Cela fait 8 ans que suis abonné à My-Héritage.
Jai commencé comme tout le monde ma généalogie avec un petit logiciel, mais il sait avérer très vite insuffisant et étant bloqué avec toutes les personnes de ma famille que je navançais pas.
Avec larrivée dinternet, jai cherché des sites de généalogie et jai commencé avec My-Héritage car labonnement des 500 premières personnes de larbre était gratuit, jai vite avancé puis étant de nouveau bloqué, je me suis abonné, sans regret.
Cest un outil formidable, construit par des personnes compétentes, et on avance très vite dans nos recherches en étant en contact avec beaucoup dautres généalogistes.
Je sais quil y a dautres sites de ce genre, mais pour moi celui-ci est le meilleur, bien fait, bien construit, très clair pour travailler, et, il peut nous arriver parfois davoir quelques petits ennuis, comme cela mest arrivé, mais ils sont vite résolus et ce, toujours par la même personne qui connait nos problèmes, pour moi cest Charlotte qui est super formidable et très compétente comme toute léquipe dailleurs.
Je recommande vivement ce site à tous ceux qui veulent se lancer dans cette aventure formidable et passionnant quest la généalogie, vous ne le regretterez pas.

I wanted to cancel my account and at least try to get the fee returned to me and the young woman I spoke with not only assisted me with that, but also assisted me in returning the membership fee to me.
Though getting a phone call through was a challenge, I finally got a person on the line.
The person who answered my call today was helpful for all my questions ranging from billing questions to mechanics of correcting an error in my gene chart. He helped me straighten out the account information and showed me how to print out my chart and how to see different arrangements in the different options for charting the family tree. He also answered my question of who to contact when our family visits Northern Ireland this summer to possibly see the family lands in Bushmills NI. This would be a major accomplishment for us and our family.
I look forward to settling on a style and having charts made for my family.

The customer service is very patient and helpful. They resolved my issue. My mother has an account, but my dad put his kit on my account. With everyone on the phone we were able to move my dad to mom's account. I love the MyHeritage and their search engine. You pay extra on all the DNA sites to use their search engine, but I like their search engine better then Ancestry. I have done four sites and am most pleased with MyHeritage. I have called them on several occasions and always found them to be helpful.
I cannot praise the staff at My Heritage highly enough. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Through family contacts a completely new line of family from Ireland has been uncovered, and my late mother's unknown father turned up, as well as sisters and a brother she never knew she had.
On my father's side two of his brothers who were traumatised during work war one are recorded of whom I knew nothing.

I had a misunderstanding with a sales person who called me and offered Complete package for MyHeritage. I made a deal, but package was linked to wrong family tree. I wondered how to correct situation. I called to customer service number and there was a super good service by a very nice lady. Everything was corrected in a couple of minutes. She also gave me good tips on how to use MyHeritage.
I told her that we also took DNA samples which I will need to send from Finland to USA. I told her that a friend of mine gave me feedback how she newer got results for the test she had taken. I was told by customer serivece, that if results wont be available after six week, customers can contact MyHeritage and they will send you a new sample kit free of charge. This is good to know, since sometimes post can accidently loose sample letters, it doesn´t mean that you have to pay sample kit again, just let customer service know that you need new one.

I forgot to cancel my trial subscription and noticed that the year's fee had been debited from my account. I wrote to Support and they reimbursed me immediately.
The gentleman that assisted me was very professional, patient, and knowledgeable. He had great people skills! He was a pleasure to work with. He was very good at being patient with a much older person. He is an asset to your firm.

Another website copied my tree, and put my websitephoto (of me) in my cousins prophile. After that i contacted that webmaster and asked her to correct it, but she couldǹt and made me her webmaster instead, so i could erase the picture. After that all my DNA-matches was referred to my cousin, on the other website. Your support could fix it though.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
