I wanted to remove an unwanted tree from my website. The service provider gave precise and succinct instructions on how to achieve this. Problem fixed.
I paid my fee and before very long, I seem to be blocked at times and the payment schedule shows up. Try another time and I am fine. Hardly ever get to call as I work on my tree late in the day and a hearing loss makes that difficult to hear. Not likely to renew as I don't need the hassle. Many contributors have no sense of a common naming convention, something standard. Someone who died in Colonial America in 1700 might be buried in Mass, USA, Mass, British Colonial America, Mass Colony and the error finder will flag dozens if not hundred of differences. Just tired of so many just copying and pasting info to their tree in such a manner that (so in so) "gave birth to daughter "A" when she was 5 years old". Don't those people fact check? When combined with Geni, I surely want to do my research somewhere else. As for DNA, I get more authentic hits through another DNA provider that actually are in my tree!
There never seems to be a shortage of potential family among the "matches". Being slightly OCD the info can be somewhat an overload, requiring a pause in my review process. DNA matching going well, just didn't expect to find 900 years of family so quickly!
I have found this family tree site one of the best I've ever used. It has so information available it's incredible. I've never found the site lacking in anything.

MyHeritage support team was very kind and quick answering my question. Even though I wrote them in Spanish, they replied in both languages, English and Spanish, which was very nice.
No matter what is your doubt, the team members for MyHeritage helps a lot. My doubt was very easy; neverthereless they were right away to give me the direction which solve my problem. Also, the smart seach is very precise and allow us to manage our family three.

Today I contacted My Heritage because I have not received the DNA that was ordered for my sister. I was immediately answered by William who helped me with my problem and even provided additional information to me. I submitted my DNA to ancestry.com and my sisters through My Heritage. There is no comparison and My Heritage is far more user friendly! I wish now I had used them for my DNA! If youre on the fence, I would recommend My Heritage. I would also recommend that William get a bonus. No, we are not related. I will keep his name and if I do need help, I hope I get him!
I ordered the kit on February 18th, and sent it in the same day I received it in the mail. They did not process it until March 13th. Now here we are a month after that and still no results, no contact, nothing. I ordered an Ancestry DNA test on February 28th, sent it in same day I received it, they processed it by March 14th and I got my results by April 8th. Still waiting on the MyHeritage results to compare but so far Ancestry DNA has been 2 weeks quicker. I called MyHeritage customer support and they said it may be another week or 2 so I am not pleased at all so far.
I recently used My Heritage DNA and found it to be invaluable in verifying some family folklore on deeper historical ethnicity. The family tree builder Is easy to use and the research database add on is strong in information if you are of Eastern European or Baltic Heritage. The Help service is rapid and thorough in their responses to your queries.

I'm a native Dutch speaker. After choosing that language, I found out that 5 people were in line before me. When I arrived at number 1, this guy's problem took an eternity. As a voice kept telling me that I could easily switch to the English helpdesk and I was tired of waiting, I switched over... only to find out that this time another 4 people were waiting before me and there was no way switching back!
I then tried it another day and this time I was helped almost immediately.
The person was very friendly and accurate.
I had posted a 'I am disappointed' review and Rafael was super quick at responding, asking me to contact him. Which I did. We figured out what had possibly occurred and with no blame assigned, I received a full refund, which was what I was seeking. Very quick, very accommodating and easy to work through the issue. Rafael was terrific!
I gained a lot of information using My Heritage. They were easy to work with and I would recommend them.
How encouraging that they even have phone support, let alone a staff that one senses really cares. Got my questions answered. Will probably call back again later.

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
