Le ricerche che sono riuscito a raccogliere le ho trovate fra i ricordi dei parenti, girando per cimiteri e chiese. MY HERITAGE devo dire che non mi è stato di nessun aiuto oltre a darmi la possibilità dell'inserimento delle persone.
I miei parenti sono tuitti Italiani, quello proposto da MY HERITAGE sono tutti esteri, pertanto non ho potuto integrare nulla. Ho trovato alcuni documenti nel PORTALE ANTENATI di Milano e provincia, nella provincia di Varese è tutto totalmente assente. Per chi deve ricostruire la sua Genealogia Familiare Italiana non lo trovo UTILE. A meno che, mi sappiate indicare dove cercare!

With the help of others I have managed to find my descendents back 7 generation to the war of independence in America. Also many other legs of our family to many generation. The picture section is also a boon to the site giving life to a big list.
The smart searches return very often duplicate data and it is time consuming to reject all of them.
Second there is several times not accurate data which is bein taken from other sources and there is no option to correct it, e.g. wrong DOB or Name. Support for that is inexistant on Myheritage Side.
Looked for WWII records for Battle of the Buldge for my Uncles. Could only find Draft registration and nothing on Airborne Divisions.

Tend to have little blasts of research to update my site as much as i can,get loads of info to add but dont have the time to do a lot of it,so pick and choose when i can.have quite a few mistakes which i would like to get sorted out,overall quite satisfied with My Heritage.
Easy to find out about your family and background. Found many people that are part of my life.
With Myheritage I have been able to make progress in finding my ancestors and relative relatives in the trees I research either by deduction or by DNA matches.

Your screen layout for messaging and for trees does not use my computer screen very well. It is difficult to get around and to see the details. I have a large screen but you have what I guess you might call regions within your app that leaves a lot of white space but not much room for me to view information. I use MyHeritage mostly on my Windows 11 computer. It takes a very long time to move around on your tree. This experience is not on just one day it is everyday since I started using MyHeretage.

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
