I purchased a dress for about $40. When it arrived, it looked nothing like the dress pictured. The material was very low quality, the stitching was terrible, and it smelled like a chemical spill.
I made the mistake of falling for the ad... got my merchandise 5 weeks later and I couldn't believe the low quality of the goods. Tried to return the items... they ship from China so it was double the cost to ship back the poor merchandise. They played "we'll give you 70% back if you keep it" game. Had to let them win. I had no choice. Do NOT buy from them. Material is almost greasy.
I placed an oder over a month ago and am still waiting. On top of it, there are no working customer service numbers or email-even live chat doesn't work! Beware of scam
Sooo for those wondering about this dress... it is not like the picture when you get it. The buttons are actually brown, plus there is no ruching around them like in the picture. This makes it look weird because it appears to sit too high around the neck with it flat. Also, the sleeves are nothing like this. They are long, tight, not as loose as the picture, definitely not 3/4. Plus have buttons at bottom. It's poorly made with loose threads and frayed ends everywhere. The bottom under skirt is a completely different material to the rest and a blue rather than turquoise, so it doesn't match and kind of looks weird. Overall... might wear it around the house, but sadly it's not something I'd wear in public. I bought a truly terrible dress from this site. It looked cute in the photo but arrived after almost a month made of cheap rough paper-like fabric and it appears to be hand sewn (in a bad way). I asked to return it and it turns out they're in China, don't speak much English, and have no policy in place for returns. 16 emails later I am giving up and throwing it away. Really shocking way to run a business.

I never write reviews, but I feel I have to share. DO NOT ORDER FROM MODLILY. When my item arrived 7 weeks after my order date, it was NOT as pictured. I did not expect excellent quality, but this was exceptionally bad. The material is the same as a Halloween outfit bought from a drugstore. The picture shows an elegant draping neckline, and what I received is a tightly sewn neckline that looks like a clown suit. Also, when I tried to review it on Modlily's site, they didn't post it. There are 49 glowing reviews for this garment.
Ordered a dress, it NEVER arrived, I asked for a refund which I never received. Anytime I contacted the company via email about my order they kept telling me it was on its way; it was never on its way. Not only will I never order from this company or any other company that advertises like this, but I will be sure to inform everyone I know about them as well.
I paid for 2day shipping over a week ago and still haven't received my order. It's still in process. I also got changed twice for my order. Don't order from them.
Sizing is just awful, nowhere near what it should be. Trying to return items - they first ask you to give them as gifts to someone else or sell them on or donate to charity! If you refuse to do this then they offered me a 20% refund, so refused this, then they upped it to 40%. I told them I want a full refund so we'll see as I'm sending the parcel back today by courier...
I ordered 2 dresses that were supposed to be shipped within 3 days, but then 1 week later they were not shipped yet. Fortunately, I paid with paypal, so I requested reimbursement. As soon as i did that they shipped the dresses.
The dresses arrive from China, they are cheaply made and don't look like in the photos. They are not in 1 colour, but the 2 layers are in 2 different colours. One of the dresses i ordered was supposed to be in navy blue and it's in purple, with the layer underneath in navy blue. I would never have ordered these dresses. And I will never use this service again.
Ordered 3 sizes larger and still could not wear top and difficulty trying to return it. I would not recommend this vendor. Save your time and your money.

Horrible. Clothes were cute, but the sizing was waaaay off, especially if you are a larger size. The returns are ridiculous. In fact, I'll proabably donate the two things I bought rather than go through their mess and get only 60 percent of my money back. I think this is a true Chinese sweatshop scam.
I ordered a dress online from Modlily on October 31. I have not received the order (today is 12/16/16). I have sent 3 messages and called the company. No response. The only entry when I attempt to track the package is that it was shipped. I will never order from them again and highly encourage others to skip this company based on my and other reviews. Very disappointing.

I ordered a coat, on the advertisement it looked cute. The product I got is awful, not even wearable. Can not ship back since the shipping fee back to China costs more than the refund.
I ordered a dress from Modlily about a month ago. I received an email acknowledgement that my payment had been received, and that's the last I've heard. And good luck trying to contact their "customer service." They list a phone number with an incorrect number of digits, and the links to email or live chat go nowhere. Looks like I've been had. I should have done my homework before ordering from this site, because the negative reviews online are innumerable. I'm spreading the word far and wide to avoid this site.
This company shows up on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Unlike other legitimate online stores, they will take payment immediately and never send a confirmation, much less any merchandise. I placed an order 6 weeks ago & money was taken out of my account the same day. I have never heard from them. Beware. Do not let them continue!
I really liked a dress on the modlily site... but thank goodness I did my homework before ordering it. What terrible reviews... not one good one... well there is on the Web site... lies me thinks. Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
