I am inestimably grateful to MY HERITAGE. For years I have been dogged by the canard that my legal father was not my biological father. Now wonderful MY HERITAGE has picked out of their database my closest DNA relative, my wife and a close cousin of my legal and now natural father. MY HERITAGE solved the riddle.
I recently had to contact customer services for their help on a subscription I took out but could no longer afford due to ill health. Iain S couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I was very grateful to him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend My Heritage to anyone looking to research their genealogy. All the best.
I had a 14 day trial and my account was mistakenly charged on my 14th day. Customer service was a little bit of a wait but when I spoke to someone they resolved the issue immediately and were extremely nice! The site has a lot to offer and my trial period left me with some excellent information! I would highly recommend this site!

Ever since I purchased my new laptop I have had many problems with old websites. The most frustrating one was linking My Heritage Family Tree with My Heritage Family Tree Builder. Most of the issues were created by me.The more I tried to fix the problem the worse it became. Finally I reached out to the Help Dept. at My Heritage. I was fortunate to contact with three wonderful people who walked me through the mess I had created. All were very patient and at no time "b. L s. T" me. When they were not able to solve the issue they referred me to another technician more specialized with my problem. My first contact was a lovely Irish lady who whose name I unfortunately did not write down. She was very understanding and referred me to Paola. He spent about a week messaging back and forth with me. I however was not skilled enough to successfully follow his clear instructions. He then passed me on to Yoel who set up a TeamViewer meeting where he spent an hour repairing the problem Thanks to all. Pete
Cancelled my free trial a day late and was charged, emailed asking for a full refund and they granted a full refund within a day of my email. Very friendly and polite response as well. A positive experience.
I didn't cancel after the 14 day free trial and was billed for a year of membership. I really couldn't afford that and contacted Heritage. They responded immediately and resolved the issue. I am grateful and in awe of the prompt response. I hope to do business with them again.

Het was weer van ouds de snelheid waarmee het probleem werd opgelost en kan nu weer verder met het programma dus kan ik ook weer gaan opvullen wat er nog aan ontbreekt
Everything worked perfectly, even during COVID19. There was a delivery issue due to some Covid restriction. MyHeritage were very understanding and send a new kit without any issues. Great support service! And the results seems quite accurate :)

Found some great pictures and links of some of my family members, but realised that there wasn't enough information on my family to start a family tree! After doing this I requested a refund and the response was extremely quick and there was no fuss!

I have enjoyed my experience with MyHeritage. My brother kept up the family tree. He recently passed and I don't have the drive to continue his work. I asked for a cancellation and refund and 2 days later it was done. No questions asked. Couldn't ask for better service from any company. I would recommend MyHeritage to anyone.

When I made my first purchase, I was contacted by someone from MyHeritage who gave me advices on what I had bought. Later, when I involuntarily bought a product, they accepted to give me a full refund.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
