This was my first online defensive driving course and I prefer taking the class in person. It wasn't bad but I just think it was over-rated and led me to believe that I would be entertained through most of it. There was a lot online reading and you couldn't go faster than the timer. The time just flew by when I took the class in person but it definitely dragged on while taking the online class. However I did enjoy the Saturday Night Live skits.

I did not like that when I researched the price, it appeared to be an all-inclusive price, when I later learned I could have spent less on other programs. I also was under the impression that the certificate would be mailed directly to my jurisdiction for me, which I believe other competitors offer. Still, I found the course to be more enjoyable than others but if I had to do it again, I might choose something that was more inclusive, sent my certificate for me, and was a little cheaper. Also, some people were upset because the wording implied that the course took only 30 minutes. Naturally, that is not the fault of the merchant, but the customer. Everyone knows this is a 4- or 8- hour course as required by your county or precinct. There is never going to be a 30-minute course. What that means is that you will receive a certificate within 30 minutes of COMPLETING the course. I understood this, but the fact that others didn't is another indication that the wording on the website needs to be more clear.
