Coca-Cola's customer feedback reveals a significant decline in satisfaction regarding its rewards program, which was once celebrated for offering tangible benefits. Customers express disappointment over the shift from exciting rewards to a focus on charitable donations, leading to feelings of frustration and disengagement. Many feel that the program lacks accountability, transparency, and genuine rewards, resulting in a diminished sense of value for their efforts. While the brand maintains a strong presence in the market, the negative sentiment surrounding its customer engagement strategies indicates a pressing need for Coca-Cola to reevaluate and revitalize its rewards offerings to restore customer loyalty.

Need to have better prizes. Coke, you are a multibillion dollar company w/ great partners. Please provide your loyal fans with a wide variety of prizes.
MCR has be down, for me, several months. In the past they have erased my points twice, they did restore them when called; but I simply haven't be able to sign in since May of this year. Each time I call I'm told A) They have changed the website; and they say it in such a way as to indicate that they did more than just 'change' it! B) I must have the latest version of a 'compatible' browser; I'm using the same updated browser I've always used, (either FF or Chrome)! C) I must clear cookies; I automatically clear cookies once a week anyway just to keep my history clean. D) I must be sure to clear the browser's cache; which I do as with cookies. So, according to Coke I 'shoulld' be good to go, right? Wrong! When clicking "Sign In" I'm taken to another MCR page, black screen, with red words, information page where I'm able to select what I might like information on and the ability to type to a virtual assistant. Also, each time I've called, the agent says they are able to click "Sign In" and are taken directly to the SI page; well hell, would you expect them to say anything else? Once I tell the agent I've done all that they require, they turn surly and state they can't do anything else, in a 'I don't care' tone of voice; kind of makes you wonder!? I have tried different computers and different locations, they just aren't playing anymore and won't come out and say so. Does anyone know someone who IS able to sign in?
Since the company knows the problems and the complaints, it obviously has decided to ignore the issues from consumers. It's a free market and they have the absolute right to structure it as they please (however, terrible) and consumers have the free will/ right to boycott Coke products. It's a shame Coke does not take ownership and just tell customers... "we have decided to end the rewards program".
Guess what?. As if MCR couldnt get any worse,... lol it has. The codes on caps and 12 packs has an expiration date, I've saved up thousands of caps and stopped using them until this new site starts and give it a chance before it disappoints me but now all those caps i have are trash (2 trash bags full). I don't know who or what caused coke to do this?. Is it a sociological experiment to enrage thousands. Lol
Please don't waste your precious time for this crappy activity. There are too much restrictions for this website to get these so called rewards. Better don't buy anymore poison from coke.
I had about 30 points to spend on rewards, and I saw that there was a sweepstakes for a week-long cruise. It looked like something fun to win, so I put in my points for entries. Once I clicked "submit", they told me I was too young to enter, because I had to be 21. (I'm only 20). Alright, that's fine, I understand. But after that, they didn't give my points back. They literally took my hard earned points for something that I couldn't even enter in. If my entries aren't valid, then give me my damn points back so I can use them on another prize!
I think it's a ploy to get us to buy more drinks for more points. Coke, you are a huge company, you don't need to be doing shady things like this and trying to pump my wallet so your CEO can enjoy a few extra dollars. Sorry Coke, greed is literally the worst thing on this planet, next to what your drinks do to my body. I'm sticking to water. Bye.
Facebook? Twitter? No thank you. How about 276 shares of KO? How about a decades-long consumer who purchases overpriced 12-packs when they're not on sale? One who used to be called a loyal consumer with over 4000 points but can now only redeem at a bronze level, excuse me, bronze "status" because I don't live on social media? That's insulting and a shame. My status as a customer is determined if I tweet? How stupid! Do I buy more Coke or Cheerwine? Or RC Cola? THAT decision, of putting a carton of Cokes or Pepsi into my grocery cart is what SHOULD drive a consumer loyalty program. MCR is supposed to be, or started as, a loyalty program. Coca-Cola and MCR, you've ventured too far off the path and have lost your orientation.
I won't be voting as the board recommends next time - an upper management that tolerates (maybe even encourages?) the alienation of loyal consumers is not worthy of my support. Actually I don't care for Pepsi but I own PEP too. Their shares over last 5 years have trounced KO. Maybe they treat their consumers better? Maybe I should find out...
Hate Hate Hate yr new site. I lost all my points to the old site. It takes so long to get points now you have expiration dates to lose them. I don't know why you have to change a good thing when it works. Im switching brands to drink
Your site used to be fun. Why am I allowed only one coke t-shirt? My family and friends wore FREE ADVERTISEMENTS FOR COCA COLA. I see that Pepsi stock is more diverse. And Coca Cola Stock is going no where anymore. But pepsi is. When I sell Coca Cola stock to buy Pepsi Stock at a little lower price. I'll buy the "new" Diet Pepsi and just learned that they have a Rewards program. Let's see how "they" treat their clients! GOODBYE COKE. BTW-I do not collect rewards points from others. WE DRINK IT ALL. You offer a Keurig Coffee Pot for a few weeks? Your bought into Green Mountain Coffee and now they are getting beat up. You not only make me despise your site but never thought in a million years, I would stray away to Pepsi in both product and stock. GOOD WORK! MAYBE YOU NEED A NEW CEO to fire all of you! BYE!
Why are you not listening to all the negative reviews you are getting on your revamped program? This program has gone from "not so good" to " bad" to " absolutely horrible" and the management of CocaCola has completely forgotten the generation that grew up in the 1950's and 1960's who have stayed loyal to the Coke brand all these years... now we have to put up with this Twitter and Facebook nonsense and rewards which are rather insulting. Are you brain dead or secretly working for Pepsi?
I'm not sure what the masterminds at Coke were thinking when they redesigned their Coke Rewards website, but I can guarantee you, they were not thinking of the customer. I find the new site cumbersome to use, and more effort than it is worth. It appears that I am not alone in my evaluation. So let's see Coke: Are you going to put the site back the way it was or lose a lot of customers? Your response will let us know how you feel about people who have been loyal for years (in my case 51 years!)
I've been using MCR since launch date, nearly 10 years. The site USE to be amazing. We could enter 10 codes a day (up to 250 points). 1,750 per week, is now 75. WTF? And this whole social media crap is terrible. Not everyone uses Facebook, Twitter and whatever else they try to push on us. All of that is just DESPERATION! Back in the day, if a person liked the site or product (coke), they could promote by free will. Now MCR types random stuff and forces you to promote (silver/gold). I'll give a site a chance for awhile longer. If no changes come soon, I'm gone! I know of a bunch of loyal members leaving.
The team of braln-challenged techies who created your new site and format should be doomed to drink warn, flat Pepsi! It takes forever to load -- IF you can get it to load. I don't "Facebook." I don't "Twitter." I resent to be forced to endure your stupid puerile tactics and your time-wasting processes in order to enter points. Get back to basics! Stop aggravating the loyal customers who keep you in business! (Yes--I'm using too many exaggeration marks
But there aren't enough available to emphasize your beyond-dumb revisions. NO STARS FOR YOU! But I guess I have to give you one just to send this
It takes a lifetime to enter codes now. I also hate the pesky reminder to add twitter and instagram. Please go back to the old site, the new site is 2 steps backward.
I used to look forward to using the MCR site. I dont have twitter or istagram so I can only have a Bronze account. The bonze level had the option to redeem for 2 contest and 2 coupons today. I am a 40 year old busy mom who is not going to be using twitter or istagram so I guess Coke is going to penalize me. What does Coke care about me having all these accounts, free advertising? Thanks for nothing Coke. I used to brag about your program.
Put the site back the way it was! There was no need what-so-ever to bring some BS social media crap into the mix. You've hurt yourself more than anything, lost MANY customers, and FAILED! I'm sure you have a fail board somewhere, this needs to be at the top! We didn't need all this with the status and social media... neither did coke. Coke was just fine. Now you done went and f**ked it all up! Change it back!
I just hate what you've done. I'll never be able to achieve the Gold status. I no longer have positive things to say about Coke. Sorry guys. You blew this big time. You lost so many loyal customers. I don't need Coke anymore.
My computer and connection aren't perfect, but will open any site on the web - almost. I can find and contact a lawyer, read the news, get the weather forecast, use eBay and Amazon to buy and sell, and do all my emailng through Gmail webmail. The exception is that no matter how long I wait, it cannot, it WILL not, open My Coke Rewards.
This website is strictly for fun, and tailored mostly to the under-12 crowd. Who else would take the time to enter an almost unreadable 14-digit code to get points worth a couple of cents? But it is NOT fun when the website will not open except to the very newest, latest, best and fastest technology - and how many kids have that? How many children are being frustrated because they no longer can use something they enjoyed, and how many parents are being inundated with demands for the latest, newest, fastest technology so their kids can enter a code worth a couple of cents? And how many of those parents are responding by saying "We drink NO more Coke in this household!"? (Just the sensible ones, I'd say.)
My Coke Rewards used to have a user-friendly website. It opened a little slowly but OK, and even had a link to click if a kid had any trouble entering his codes. That link went to a page that opened and worked with lighting speed. Now the entire site can be used only by people with the fastest 5% of connections on the planet. It's a shame. Used to be fun - sort of.
I just lost 2,000 points! I was a loyal customer of Coca Cola and now I'm so mad they can keep it. I'm going to drink Pepsi from now in. They lost my information with the new and so unimproved coke rewards deal of 2015. When they started the new deal everything evaporated. And when you call customer service they say you should email them. Then they ignore your emails! So I called and finally got thru only to find out they can't do anything I need to email them. And I'm back to nothing at all.
Tried getting on the site for several days. Finally got on the new site and no I do not want to be linked with Twitter and Facebook for me just to enter my coke rewards. Put in 26 points, then the site started flashing. Unable to put in any more points. The site is hard to navigate just to look at what are the rewards ans sweepstakes. This site needs a major overhaul or just go back to the old format.
Answer: I still buy Coke products... but I've starting buying other brands and now split my Coke product purchases by 50%! If more customers did that, maybe Coke will wonder where their fizz went.
Answer: I'm not sure. I know prior to the change I was getting a lot of emails announcing they were updating the program with new rewards, etc. it seems like they either upped the points on my favorite rewards and/or put more restrictions on point submissions. "Update" seemed to actually mean "downgrade" the program.
Answer: They're arrogant and think that they are too big to fail.
