Overall, I am impressed with the smart searches to dig up many different sources, mostly relating to my family tree and helping me build an accurate, complete tree. The suggestions are helpful and a reminder to go in and check out these smart finds and incorporate the info or disregard it. I like the system and the fullness it brings to the table. The consistency checker is also a cool tool to keep things straight.

I upgraded to the Omni plan, because I was told this plan includes Legacy Family Webinars. When I tried to log in, I needed a password, which I don't have. I wrote to Legacy Family webinars, and was told I was supposed to clink on the link. I don't know what happened…I thought I clicked the button.
Since we can no longer speak to a representative, I tried the "contact us" page. There isn't an option in the drop down box, nor is the option in the chat section…and I did not see an option for a call back. I sent a message through FB messenger…no response.
Unfortunately, I cannot locate the email, so I can't even look at it to see if I clicked on the link.
There are a lot of webinars I would like to see…I already missed 2 that I signed up for.
Do you no longer even have 24/7 service?
I really would like to get this resolved asap, so I can take part in the webinars. I specifically upgraded my plan so I can have this option, and I'm very frustrated and upset!
I've been using this website for several years. It has been enriched with thousands of very useful data for finding information like in newspapers. It's a very complete website for tracing your ancestors
I do not wish to keep receiving (monthly) photo matches. Apart from two personal photos, I have no interest in adding photos to my family tree.
Has given me history on distant family members back iinto the 1600's and has connected me with distant relatives that are still living.

I was focusing on my connection with a particular individual in medieval Scotland. Haven't found him yet, but I've gone back to an English direct ancestor born in 1502, and discovered I'm a descendant of the captain of the Mayflower! Also got a DNA surprise: I'm over 28% Scandinavian, probably from Shetland Islands. I was expecting mostly English and Scottish.

Great research tools to find more information than I expected to find about my family history and stories to be able to hear about relatives that were way before I was born and their journey that led to me being here on this earth. Also I'm always surprised on how some of them have similar attributes either in jobs and family that many of us currently have in common.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
