I recently traveled overseas. I tried to use My Heritage to edit information and it was impossible to do. I had to type everything on notes on my iPhone. Adding people was difficult and ackward.

I have used My Heritage for over ten years now. It has provided me much information and history that I can use to validate and add to my genealogical research. There are places in the use of the site that I have still not figured out to properly use and seam to slow me down as I try to move faster gathering and correcting data. There should be a better tutorial build that further explains how low tech folks like me can use.
I have learned so much about relatives who lived near me as I grew up, but I knew nothing about them. I had no information about my mother's family because they had passed away young. I have been able to piece this part of my family together.

I am no longer receiving emails. Why? I have not changed my email address. Also, I have tried to send invitations to others, but it come back as not accessible. What is going on?

I enjoy most of what MyHeritage has to offer. I do wish there was more refined options for printing one's family tree. For example, the ability to chose just one smaller branch of my family tree instead of having to print out 100 pages. I often find the need to share just a smaller branch with particular family members and don't see an easy way to do this. I wish you would make that feature more dynamic and flexible.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
