La première fois je devais cumuler 2 arbres: le support de MyHeritage me l'a fait. Bravo et merci.
La deuxième fois je voulais supprimer une branche complète d'un de mes arbres: la jeune femme du support m'a carrément envoyé sur les roses en disant que je n'ai qu'à supprimer manuellement tous les ancêtres concernés (il y en avait près de 2000 et ça m'a demandé près de 12 heures). Écoeurant.
It allows me to to delve deep into my roots and find family. The main purpose of this is to leave a legacy for my grandchildren and their grandchildren. They say to know where you are going it helps to know from whence you came! My Customer Relations Manager went out of his way and was very helpful and patient as I went through challenges renewing my subscription. I am so happy we achieved that at last!

J'ai pu très rapidement grâce aux ressources immenses de My Heritage remonter très haut dans la plupart de mes branches que ce soit en France, en Amérique ou en Espagne. Mais attention, il ne voit pas les doublons et on peut se retrouver avec de nombreux doublons qu'il ne sait pas fusionner… Il faut donc les repérer et les éliminer un à un, ce qui peut être très laborieux -.

I am doing a research project for my large family. At a point, I was not allowed to purchase any more DNA kits. I kept getting an error message when I tried to buy another set of 10 test kits for ten more cousins. I called customer support, who read from a script, did not know how to answer my question, and then said they would escalate the case to a customer support person who could address the issue. Eventually, someone got back to me. And was not really able to answer the question either. I was left with the impression I was being penalized by the company for having a large family and doing a large family testing project. Which is silly because I am selling ancestry subscriptions at no benefit to myself. Though not advantageous for the company, the key point is that customer service did not know how to answer my question or resolve the issue.
I've always wondered what my ethnicity was it's neat to find out. I really like seeing pictures of my ancestors and learning where they lived and a little about their lives.
I'm pretty satisfied, but I'll mention it again. If I turn down discoveries, why do I keep getting them anyway?
My family is in Denmark, Germany and England. There are different spellings. They don't always need to be corrected. They are correct even if they are spelled differently.
And it is possible to become a father at over 7o. That is always criticized. Please take the person and look it up on Google.
I first went onto My ANcestery and didn t get far on my tree. I needed Europe. I have gotten my tree back to the 1500's on some all thanks to my Heritage. If there is one improvement I would like to see is a search on Invite more family. I have ******* names in my tree thats a lot of looking. Other than that I always tell everyone to do my Heritage as a DNA test. Great program

There is a lot to applaud about MyHeritage. And a few things that need filtering for someone like me. The total amount of information about my maternal line is overwhelming. Many duplicate entries, slight spelling differences, make for a flood of information. It is not difficult to push through it. Yet, it is time consuming; it's a lot! I have liked the occasional pop-up article or photo that is family related. These are great to save (and easy to do so). And they are not as frequent. My maternal information is all in Europe, and MyHeritage has this covered!
I contacted the man whom it was suf ggested in a match and was able to make some great family connections.

Whilst I consider myself to be an addicted user of MyHeritage for years, there one thing which makes me down every time I launch MH.
Having more than 25 DNA sets under my management, I feel the view of current "DNA management" page to become very messy nowadays.
1. There is neither opportunity to sort different DNA sets into folders, nor the tagging option available.
2. There is no opportunity to delete the purchased but lost, non activated DNA sets. I have up to 10 of these kind, they dont deliver the seamless usability in my personal experience.
It would be great if you decide to put some efforts to upgrade this part of the MH, according to my and other active users experience.

It's easier than you might think to enter birth and death dates that clash with the births of children. I have more than a thousand people in my extended family tree now, and Consistency Checker keeps track of all the mistakes entered, so I can go and do research and fix those! Overall, you have a stronger, more accurate ancestry database. This is the goal.
Except for those I already know about, I haven't found anyone as close as I grandparent. However, I found cousins as close as great grandparents and made connection at times with new relatives that are now friends. I have the top level membership, it may be pricey, but worth it. The amount of information on family links is amazing. Add geni.com into the mix, which is coupled with MyHeritage, and the information blossoms! I've been able to expand my family tree to over three fold and it's still growing - that's from about the 35 I knew about. The census records, the marriage and death certificates, newspapers, and all the extras - Fascinating! I jokingly refer to myself as an 'old geezer'. Topping 80, I no longer had the ability to reach out to my parents, aunts or uncles for information. I had many gaps in my family relationships, MyHeritage has filled in many of those gaps.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
