I like the report features of the program, which enable me to print out the family trees for relatives using various formats and content.

We gave each other MyHeritage membership as a birthday present and it has become the most fascinating experience. We have found the most interesting ancestors going all the way back to the 9th century, and are still learning more as we go along.
There are numerous problems:
1) The screen on my laptop (despite several changes of passwords) is now distorted with very bad formatting - a lot of text to the left and 3/4 of the way down the page new information about potential family links
2) I had to change my password several times but initially because the message from MyHeritage said that I had reached my limit yet no prior indication that I was approaching such a limit was given, only to ask you to increase my limit as and when necessary, which you have previously done.
3) Increasing issues with downloading Family Books and with previous Family books when opening them. ( Much of the detail is missing. Page after page is blank.)
With regards to the App
4) I went to download the latest version pf the App because a message came up from you saying that there is a new App update. When I tried to do so, it became apparent that my Iphone 7 can not handle your new Apps requirements but instead of being able to click out of the link, the message about the new App remains with the App essentially frozen and I am unable to use it.
I have tried to contact you and received an AI enabled response asking me to change my password and to respond to the email (I did) if I had further issues (Those above to which as yet no answer received)!
I have used MyHeritage A LOT to do genetic genealogy and recommended other people to do so. However, there are many things that I used to do and get out of MH that are not possible any longer since you closed down the possibility to have your match list sent to you. I have asked about the reason for this a number of times, but never got any satisfactory answer. Please, reintroduce this possibility and you will once again become the number one choice for serious DNA-related research.
I use the matches to establish the farm names before going into the ArkivDigital records that I bought a a subscription to
My Heritage is an important part of my genealogical research. I look forward to being informed about my DNA connections, and when time permits, I research these connections the old-fashioned way... through paper research. I have been able to expand my family tree with verified information, and have taken advantage of on-line presentations to help me be a better researcher.
I'm extremely disappointed with MyHeritage. I was promised a replacement DNA kit on 9th April after an issue with the original sample — which was sent correctly at the same time as another that processed fine. Since then, I've had no kit, no tracking, and no reply to multiple follow-up emails (sent 6th June, 30th June, and more recently). To make matters worse, I've now been locked out of my account for weeks, with repeated error messages saying: "Your access has been temporarily disabled due to irregular activity." Because I can't log in, I can't access support or raise a ticket. The only way to contact them has been replying to old emails — which are completely ignored. This is unacceptable customer service and I would caution others before buying.

As a regular subscriber over several years, have found the MyHeritage program online very comprehensive, with continuing additions of world wide collections of records, historical papers, photographs, DNA matches, video clips, links to other family trees.
At times other things take priority over the subscription, but it is reassuring that my family tree is backed up and safe with MyHeritage. Also MyHeritage offer a free downloadable program - Family Tree Builder - which can be synchronized with my online MyHeritage genealogy Tree. Appreciate too, ongoing valuable support offered by the MyHeritage Team. Thank you
I like most of it! But, I don't know how to edit out the inconsistencies especially when Im going far back to figure out what happened to relatives who were alive in the 1700 or 1800's.

On me mets "vérifier la correspondance" et "34 incorrects" Le Vérificateur de cohérence de l'arbre MyHeritage vient de trouver 34 problèmes dans votre arbre généalogique: MARKADIEU Family Tree. I have not explored more in depth contact. With all the matches, I have been keeping But have not contacted those individuals. Always great to see the new matches, and someday I will start doing that, but in the meantime watching new ones appear!

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
