Found the program very intuitive to use along a good help tips whenever there a question.
After forming a Group, I am looking to actively engage with the several living cousins and include some distant relatives to exponentially grow the Tree by including more newer generations and the families by marriage.
I have been able to find ancestors from the 1500's and up to more current times. I am happy to now be able to read newspaper reports.
What started out was a search for several generations. How this changed as I unexpectedly found myself identifying the family chain back twelve generations. Amazing!

My Heritage has enabled me to gain helpful information about my family. I have discovered many interesting facts that I was not aware of.
I am not satisfied with contact for My Heritage plus the Tools section.
I wish there were an email address to contact Support on the Home Page.
Recently I tried numerous tines to contact support with a few problems no reply until I went back through old emails I had & was able to get a reply. So much wasted time.
Other sites have not provided as much information as this one has. We have made some interesting discoveries about our families as a result.
An excellent research site continually providing update results from both family tree and DNA searches.
This has taken me quiet a while to get my act together and chase my family history, I am now well on the way to tracing back my fanily tree and hopefully putting the last few pieces of the puzzle together.
I could not have achieved this result without all the connections that this site has provided.

Most of my experiences were exciting. The daily input from other trees was sometimes good, other times very spaced or not related to the person in question. The ease of use and guidance are rewarding. The major deterrent is the cost of the yearly subscriptions. They cost 80% of my fortnightly pension, so unreasonable pricing. I only join when the offers to return are within my reach. More than 80% discount is terrific.

Along the years, I have encountered several aspects which have been rapĆdly solved by My Heritage. Therefore, I say I am satisfied.
Although I knew my ancestors' families names, I was short of information about their own ancestors. Therefore, I paid the corresponding fee to My Heritage in order to have it look out for them, which they did and continue doing. On that account, I am duly and completely satisfied with My Heritage's work.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
