I spoke with Lisa today in Tech Support. She was very kind to answer my questions that to her I am sure were quite immature. She answered the questions as if each one was the most intelligent ones she had ever heard. She seemed really happy to be able to help eliminate my confusion. Each person I have talked with treated me as if I was the only customer they had, never trying to rush my questions and concerns.
I expected a complicated and long, drawn out process requesting a refund. Not so! They were quick and courteous. Thanks! :)
I ran out of funds. A 4th cousin in Denmark emailed me to let me know they asked him if he wanted my trees there are over 5000 ancestors and 10years research. I was not happy and have deleted my 4 trees

I managed to inadvertently lose access to my site. Lisa answered my support call immediately and very graciously got me restored to where I had been in record time. THEY CHARGED MY CARD THE 119.00 BEFORE THE TRIAL PERIOD AND YOU CAN'T REACH THEM ON THE PHONE, E-MAILED THEM AND NO RESPONSE.
Having found a bug in My Heritage which resulted a loss of access the Profile of the family member. I E-Mailed technical support, had a confirmation of receiving the details of my problem. Within two days I had E-Mail explaining that it was a known problem and a solution was being found.
I had another 3 days inviting me to download a new version of My Heritage, which corrected my problem. All within one week.
Quite frankly I am disgusted with my heritage, having received my dna results a few days ago I could not beleive the result having done family history for 15 years and gone back to 1700 my family are all english born in england dna result 3% that is not possible my sisters result 75% we have the same parents, granparents, great granparents, great great granparents & same blood group tried to contact my heritage no result tel no for support not recognised. I will have my DNA done by another site and will publish results. VAA

I asked for a refund of my subscription and cancellation of my ongoing subscription. I found Gabriel considerate and understanding when given the reason for asking for a refund. I would not hesitate in recommending Heritage. I have found other software Organisations very difficult to communicate with particularly for older people and when there is a financial problem MOST DO NOT WISH TO KNOW!

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.

Firstly, I must clarify that Myheritage informs all of the annual charge and its price on the automatic e-mail that is sent out after you enroll in the membership and after every renewal. Also, one may view the status or cancel an annual subscription at any time when logging in to MyHeritage and going to your My Purchases page and incur no annual charge.
Your MyHeritage member experience is very important to us and we really do value the satisfaction of all of our members. This is why our terms and conditions read that If you are not satisfied with your purchased plan you may request a full refund by contacting Customer Support within thirty (30) days of the initial purchase date of the subscription.
