I would like to bring to your attention an issue I am currently experiencing with my subscription. I initially purchased a year-long subscription in December 2024, which is reflected as ACTIVE and set to expire on December 25,2025. However, today, April 14,2025, I am encountering difficulties accessing DNA pages and receiving a message indicating that "The subscription plan of your family site has expired. All data is intact. To restore full access to your family site, extend your subscription." Upon reviewing my account settings, it confirms that my subscription is indeed shown as "Unlimited - subscription is active." I have reached out to MyHeritage via email and am awaiting their response. I appreciate your attention to this matter.

I did not have access to my heritage for about 2 months and i did find it difficult to find the help numbers, I left messages but no response it wasn't until I went to an old email address that I did receive a response and was happy with the customer service and help.

My Heritage has been a great resource in completing our family history. It has been a wonderful resource for locating information on extended members of our families. The regular emails on searches also, whilst containing new information, act as a stimulus to get active again.
Everything went exceptionally well and nothing was overlooked.
Love the coordination of all the new family with info. Wish that we could e mail easier with each other.

My experience with My Heritage has been confirmed that my father who brought me up isn't my father.
I found MyHeritage to be an excellent service for anyone building a family tree, the site is brilliant and the staff can, t do enough to help if a problem comes up. I think the whole service is brilliant.
Lots of information, but also lots of mistakes. Record is normally very well, but smart matches has given me a lot of trouble because it was wrong
The only problem I have there is never any info on my fathers side
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
