Ich gebe die Daten immer in FTB ein und synchronisiere dann mit MyH. Leider ist die Fotoverwaltung nicht optimal. Sie ist zu unübersichtlich, wo die Fotos gespeichert werden.
FTB müsste mal überarbeitet werden, um es zu optimieren.
Tenía bastante adelantado de mi árbol genealógico y esta aplicación me ha ayudado mucho a incrementarla, la he combinado con archivos de mi pueblo buscados hoja a hoja y el resultado es un árbol que yo mismo estoy sorprendido hasta donde he llegado.
Dokładnie codziennie sprawdzam kto nowy jest ze mną spokrewniony. Po jakimś czasie potrafię dokładnie ocenić od którego z dziadków pochodzi nowy krewny. Super zabawa.
I love My Heritage but have a problem with some of the newspaper etc hints. I don't know how to save them without it asking me to upload and I don't know where or why it does that. I am doing my best and since I am disabled I can't attend the Roots and other classes. I have a problem with multiple things creating so finally called and found out I had to merge a lot of information. I do merge as often as I have time for but there are so many now I don't think I will ever get caught up. Then there is the messages I receive from people asking how and who we are related to and I haven't a clue unless it is something I have been working with recently. I try to find what they are talking about with no luck. So I feel badly that i can't answer them back.
I like using MyHeritage. There is much useful information about my ancestors to be found here. Often this information is not found on other websites. I also like the connection with Geni.
A couple of things that could be improved.
- I am not sure if it is possible toe easily merge duplicate profiles. Is is certainly not intuitive.
- DNA matches shared are only low centigram matches, very distant possible cousins. I have not found them useful for the most part.

My family emigrated in 1783 from palatinate to Austria in the region of Lubaczow. Caused by some occurrences many documents were lost and in the arcives overthere were many defects ( war, fire and water). With Hyheritage I could find about the button "Ahnenforschung" a lot of new for my and about my family.

MyHeritage has done a lot of work connecting me to many people over 400/500 years. I am trusting that the information is correct because I don't know much about my family beyond the 1900's. I have a slight problem that I need to contact the Help Team about, but there are other genealogy enthusiasts to help you. The DNA tests are very informative and fun.
Wanted to learn my late father's background, and while I still am looking to get mare on him and his family, I've been able to track my late mother's family back to the early 1600s (and wish I had known of distant cousins in Germany when I visited there), and also my late husband'd family who came from France before the Acadien expulsion. I'm also trying to trace my British realtives. I'm still working on it. And will be forever, I expect. I like the fact that my sons or grandchildren will have the opportunity to take it over and continue it if they want when I'm no longer around.

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
