Very disappointed about the DNA test. Had I known about the new US tariffs which make the postage prohibitive, I would not have wasted my money buying the test. I wish I had been warned.
I started my family tree to document my relatives and in the process I have not only gone back 5 generations of my family, but I have also discovered several generations of my husband's family on his father's side which is great because his father died when he was a very young boy. So I have been able to put together both sides of our families and this is great for us.
After a very frustrating process of trying to do all the right paperwork to send my DNA kit to the US from Australia, the package was returned to me for some reason. Surely there are other ways of getting my DNA tested without having to go through the US given the current issues and restrictions.

I'm still subscribed to FamilyTreeDNA and Ancestry, but in the couple of months or so with My Heritage I've received heaps and heaps of clear information not previously available to me in constructing my family tree.

I discovered I had two separate accounts on two different email addresses. The task was simple close one and maintain the other. This became an exchange of numerous emails.
But due to the fact that My Heritage does not have a simple phone number to access an agent, nor does anyone return calls, this matter has taken weeks to resolve! I still don't know if everything is correct.
PLEASE HAVE A PHONE NUMBER THAT RESULTS IN REAL PERSON TALKING WITH THE CUSTOMER.
Provided lots of information but I am still learning how to get some of it. I've been using ancestry and it is a bit different so it's taken some work to learn where things are. But, the information I have received seems to have been useful to me.
My brother and I have done a DNA test through My Heritage and whilst it confirmed what we knew it also reveal links to countries that we did not know we were connected to.
I love this site and it helps to connect you with other family member trees. The only thing they don't do is supply govt or church BDM records so that you can be sure dates etc are correct.
Thanks to My Heritage, my tree keeps growing. I have found interesting information on many of my ancestors. I do find the hints on obscure relatives such as the nephew of my 4th cousins father in law a bit much.
I have found more family records and actually made contact with relatives i had never met in person from the other side of the world through MyHeritage, it's been a blast!

Las búsquedas en MyHeritage solo aportan una información muy escueta y para ampliarla te piden que visites otros árboles, solicitas autorización a los tit y muy pocas veces responden. Si pudieran proporcionar una poca de información de la persona buscada y cuando menos una generación de ancestros mejoraría bastante el servicio
We recently paid for an 'Omni' account with 'Stories' added to it. I have been using My Heritage for years working between DNA kits from several family ancestory sites. I NEVER remember being told that each family tree was considered a "site" and that I would need to pay a fee for EACH ONE! I created a single tree for both sides of our family. In order to work more efficiently, we decided to create another tree for my husband's work which was different in order to keep track of things more easily! Now you want to charge me for that as well?!? Ridiculous!
Loved doing all the research for my family. Still continuing to look for my grandparents wedding date. But I won't give up yet.

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
