The items I ordered were made of cheaply produced fabrics and in sizes that were tiny. I wear a 10 or sometimes 12 in US sizes, so I ordered large. The garments I received were marked large, but were extremely narrow in the shoulders and armpit, and might fit someone wearing a 6. There is no shipping document or return authorization and the return process online is arcane. Assuming I would return the packages to shipping sites in Germany and China, the returns would cost as much or more than the products. Which indicates these are made by child labor or slave labor. Sorry I ever purchased them. I'll take them to the homeless shelter and I'll NEVER use this site again!
Clothes are not sized as described. They will not refund your money. Just terrible.
They shipped my clothes to a downloaded address from face book. I told them I wanted it shipped to me at the address i filled out or my card credited. They said it was my fault. It was an old address I lived at 4 years ago. Don't order off of facebook without checking if your personal profile is updated. Apparently, they can use FB"s data when you order. Won't order from them again

I ordered two dresses by the size chart and they are too small so size chart is not true to size. I read on their site they will not pay for return if they don't fit, only if there is something faulty. So, I will not send them back as it will cost as much as the order to return them to China so twice the cost for me. I will not purchase from this site ever again.
I highly recommend AVOIDING MODLILY. I ordered 4 items, costing $113. They charged my credit card right away, but it took a month for the items to get here. I liked 2 of the items. The other 2 were unflattering, so I wanted to return them. The site claims EASY RETURNS, but Modlily said the shipping would be too costly and suggested I just keep the items and offered me a 20% discount. That's $22 to just keep the clothes... and I just suck up the other $44 I paid. Boy, that was an expensive mistake. It would have been a much better bargain to go to the store and pay full price for something I could try on.
I ordered 3 dresses and 1 that they called a coat. I ordered large knowing that they're from China. Big thing right there! Never order clothes from China. I don't know who they use for the models to make the items but all were shaped short and odd. Not one fit. 1 that might have been ok but the sleeves were tight and the pockets were at the breast. Pocket boob dress - real cute - NOT. One dress fabric looks like a raincoat. The fabric on the coat was thin and would be more like T-shirt fabric. Two of them smelled like fuel of some sort.
Ordered a dress from them. Waited a month for delivery and then the tracking indicated the address used was incorrect and that I have moved and left no forwarding address. Not true, I was waiting for the package eagerly. How could they have used an incorrect address when they had to have the correct address to charge my credit card? Then dealing with customer service, it took several email interactions to finally get them to agree to a refund -- almost 2 weeks. Unless you have unlimited time and patience, don't deal with this company. Totally incompetent and lousy customer service. Don't bother using them as it will only frustrate you and eat up your precious time to solve problems they create. Crappy Chinese company. Stay away.
They make if nearly impossible to return items. I received two items and they looked like tents, not at all like the picture. I have spend a lot of time trying to return them and feel like I am turning around in circles. Basically they do not want to accept returns.

I bought two dresses which arrived six weeks after placing the order. The dresses were cheap, didn't look like the photo, and the arm size on the dresses would have fit a person three sizes smaller --certainly didn't fit me. Never again.
Had similar experience to the majority of reviewers, tiny sizes, poor quality, colours all wrong. Basically unwearable and not even fit to donate. Got into an email exchange with Customer Service, who offered replacement products if I posted a 'five star' review on this and two other popular review sites. With no faith that the replacements would be any better, I declined this offer, binned the goods, and chalked it up to experience. Shame, because if they actually did produce clothes matching the photos, they could do well, but the sole intention of this company appears to be to scam people.
These products are so bad and of poor quality! When the products finally arrived the sizes were wrong. The image in the ad does not reflect the product you receive. Stay away from this. It is also very difficult to find and track your order, and you do not receive order confirmations. Follow-up note: After I complained to ModLily (through PayPal), I was offered a refund plus 15% They said that I could keep the clothes, as shipping it back to China would be too expensive. This does not make the clothes any better - but at least they tried. Another follow-up: now they offered to refund only 35% of what I originally paid. I am working through PayPal and hope that PayPal are true to their promise to be instrumental in completely refunding unsatisfactory products.
I too didnt do my homework and was so sad to recive 3 items that not only didnt fit me but didnt even resemble what i ordered both in color or style.
Very disappointed and like others have said it would cost as much or more to mail back to China.

I ordered two dresses from them after my d-i-l looked up reviews. We didn't realize they pay people to write good reviews. First I paid for shipping so it would come quickly - it took over a month. Second, the colors weren't as pictured (the rose was really orange) and third, the dresses were Asian sizing and didn't fit. Every customer service conversation was "be patient" with a tracking number that didn't go past things delivered to an airport in Shanghai. It was when I threatened action that things miraculously arrived. I chalked this one up as lesson and said, "Never again."
Do not buy! Really poor quality. First off all you have to wait ages until it arrives and when you discover what did you order you are not able to return it because Customer Service Ignores you!

I ordered 2 items. One arrived 5" smaller than the measurements on their size guide. The other was stained. Though their guarantee says they will give full refunds on defective items and those purchased due to their mistakes, in truth they only give a 10-15% refund. They will give a 60% refund if I pay return shipping which is about $35 on a $60 order. I will not buy from them again and encourage others to only buy from China through eBay or Amazon so you have a backup warranty.
I ordered 2 items without doing my research on them. I notified them the next day to stop the shipment which had not even been processed and finally received a message that it was stopped. They will not refund my money and I have gone to my credit card company about this site. It is the same as rotita.com, lulugal.com and probably many more. They are based in China, usually don't send you anything or if they do, it's not what the pictures show, they don't refund your money, give you a return address, and not even a working phone number. They are stealing from customers and I can't get facebook to ban these scammers. They tell me to hide ads or block ads. Please let everyone you know to please don't order from any of them and do your research before ever ordering from a new site. I wish I had taken my own advice. They are also using these names: rotita.com, lulugal.com, dresslily.com, rosewe.com and many more.

Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
