Heritage has excellent access to national and international sources with validation of authenticity. I have identified almost 600 ancestors from another country. These matches are coordinated with the availability of using the DNA that includes the availability of contacting the managers of other lines.
However, using the Heritage tree program presents difficulty to identifying duplicate people being listed in the same tree. When you search a name, there is no way to identify if it is a duplicate or in the original tree. In addition, there is no mechanism to identify duplicates and the process is cumbersome to identify and delete. Lastly, the program does not provide the user with the same/similar named persons when you are entering data, thus numerous duplicates are created and one can inadvertently create separate stand-alone trees rather than reinforcing the primary tree. The process to identify and remove duplicates is cumbersome and very frustrating.

I was told when I renewed my Omni subscription had free access to Legacy but it appears I have to pay. I tried reaching by email MyHeritage but have not received any email back. Please give this your immediate attention.
I purchased a Premium Plus subscription after a free trial. It turned out that the Premium Plus plan didn't include all the features included in the trial. When I called customer service they quickly resolved the problem.
The number of possible connections for my family tree is amazing. My problem, however, is that I have problems:
1. The boxes with information about relatives is hard for me to work with because they are so far from each other.
2: I think that the methods I have been using to add relatives is not very productive.
I am, however, very happy with the availability of so many resources.
It would be nice if a loyalty program gave long time users less expensive access, long time users help new comers to genealogy in turn bringing new customers to myheritage program

I would appreciate further development for options to print the family trees on large format paper.
There is a lot of information on MY Heritage and for that I am pleased. However accessing them can be difficult when I keep being asked to prove I am who i ma and I got locked out for over a week becasue of this. Secondly the purported matches are often incorrect and I keep being asked to correct names in my tree that are already correct.
I was recently persuaded to renew my subscription against my better judgment on the assurance I would be upgraded and given access to newspapers. However, it seems that very few newspapers are from The UK. US newspapers are no use at all.
Things happen when least expected get locked out. New matches lead to upgrade to papers etc they used to be free. No information anymore as to who matched with your smart matches and I could go on and on but space here won't let me

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
