I signed up for free FAX service and immediately began getting SPAM Faxes. When I called to cancel the account before I got billed, they put me on hold for a very long time and then wanted me to give them my credit card number again before they would cancel. Very bad business model.
This company provides some of the worst technical support, sales support and account cancellation support that I have seen in a very long time in the IT business. Would never recommend this company.
Every time I call in to cancel I'm on hold for 15+ minutes. When I get through to someone, they tell me that they need to transfer me. They'll even give me the correct number to call which is the same number I called in the first place. When I'm transferred, I'll be on hold for another 5 minutes or so when I'm disconnected. Done this three time now, going on over an hour to cancel the account.
This organization is one of two things: The least competent group of people ever to go into business together, or just a gathering of truly immoral moneygrabbers. I have been trying to cancel my account with them for two months now. They continue to delay and defer me, while still collecting payments from me even as I continue to express a desire to part ways with them. But they won't let me. I almost admire the brilliance of it. They are evil, evil people. At all costs, no matter how desperate you are, do not entangle yourself with them. It will take you months to disentangle and right the situation, and you may have to make peace after the fact with having been robbed without recourse.
This is the worst, there are issues with their service and you get transferred to a Customer Service person in India that hangs up when they do not want to deal with the issue. Terrible.
When you give this company your credit/debit card number, they gain a measure of control over your bank account. They can go in and deduct disputed fees from your account and you'll have to close your account to get rid of them. Even if you cancel your card, they can put thru a forced debit. I was charged $87 so far on a $5 plan for wrong-number, computer-generated faxes that were sent to my account. They credited me $50, but the $37 differential was withdrawn from my account. I don't know if there will be additional charges or additional faxes from this wrong number. Do not sign up for this service. You have no control over wrong-number or errant faxes and they charge 25 cents a page for over-the-limit pages. They don't shut down your account when you reach your limit. Someone sent 395 pages to my account in 3 separate faxes -- an account that has never even used 25 pages in one month -- 2 of the faxes were 193-page duplicates. It's not worth it.
This company makes it impossible to cancel! I cancelled on the phone and followed up with emails. They do not show record of my call and refused to take appropriate action from my emails. Do no give them your credit card information, unless you want them to take advantage of you.
I signed up for a free trial with this company. They did not manage to send one fax successfully, and when I asked them to cancel my subscription they refused. I contacted my bank to stop the debits, and they threatened to collect by "debt" using a Collection Agency.
If there is any regulatory body in USA concerning this type of company, they should be banned from trading immediately. They are a shocking, despicable company.
I was looking for an e-fax service and came across my fax. Subsequently, my fax had a 30-day free trial and states that you can cancel before the trial period ends to not be charged. Well, I emailed after using one fax which took several tries before the recipient actually received it and I wanted to cancel. Today, I was still charged $10 although I canceled. I called the customer service number only to be told that I would not be getting a refund. After speaking to a supervisor, he agreed to submit a refund to the finance department for approval which will take anywhere between 5-10 business days. I would not advise anyone to use this service because they make it difficult to cancel and do not seem to be in the habit of issuing refunds when necessary.

It doesn't have correct policy to the customers, faxes never reach their destination, yet they will charge to your account, in my case they did 3 times. $ 30. Although it seems absurd, I think we have the obligation to report these sites and make the relevant claims to return the money that THEY steal from people. Most of us think that it's only $ 10, but there are many of us who fall into the trap.
I cancelled my account early (within the 30 days of free use) and was still charged $10. When I called to find out if the charge could be removed, I was denied. It isn't very good business, doing business this way. I will never use this service again.
Can't comment on their service because I sent just 1 fax which the recipient claimed he never received. This was during their free 1 month trial. They charged me a dollar for that, since you're supposed to save your credit card details with them. I thought that was fair enough since nothing seems to be free nowadays. A month went by and I forgot about them. Next thing I know I've been billed 10 dollars without a reminder that my trial had ended. I cancelled my account immediately and then requested a refund, but they didn't care. As I had cancelled immediately, I didn't even get to use that 1 month. In short, paid 11 dollars for 1 fax!
I never used this service and continued to get billed after calling and emailing. I finally had to dispute with my credit card to resolve the issue.
This company is a scam. They do not tell you that the charge for the time it takes to let the faxes go through. Which is entirely out of your control when calling fax machines and entirely within their control. So they just charged me for over 400 pages, when I just sent less than 70. They charged me $40 and then a random $15 charge too. They are a scam... do not sign up with them. I recommend using Windows OS and hooking up to a landline.
Don't ever subscribe to this company. Their service won't work on part of Canada and they will still continue to charge your credit card. Stay away! As it explicitly say. I have to cancel a credit card just because they won't refund an INEPT service.
Well I've used myfax signed up in the 16th of march and received a bill for $10 on the 17th of march 2017. This service was suppose to be a free trial but it charges you for duration on how long the fax takes to send to recipient. I sent two faxes within the United States both 3 pages in length. I received a message from myfax stating one did not go through I tried again and it went through. But I was charged a duration rate for them sending it so many times. I called and spoke with a rep and they said there is nothing we can do about the duration. I explained I would not have continued to send a fax based on duration prices had I know I would be charged so much. I would have canceled and tried again later. They could not refund me my $10 back. He said he would put in a ticket for reconsideration. Never occurred so I wrote the BBB to see if they can help me get a resolution. $10 may sound as a petty disposition but I don't like shady companies taking avantagw over others.

I signed up and cancelled the account following the procedures their company indicated (as their website indicated) within the TRIAL period. However, the company waited until AFTER the trial period was over to inform me there was another way I needed to cancel - by phone! They said this was in their service agreement (the fine print that was apparently mailed to me). BUT not only was this clearly different what was advertised on their website to email "*******@myfax.com" but also support took 2 weeks to respond. Not only inept but also clearly misleading the only consumers they have!
Signed up for a free trial. BIG MISTAKE. They just keep charging you, no matter what.
I never even VERIFIED my account, so I couldn't even log in, but they still kept charging me. I guess that's how they make their money, by being lousy cheating scumbags.

Answer: It is a scam service, they will not fix your problem, cancel and call your bank for a charge back. They are offering a service they do not provide.
Answer: Because they can. I am sorry if that sounds flippant, but it is the truth and there is no other logical reason for it. Please note that they don't charge by the page, but rather by the minute and they purposely use a very small bandwidth to send pages.
