AVOID THIS ONLINE SELLER!

I've been sold a spare part for an Oztio compressor that is COMPLETE GARBAGE! Avoid this seller and stick with Ebay or Aliexpress! Not only is the a piece of junk, the advertised delivery date was April 16th and the item arrived on the 7th March... This poor delivery time-frame is due to the fact that MyDeal uses the worst Courier service in Australia! - Aramex Australia (formerly Fastway AU)... Do your own research on this courier company, they're service ratings are utterly atrocious.

I bought a 65" TV from mydeal, it's a soniq 4k one. Most of the time I delve into specifications of something I buy but out of a rush, I didn't this time. I instead just scrolled down to product reviews, funnily enough most were 5-stars so I bought it based on that.

I received the TV in 14 days, it was only 30hz in 4k mode (useless for anything but tv, not suitable even for a game console as 60hz is the bare minimum these days), it was advertised with HDR, however it's actually not supported at all (my pc confirmed that), it's merely a brightness adjustment. The audio quality is absolutely terrible. There is lines within black/grey text. LED lights are visible on the bottom of the screen.

I went back to the sale post to look at the specifications and low and behold, it had nothing there. Probably because they know it wouldn't have easily sold that way. Low and behold though, more expensive TV's in the $1500+ has specifications.

As the post title suggested, I originally left a 2-star review on the product that was never posted. About a week later, their mailing system has the audacity to ask for a review, so I added one using that direct link and again, it wasn't posted.

Mydeal will only display reviews that are 3 star+, anything negative, they simply wont post it and moderate it out. How sad is that?!

Terrible website and clearly a money orientated service, i'll absolutely never shop through them again.

Our washing machine broke a little over 3 weeks ago and was purchased 8 months ago. Trying to get service from this company is awful. They needed me to email tons of information. After almost a week, the service tech came out. He was there for 5-10 minutes and told me the washer was perfectly fine. I then showed him the video of the issue we were having and he said he would have another look. He then told me that he needs to order parts and to call to schedule another appointment once the parts arrived at my house. I then received the parts almost another week later and service couldn't come back until another 4-5 days later. He arrived and installed the new parts. He ran half of a cycle and told us it was fixed and left. Immediately after he left, we tried running a cycle of clothes and the issue was absolutely not resolved. I called him immediately and even sent him a video of the problem still persisting and he told me it was too late since he already closed out the service order so now I have to start this whole process over. He didn't run an entire cycle... he ran a partial cycle and decided to leave stating the washer was fixed and then hurried to close the order without the problem actually being fixed. So, 3-4 weeks later, our brand new washer is still inoperable. I took a chance on a brand I hadn't heard of because the Lowes department said it was a good brand and I highly regret that decision. Awful product and awful customer service.

DO NOT SHOP WITH MYDEAL

I would give no stars if I could. Items missing for over a month, carriers tell me MyDeal has to contact them to lodge enquiry, MyDeal just repeats my questions back to me and tells me to contact carriers. One package says delivered and it's not, MyDeal says oh but it says delivered at 3:47am 01/03/2022, I said I bloody know! I just told you that and what delivery place delivers at 3:47am? Allied Express are just as bloody hopeless. I will never use MyDeal EVER AGAIN. I'm out about $500 now. Useless sacks.
Other package has been sitting in Adelaide saying out for delivery for 2 weeks, I'm in Darwin! That's CouriersPlease who just email me my postal address. What a joke. Notice the date of purchase in the top corner.

WARNING DO NOT USE!

The negative reviews on this site are totally true. They are almost setup like a scam website. No quality control and I feel sorry for anyone who's lost money on larger purchases. I bought a fancy ice bucket and it has scratches all over the inside. The seller offers me an $8 refund on something not even worth $8 and could have been purchased second hand at an op shop! There obviously do no screening on their sellers and their practices. I'd never risk buying anything for hundreds of dollars here don't waste your time. Someone should close them down due to the dodgy behaviour.

If I Could Give Less, I Would

One of the worst on-line buying experiences I've had! Required payment up front but nothing sent. After several email (and email contact difficult to find on their website!) partial order sent. Several emails to complain and assurances that rest of order would be sent within 24 hours - of course it wasn't and no email since then has been replied to. To date, I have received less than half my order. Not expecting to get the rest or to get a refund. A total rip off. Scammer had proud of it.

Wow were do I start! Company is a SCAM do yourself a favour and never buy from them unless you have throw away money then do it! It has been 6 weeks I don't have my parcel or real tracking number. The one they sent me doesn't exist. I spoke to TOLL and they said the item has never been picked up from them, $500 later and 6 weeks nothing. Every email response I get is " we will look into it" well how long does it take to look into it! They have time to delete my comments on social media but not enough time to see we're my parcel is!

VERY CONCERNING CONDUCT

I purchased a puzzle through My Deal, believing at the time that I was buying it directly from them. It wasn't until later, when there was a problem, that I realised the item I bought, came from a third party seller. That wouldn't normally cause a problem for me, but when the puzzle arrived to me damaged due to poor packaging, I followed My Deal's process to request a replacement or refund. That was four weeks ago, and I haven't had any resolve to my issue, and haven't received a replacement or a refund, despite numerous attempts. I then did some research into the store the puzzle was being sold by (Get Puzzled), and they appeared to have a lot of complaints from previous customers, so I let My Deal know of my concerns about them, but again, heard nothing back. This company appears to be very, very dodgy, and I would warn anyone thinking about purchasing anything through this website, to definitely think again. It's just not worth the risk. Do your research first at least, to be safe - there's so much public information about companies, businesses and websites that's all free, quick and easy to access online, so do your research first to protect yourself and your rights.

Hit and Miss. Buyer Beware!

MyDeal is very much Hit & Miss with efficiency.
I was very pleased with my first purchase, but had to chase down & submit a case with PayPal in order to receive my second purchase.
I tried multiple times to communicate with MyDeal and the seller of my item, with no response to my emails other than "We have noticed the seller has not contacted you. We will remind them".
Thankfully I paid through PayPal and was able to open a case through PayPal. Lo and Behold suddenly I received communication that they would look into my order. Unfortunately that was as far as it went as, according to the seller, the item was dispatched with Australia Post shortly after I placed the order... my 'tracking number' was invalid.
After another week of no communication, I escalated the issue through PayPal & my order arrived in an Express Post satchel 2 days later. I'm struggling to believe an Express Post item took just on a month to arrive & the timing of its arrival was far too coincidental with the escalation through PayPal.
No customer service. No honesty.
Once bitten, Twice shy.
Buyer Beware!

MAXKON Weather Station Warranty

Purchased a Maxkon Weather Station in April last year. Three weeks ago the Display console developed a fault - portion of the display ceased to function. Have submitted a warranty claim. They keep asking for videos and more photos and provide troubleshooting procedures which are in the manual and already have been done. The unit is obviously faulty. They keep promising to respond in "X" business days, but do not. They are doing everything possible to either delay or default on their warranty responsibility. Dealing with this Company is an absolute nightmare. Please avoid.

If I could I will give less than 1 star

This website is fraud. They sell products from different suppliers and they do not take accountability for any of the defects of the products. I purchased a nearly $500 worth a pool day bed and it was delivered with one crucial part missing. After numerous emails all they offered me a $50 refund which is useless as I cannot assemble the product without the missing part. DO NOT BUY from this website. Very poor customer service. Now my $500 gone waste.

I received a faulty TV cabinet and despite their reassurances of refunds on their website, I have had to involve both my bank and Fair Trading. I even returned the product to them before they agreed to refund in full after firstly attempting to buy me off with an offer of cash which amounted to less than 20% of the purchase price. Outright theft, plain and simple and the quality is appalling. Chinese suppliers offloading their duds and stealing from us. If I could select zero stars, I would. You have been warned.

Bought a 18 bttle wine fridge. Arrived not working properly (temp goes only down to 18 degrees C) I asked for return label. THey asked for video. I send video. They say, they can't access video. I asked again for return label or I would take them to Consumer affairs.No more communications since. I will take the case to consumer affairs. This company is untrustworthy.Do not buy anything from them.

Vacuum cleaner

Do not buy from this business. I bought a faulty vacuum and no one wanted to know about it. Eventually my deal.com told me it was my problem and this fault is due to wear and tear of product and nothing lasts forever. I will never buy from this website again no matter how cheap the products are. Very disappointing!
