The cost of full membership, about £230.00 per year, is maybe 50% more than I am prepared to pay.
If I was using it 3 or 4 times a week doing good sessions, then maybe it could represent decent value.
Unfortunately, I might use My Heritage once a week, probably only 2 or 3 times a month, which is my fault, but I do not have the time to put the input in to the system, due to my time being taken up by my grandchildren duties.

J'ai eu un peu de difficulté mais tout c'est arrangé. Le service à la clientèle ma aidé. Le problème était au niveau de la poste en grève. Pour ce qui est de mon abonnement ils m'ont contacter en français. L'anglais n'étant pas mon point fort.
Maintenant, j'attends les instructions pour l'envoie de mon ADN. Des abonnées de My Héritage ont retrouvés de ma parenté. Il me reste juste d'apprivoiser le logiciel.

The health report was vague. The breakdown of DNA was somewhat disappointing as you group Western Europe and England together. I'm awake if my ancestry back to 1799,1794, 1781. U was hoping just to get at least one generation beyond that but to no bc avail sadly

I was able to trace one set of of my ancestors back to the 7th Century and another to the 10th. I'll be going to Scotland soon to visit some of the places they lived. It all started when I wanted to find out more about my paternal great grandmother after whom I'm named.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
