After looking and using a number of different sites I chose MyHeritage to build and research my Family Tree. I have been using it for many years and found the research tools great and the family tree better than other websites.
There is so much information on MyHeritage that I find myself using the site every day. Even on days that I am taking a break I get emails from MyHeritage about matches that expand my family tree and lead me to new relatives. It is like MyHeritage is searching for me.
After two weeks from the initial DNA transfer from Ancestry to MyHeritage, I still didn't have any DNA results, so I contacted MyHeritage's customer service and they promptly responded, assuring me that they alerted their team about the delay and that the situation would be addressed swiftly. And indeed, the DNA results appeared two days later! Thank all the service people for their support!

Het is niet echt goedkoop maar u krijgt wel waar voor uw geld. Ik werk graag met MyHeritage en ontdek nog steeds nieuwe voorouders en aanverwanten. De helpdesk is attent en reageert binnen enkele dagen. Ik ben tevreden en kan MyHeritage dan ook van harte aanbevelen.

The service is very interesting, and I want to say a big thank you for giving me 30 extra days after my subscription had expired. I hadn't even started exploring the features of MyHeritage in a meaningful way, so this gesture is truly appreciated. However, what I really find missing is the ability to analyze and compare the DNA matches of people other than myself — for example, to perform triangulation on their matches.
Another feature I wish existed is an automated way to search for a common ancestor among people I match with. Manually going through the entire family tree to spot people with the same name and birth year is extremely difficult and time-consuming.
It would be great to have AI integrated in the service, since I found it very helpful to use Gemini and ChatGPT. I'm making screenshots and add it to chat to analize trees and DNA triangulated areas.

Kwartierstaat genummerd 1=hoofdpersoon, 2 en 3 de ouders, 4, 5, 6 eb 7 de grootouders enzovoort niet makkelijk te genereren. Ook het "familieboek" lukt niet altijd.
Mijn kleinzoon met dezelfde voornaam als hoofdpersoon aanmerken is lastig.

I have been using MyHeritage for about the past 8 years and find their service as value for money. They have been providing new features over the years while enhancing existing features. I have recommended MyHeritage to a few friends and relatives and will continue to use MyHeritage well into the future.
I have had such a great time researching my family tree.The site makes everything easy. I have gone back 7 generations. This will be great to show with my whole family. I highly recommend this site.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
