Website was easy to use and created great resume lay out. My only complaint is I believed it was a small one time fee, did not become aware of a subscription fee until the next month when my account was charged. The customer service I received when I called to cancel was excellent and tried to retain the sale, but accepted my reasons for not needing it to continue at the same time. Very friendly.

Update: Despite helpfully agreeing to cancel my membership and refunding the charge, today I discovered that my membership is not canceled and I was immediately charged again. No one answering phones, conveniently. Stay away from this company.
First review: I also didn't understand that i was signing up for a subscription, but as soon as i saw the pending $24.95 charge on my account I called customer service. They were nice, professional and very helpful. They want you to be a customer so they'll try to find a price that works for you. They were still very nice and helpful when i had to decline, and promptly canceled my memebership to refund the charge. I can't make it work right now, but i will keep this company in mind if I need these services in the future.

When you get your resume built you will no longer be able to access it without putting your card info. The site even blocks you from going back. You can obviously tell anyone rating this 4 or 5 stars is fake.
oh and cancelling your account is hard also, they made sure of that. Very bad customer relationship building.

I had no idea I was signing up for a subscription and have paid 177$ for a resume I used once. Do not use this site. You could pay someone to do a resume for you for less money! Fraudulent and misleading!

I used the site MyPerfectResume to update my resume,. I applied to couple jobs online, and in about 1 week later, I received a job offer. I wanted to cancel my subscription before the trial period was over, and customer service was very nice, and informative. I recommend this site to build a great resume even with or without a lot of experience.
At first, I think it's ok for me to spend $2.95 for a resume. But yesterday, I received the message that I was charged another $24.95. To prevent this behavior I have blocked my credit card. This is worst product I have ever experienced.

I needed to use this website for a nice resume and it came out beautiful but then 2 months later I got $25 fee out of no where but luckily they were really nice and gave me the refund and were very accommodating

I like the website and the resume builder. But why lie about it being free. I am happy to pay. Why make the pricing confusing? They have a good product but I cannot give them my cc info knowing they purposefully lied about it being free. Again, I am happy to pay but after the lie about it being free, then the confusing pricing I cannot trust them to cancel my subscription when I am ready. Why be so dishonest? I am so disappointment because it is such a great site. Why do business like this? I would guess the owner is a former used car salesman.

Answer: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a very organized person who worked for the state that I reside in as an investigator. I had an injury and had to make a change in my career. I am very careful about getting pulled into scams, however, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to build a resume and cover letter that was more updated than when my original resume that I wrote years ago. First of all, the templates are not free. After spending a long period of time writing the perfect resume, I only had the option of spending $2.99 to have access to the resume/cover letter. I felt that was a reasonable fee for the use of the template. As I stated, I am very organized and manage my finances very well. I made sure that I went into my account and cancelled by subscription after 5 days of use so that I would not be charged the $29.99 for the month. Today, I checked my checking account and sure enough the $29.99 had been deducted. I immediately called customer service and they stated that my cancellation had not gone through and they had no notification of my cancellation. They were willing to give me back only $14.00 of my $29.99 back and then went on trying to sell me more offers. I was extremely angry and then spoke with a supervisor. He also argued that I had not cancelled. I went through the same steps to cancel my account while the supervisor was on the phone with me. Low and behold the cancellation went through! Obviously, this company has set up the cancellation process to fail and you will be charged the $29.00 anyway. I definitely learned my lesson! I had to threaten to have my attorney to get involved due to this company stealing money from my account before they agreed to reimburse my full $29.00. They could not give me a refund confirmation number for the remaining reimbursement. I as a Social Worker who advocate for people could not conscientiously could not write a review to warn people of this scam.
