Five Flyers are Free. More wonderful services available, including phone calls to neighbors and Facebook ads, if needed.
Helped Spread the word about our dog quickly. It gives us proof of the shelters it notifys and phone calls it makes. Happy with service
Even though we found our pet about an hour after I purchased this service. I still would highly recommend this service for the potential value it holds. They help get the word out faster than I ever could on my own. Sponsored targeted Facebook ads to people around you, call people around you and flyers sent to all the local shelters, clinics and groomers and they even send you a list of who they contacted! Highly recommend! Let them make the calls while you hit the pavement (or woods in my case) in search for your pet. She came home exhausted, dehydrated and covered in ticks but she's home and she's safe and that's all that matters.
The overall concept of this site is great. However, after signing up I felt buyer's remorse. First, they advertise that they will send out a phone call to yoir neighbors within. 6 miles of your home. Not true. I downloaded the. Csv file and over half of the addresses were 3+ miles away. I live in a suburban neighborhood so with hundreds of houses. Not one address on the list was in my neighborhood.
Second, their email stated it would take 5 minutes to fax nearby shelters, vet clinic and rescues; 1-2 hours to start phone message; and 1-2 hours to start Facebook ad. 4 hours later I didn't receive any emails.
I called and got a message that no agents are available to take your call. I reach out on messenger... nothing. The next day I receive 3 emails at around 7 pm. I downloaded the list of numbers called and brought to their attention that addresses/numbers on call list were not a mile radius from my house as they advertised. No response.
Last, I realized they have some bot scouring craigslist or something tapping in to people's emotions and posing as a concerned citizen. I know this because i posted about my animal twice and received the same exact message from "Patricia" claiming she used the service, got her animal back and was referred to the service by her vet. While I get that's a sales tactic, and an effective way since people sign up, I think it's shady. Just admit you're a pet finding service rather than pose as a concerned citizen that feels my pain.
On a side note running a Facebook ad for a day only costs about $10. So if you have the time and the knowledge you're better off doing it yourself. At least then you can see the amount of people it reached and whatever other analytics.
Like i said, it has a great concept (although the phone calls should probably be replaced by text since no one answers phone calls anymore). But their customer service is non-existent and their site falsely advertises their services.
I want to you thank you for helping me find my dog Romeo he is my only friend/companion. I've had Romeo since he was 8 weeks old and he has never slept out of my house. Romeo is now 7 years old and has anxiety he is on meds. I was so distraught just knowing he was lost or hurt, dead etc than knowing two blocks from my house on Prescott there was a mountain lion, someone found remains of an dead animal tail and intestines. Again I want to thank you so much for helping bring Romeo home alive although his leg is broken at least he's home. God bless you.
This site kickstarted my journey to finding my lost bird and I am forever grateful. I was determined and with much guided help along the way, our baby is safe at home once again.
Thank you My Lost Pet Alert!
We had several responses due to the phone calls that went out, as well as many responses to the flyers.
I posted my missing dog on Craigslist, Nextdoor, Facebook and For the Love of Louie. Someone mentioned this site and I figured it would help spread the news of being missing. I loved how the site sent faxes to local vets and shelters alerting them of her being missing! Luckily she was waiting in the yard when we woke up!
It helps to have resources when a pet goes missing and the feeling of helplessness is overwhelming. And knowing faxes were sent out to Vets was very reassuring. A great idea.
Thank you for the easy way to post my lost dog. The flyers were easy to make and print. Girl is safe and sound.
The site was quick and easy to use. Messages went out quickly! He was found by a neighbor shortly after posting to this site and several others. When trying to find a lost pet, it's important to get the word out to as many people as possible!
Great place to help we found are dog he was missing almost 4 days but with pet alert we found him fast he had a rash and eye infection but is doing much better
Yay! Popcorn is home! She was missing for three days and someone told me about My Lost Pet Alert. I joined, printed flyers and she was found tonight! I appreciated how easy it was to print flyers. Thank you!
Very thankful that he is home. So amazing. Thank you for your quick response and help! I was able to have a flyer sent to all the right agencies in my community making the search really helpful! So helpful and a great community of helpful caring animal lovers.
They had a great poster that was oversized and easy to see from far away. It allowed me to put all of the necessary information on there and it was great to use for intersections. I used a few different sites and this one was definitely one of my favorites due to ease of use and quality.
So amazing. Thank you for your quick response and help! I was able to have a flyer sent to all the right agencies in my community making the search really helpful!
I would recommend this service to everyone and anyone who lost a pet they love. What a way to bring strangers together to help reunite pets with their owners. Thank you. I am forever grateful.
The site is very informative and helpful. In a case like ours, we needed all the help we could get. This was one of several tools we used, and it worked.
My cat was found on my backyard door all wet and cooled and hungry he was crying for someone to hope n the door and let him in
Answer: Time is critical, and we work fast - during normal hours, we will typically have your alert completed within 1 hour.
Answer: Toll-Free: 1-844-738-2537.
Answer: You can start an alert for your lost pet here: https://mylostpetalert.com/start-alert/
Answer: Thank you for the question Iram. We of course cannot guarantee the return of your pet, but our service gets your pets photo and information out to thousands of eyeballs and ears located in the area they went missing. It can only benefit and increase your chances of recovery - an alert done within 5 days of your pet going missing has an average 85% success rate.
Answer: Live chat does not have a defined schedule and our phone system is not intended for customer support. If you have a sales question or questions about your alert, you can always email us at [email protected]
Answer: Yes, 100%. I did it several days later. I should have done it the same day! Your pet can be picked up by someone who is taking care of it or at a vet office. This site 100% works. At the very least do the woof plan!
Answer: I'm sorry for the delay in my answer. I hope this message is in waste and your pet has returned. But just in case - it cost me $50 to have calls, flyers, contacts to Vets in the area all done by this site. As I said, I don't know with 100 percent certainty that my cat came home because of this site but it just seems odd to me that within hours of the calls going out (my neighbors confirmed they got a call) my cat came running home to me. I wish you all the luck in locating your pet. I don't believe it is ever too late. When I was a child, I had a purebred Irish Setter that was stolen from our yard. I thought I would never see him again and yet he came home 6 months after being taken!
Answer: I live in a city that is quite small, and I went with the rural package. It's possible for an animal to travel a long distance, but the odds for that aren't very high. A rural package should be sufficient.
