I have been locked out of this site 6/7 times in the last 3 month from 1 to 4 days. It states a security issue and always seems to happen when I give bad feedback on the App or to a phone caller, trying to sell me more packages. The discoveries are also questionable, I am in no way related to Charles 2nd or Rob Roy, but they say they are distant relations
I first joined MyHeritage some years ago and when I retired and had to time to devote to research I signed up as a fully subscribed member. I have never regretted it for a minute. It is easy to use and their resources are growing more as time goes on with the recent addition of newspaper articles which have proved to be so helpful and quite fascinating.
MyHeritage provides me with much accurate ancestry information in a useful format.
I've been a customer for many years, paying a hefty annual subscription fee. After the incident involving automatic charges, MH agreed to refund me 91GBP and I've been chasing them for this money for the past two months now to no avail.

I checked out several sites before choosing myheritage. They have it all! I sent them my DNA and they've matched me up with a lot of relatives, some I never even knew about from all over the world! I can choose who can see what information, they opened up a lot of records, and opened my eyes to so many new experiences and places to look. I love them!
I'd like to have my and my husband's trees and accounts accessible in one place. I'm trying to do that but need help, which is available. I just need to do it. Otherwise, I'm mostly happy with MyHeritage.

I have been trying to find information about my family including different parts. Since joining My Heritage this has been eye opening. At just the touch of a button l have found different members of my family tree.
The information and research included in the site is incredible, I am so glad I took the plunge, as it happened I only needed it for some information to put in a visa application for a trip to India.
However, I have since looked in more detail and have been happy with the in depth results.
I would highly recommend it 5o anyone….you won't be disappointed.

More or less the results, regarding from which countries my DNA is coming from, were as expected. But some funny regions that I did not know, where there too.
I'm a very satisfied customer with the service I have received; the customer service center was extremely helpful in every way I needed help!
Most importantly It helped me to discover the routes of my Ancaster's. I'm so glad I did it. It cleared up many foggy ideas I had before and the results were overwhelming 😭 I'm so thankful for this technology and the professionals who work with it.

I found out a family truth. My Grandmother who died always said she had African heritage and we didn't believe her till we found out I had 5% Nigeria.
It has been prtetty good however it came up that i had a 1st cousin who i believe is actually my half brother.
My query was answered very quickly and the answer solved my problem. Well done MyHeritage!
I am a long time member of MY. Firstly, I wonder why MH does not refine the DNA sample I sent in. Other companies do. I don't believe my one is accurate.
I find a few features have been at the cutting edge eg photos. I like that it suggests conflicts in information but some of these I can't correct. For me, the main part is constructing my family tree and this has been cumbersome. I don't have hours to wait on help. So I have become less impressed and less engaged with it.
I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service response time with my representative Nir. I would get a response within a couple of hours and he even checked in on me daily to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction. Nir was knowledgeable and more importantly kind. Just such a positive experience.
Very satisfied! So far it's been very easy to navigate! I'm on several different DNA sites and so far this is the easiest!
When my mum died 5 years ago I realised I knew very little about my family. I began using my heritage to see what I could find out and became totally emersed in researching my family. I found I had a great uncle who was seriously wounded in WWI and died from his injuries here in England but the most unbelievable thing was he is buried in a cemetery less than a mile from where I live. Once you start you can't stop and I am looking forward to what I can find next. Thank you my heritage.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
