VIZ took me through the process of extracting a tree of approximately 100 entries from Getcom file of approximately 2,800 entries. He was very clear, concise, and effective and the results were great.
This site was very helpful in finding information about my deceased relatives as my mother was put in an orphanage at an early age and didn't know a lot about her birth parents. I did not need this service any more as I found the information I needed. The representative I just talked to, to cancel my subscription, was very friendly and was not hostile in any way. He was very cordial and happy to help me.

I was having trouble with fixing an error that had made it's way into my family tree. Eventually I rang and was surprised to be connected immediately. Spoke to a pleasant young lady who emailed me how to fix it. Minutes later I had remedied what I had wrestled with for hours. Great
We sent our DNA test kits in one week ago, by US Mail, from Dallas to Houston, about 250 miles. As of today, they have not logged our samples into their system, so I have no way of knowing whether or not they received our samples. I used the envelope provided in the test kit, so the samples were sent first class mail. I should have used priority mail, so I would have a tracking number and proof they received the samples. The customer service rep. Was no help. She said I would have to wait, possibly up to 3 weeks before my samples are logged into the system. Then another 3-4 weeks to get results.
I had paid my premium charge but website did not accept that I was a member, my tree was still there but I could not add anything. I tried to contact them by phone but the automated message kept asking me to press the pound key. I do not have a pound key but pressing everything I got through. They knew this was a problem they 'call it something different in every country' It is the hash key! After that they were very helpful and resolved the problem, staying on the line until I checked it.
Took money - $159.20 USD out of my account without authorisation. This is the second time they've taken money from my account.
Initially I took out a premium plus subscription for 12 months. After that period I did not intend on extending as I was very busy. They did not inform me that auto-renew was default. I thought this was cunning of them, nonetheless, I continued on for another 12 months. I learned how to go into settings and turn auto-renew OFF.
I received an email today saying your subscription has EXPIRED, and you can extend at any time to regain full access to your account. Several hours after this another email saying "Renewal Notice - we've extended your data subscription for 1 year. You were charged $159.20 (US).
I've emailed them requesting that they refund my money, I've also contacted my bank. I will be cancelling my credit card. Stay tuned as I will update you on MyHeritage's response (if any).

I had a problem that came from my own stupidity. It took a couple of work arounds to get to e-mail help, but when Judit dealt with my complaint, everything went swimminingly well. I think My Heritage support did a good job for me.
I'm probably what you'd call a genealogy power user, and My Heritage does not give me as much as Ancestry used to, but I'm happy to go with it for a while because has impressive international collections it has, and through the new Legacy Family Tree deal, I got a good price.
I'm with Family Tree DNA which is very comprehensive, but I appreciate the MyHeritage capability of uploading results.
Will I auto renewal? No, but a year's worth is OK.
The young lady that helped me was excellent, This was one of the best help sessions I have ever had.
For example, when i click for African or Native American the database gives me for possible matches from New England, Wales, or Ireland.

In regards to your feedback, I can't find any evidence of how DNA testing is flawed because of the increase of DNA testing. On the contrary, because of a large amount of comparable DNA available nowadays, great advancements have been made in the past years, and there will be much more to discover.
Indeed, slavery was abolished in the Bahamas in 1834 and given the history of what African Americans have gone through, especially where many of the traditional methods of genealogy research for African Americans have been complicated by the history of slavery, missing records and names being changed. Also, not to mention, many people were trafficked across state lines and stories were simply not passed down because they were too traumatic. Because of this, DNA research does offer a way to circumvent these obstacles by measuring and comparing ones genetic makeup to trace roots and find more insight into one's family history to ultimately indicate matching DNA and lineage to specific tribes in Africa. Along with the Ethnicity Estimate we provide, we also offer tools such as ancestral surnames, comparing trees and measuring ones shared DNA that has also been very valuable in tracing family history.
I can assure you that MyHeritage is on top of this and we will continue to work on improving our research tools for African Americans along with developing better tools based on your feedback, new scientific research, and discoveries.

I emailed Heritage several times about printing out results. It is not my printer. I hit print and pages come out blank. I ask about DNA results no response back. My Mother is 100% Italian and my Father is Irish-Scottish- Welsh. DNA states I have almost 25 % greek. I ask my Mom and other relatives they said we have no Greek in our background. I had cousins who are my blood relatives on the Italian side come back with 46 % Italian no Greek, I feel this is an error. I guess I will have to have the DNA test done again with another site.

I'd actually be very happy to assist you with printing your results along with giving you more information on your ethnicity estimate.
I've actually come across many Italians that share greek DNA and this estimate does not necessarily mean that you are not half Italian. We give you an estimate of your ethnicity, meaning that the results might be influenced by migration patterns and may not entirely represent your actual origins.
It is a verifiable fact that DNA ethnicity is not evenly divided throughout the generations and some of your family can inherit more of a specific ethnicity than others. Moreover, it is found that people within surrounding countries in Europe share common DNA for various reasons such as people moving around frequently and official borders and communities being occupied.
There is verifiable historical evidence that Greeks established many colonies around the Mediterranean and Italy and Greece have been in contact for centuries. Therefore, your estimate doesn't necessarily mean that you are not Italian.
As you may know, there is a noticeable genetic difference between Northern Italians and Southern Italians, with northerners being close to the French population, while southerners overlap with both Balkan and other southern European populations.
I'd say this is worth researching and I'd like to make mention that along with our estimate, many of our members benefit from other research tools we provide that is integrated with their DNA results such as DNA matching, ancestral surnames, and comparing matching family trees to help understand their family story.

I want to thank Markus at My Heritage for helping me figure out how to send kits to my family living out of state. We have had great service with My Heritage, even when they were in the midst of Harvey.
This was a first time for my husband and me and we were confused by the results, since they contradicted our assumptions. At first it was hard to get through to them, but eventually they had an expert phone us at a prearranged convenient time. He did an excellent job of explaining their model and our results. The beauty of this process is learning about that deep background, beyond the grandparent stories. What seemed contradictory now makes perfect sense. You must keep an open mind! We totally recommend MyHeritage.
I used the 14day trial. I called before the trial period was over. After the trial period was over my card was charged and they corrected the error.

Had a problem with the login credentials to my own family tree on MH getting confused with my login to a friend's site. It happened when I was forced to change my own e mail address, and the order of my subsequent actions caused the problem. Samuel was fantastic. I felt understood, cared about, and he was able to tell me (not a well-accomplished internet user) how to go about fixing the problem. I needed action on the part of MH to fix the problem completely and Samuel stayed on top of things and helped me through that as well. Have had excellent experiences with other customer service people at MH, including Marianne, who was outstanding as well and went far beyond my expectations. Nothing but praise for this company!
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
