After only using the internet for paying bills, it's been fun researching my heritage. The helpful tools for confirming the matches makes using the internet for researching family history easy.
I spent 4 days and I enjoyed looking into and adding family members to my family tree
Easy to use system and have found a great deal of information that would have otherwise taken a lot of research. Price of the product is middle road but there are a lot of features that make it better. I only wish they could add more relative designations. Once you get further up the tree and start having similar family members marry within another family line you do get a lot of what I call side recitatives, basically not blood line, however, later on you may have a blood line but you have used too many slots by then. Also wish they would color code, Maternial vs Paternal and if someone is in both lines then maybe a PM or MP designation because names cross over all the time.
I am most appreciative of this resource! It has been an exciting journey making discoveries of family, both mine and my husband's. It is wonderful to share with our children so they may know where they come from. The website is incredibly easy to navigate.

I've gotten matches and documents from My Heritage that I haven't been able to get from some of the other apps that I used. Especially dealing with Maryland records such as birth, marriage, and death. I was extremely surprised to find birth records for some of my family members that midwives were present at the birth giving me another surname that is in my genealogy tree

It is easy and very though when they find relative. It is easy to look into it. You get to take your time to look at it. And after you can decide to add it to you tree. It not just information about your relatives there is picture of them. There even coats of arms of the family also there's their grave marker. I am very satisfied with it.

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
