I called the Support Center, because I got problems with the Adress, where the DNA Kit should be delivered. The Employee was firendly and answered all my questions I had have.
And I also didint waited on the line that much!

They need to update their system checker, so that less mistakes are made. Their system has a bad habit of creating a new person instead of linking the correct one, the error seems to occur because of multiple marriages form one person. Other than this issue, I'm happy with it!
Dylank was able to understand and solve my problem quickly and with obvious expertise. He was also very pleasant to deal with.

I had been charged twice for two different plans in less than a week. Instead of what ancestry does and only charges you the difference between your current and upgraded plans. Im very disappointed in this site. They had so much promise and now I cant get any records added after paying over $100.

I would give Lorna 5 stars if your interpretation wasn't so effusive. She was endlessly patient, repeating her explanations as many times as I asked for and even going so far as to walk me through a step by step process when verbal explanations didn't help me. And she did this more than once and still had a smile in her voice at the end of my call. That girl deserves a raise.

I had mistakenly thought I had done a DNA test with another company and wanted to get another one from MyHeritage for comparative purposes. I purchased a kit online, only to discover that I had already done their test a while ago! I called MyHeritage and was met by a cheerful PaulaG, who quickly offered to cancel my new order. I gratefully said yes, then moved onto my wife's DNA results which exhibited some puzzling results. PaulaG unerringly showed me some keystrokes which provided more detailed results that finally made sense. With that she also provided me some useful history about the historical relationship of the English and the Vikings. One stop shopping, coupled with a sunny disposition! A role model for others in the business of customer service to emulate!
Aaron was very helpful and check if my request was possible. Pictures, so far, can only be copied and uploaded on Word one by one. I needed this feature to check whet was uploaded and what was not. Perhaps in the future this maybe possible. Thanks.
I can only research back to 1908-before that my relatives were in Europe-if my American history went further I could learn more. I thought I could follow further back when I ordered this. The info from 1908 thru present was very helpful.

I made a mistake when I went to try and start a free trial and managed to subscribe for a year! The customer support responded perfectly and not only refunded my money but arranged a free trial too!
Very knowledgeable and answered completely all of my DNA related questions! I would like for your research department to focus on "New Mexico" Heritage DNA related testing. E.g. "Sephardic" ancestry rather than just saying "European Ashkenazi", and specific Native American Ancestry e.g. Pueblo (Tewa) Tribes and "Genizaro" (Detribalized Indians brought to NM as Slaves by the Colonial Spanish Settlers here in the 16th Century who became assimilated into "The Spanish Culture" of New Mexico.) Also, keeping in mind that New Mexico's history is much older than any of our surrounding States, including that of California.
Aaron helped me with issues with my DNA kit. He was kind and gave me all the necessary information. He asked if he could help me with anything else and said he would pass the information on to the people concerned.
Except from being a fantastic and pedagogical site with numerous possibilities I must now also give my credits to the service team. I was a bit upset with the invoicing and the way it was executed, but then I talked to a very friendly woman whom solved it in 1 minute. Truly an asset to the company and my credits to her. I highly recommend MyHeritage!

I have now tried both Ancestry and Heritage and by far prefer Heritage so user friendly in my opinion
Also paying a premium price took me to ancestors I could never have found so quickly if ever! So very well worth it taking me back to 1500's

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
