I would not recommend purchasing from this site unless you want to pay more for shipping than what your order cost or be prepared to wait 6-8 weeks for your purchase! You will need to plan your wardrobe at least one season in advance to make use of your purchase in the season it was designed for!
I wouldn't even give it the one star... TERRIBLE. DON'T ORDER. Save your time, save your money, save your SANITY. I ordered 2 items on November 12. GUESS WHAT...? I STILL DON'T HAVE THE ITEMS. People on here that complained it took 40 days to get their items - consider yourself LUCKY. The "customer service" is a JOKE. You can only submit a 'ticket' and wait days for responses. Even then, no credible info about your order - the tracking - the status of the order.
I've been given FOUR different stories about the "status" of my order.
Finally, today --- they refunded my money. I did make the order through Paypal, so maybe that worked in my favor to get the refund?

I give up. I wanted these items for Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then New Years, was still thinking I might get them for Valentine's. NEVER AGAIN. Taking my refund and doing good ol' fashioned SHOPPING.
DO NOT ORDER. The sizes are incorrect. You can never reach anyone and to return you have to go though many emails. This company is a scam. Do not order.
It is odd you have to pay up front for merchandise you won't see for weeks. Have tried to contact company through their website. No response. From what I have read, I feel foolish for ordering from this company that is obviously a fraud. Live and learn I guess. I will not be ordering from them again.
I ordered an item on Nov 22 and still don't have it on Dec 29,2016. Supposedly, it is "in transit" from China. Tried to send messages through their email service/on-line chat, and the messages always bounce. I hope others check reviews before they order and resist.
I ordered two tops on November 6. My VISA was charged through PayPal on Nov. 8th. It is now December 28 and have not received anything. I emailed the company and they politely told me it was due to "severe weather" that the package was delayed, so please be patient. Two more weeks go by-- nothing. I just contacted PayPal and they said they will refund my money. I hope this is true. R
I wrote another review earlier complaining about the length of delivery... after that I tried to stop the order but there was no way to do so. On arrival it was the cheapest, ugliest piece of clothing I have ever seen. The dye was poorly done. I did not read reviews prior to ordering and learned a hard hard lesson
While I loved the design of all of the tops, dresses, etc. on their site the reviews were horrible. I decided to try three pieces fully expecting they either would never come or be tattered and extremely flimsy. While the order did take about a month to actually process, I have to say I really liked the pieces I got. I'm not sure how long they'll last as they are so inexpensive however they are just as represented on the site, nice heavy weight and warm and seem definately worth the price even if they only last one season.
I tried to order an item 3 times, and each time my payment/order was cancelled due to some unspecified credit risk. I tried using both credit card and Paypal. I make frequent online purchases using both methods, and this is the only problem I have encountered. I contacted them 3 times and got a form response from them saying I should use Western Union. I also purchased a dress from one of their sister sites, Modlily, but the neckline was not what was pictured. Cannot recommend these sites at all.
I was so pleased that my partner treated herself to these super cute shirts that she found on ModLily. She waited anxiously as the days passed by without any word from the company and no package waiting when she got home. :( In the meantime, she ordered 5 sweaters off of ebay that also came from China (but not ModLily) and were great for the low price and arrived within days.
Alas, the day arrived when her VERY long awaited garments were delivered. I walked into her room as she tried on the 1st shirt. Prior to that moment, I thought my partner looked good in anything she put on. I now know that isn't true.
The quality of these things is lower than anything I have ever seen that wasn't a joke or a Halloween costume. These seriously look like reject pieces from an extremely low budget home economics class. "Here's how NOT to make a shirt."
We tried just like others have said and trying to get a refund is useless.
As everyone who isn't clearly a decoy has said, DON'T EVEN TRY MODLILY. They've scored too much money already.
Ordered a dress and a top. The sizes are not true to their chart. The quality of fabric is SO poor and the dress looks nothing like the photograph. Plus it took 3 weeks to receive the products. We'll see if I get the refund which I have requested. Total SCAM!
I agree with all the following reviews - wish I'd read them first. Garment looked great in the picture but after long delay, rubbish quality 'copy' received. Impossible to get in touch with anyone real at the company to complain. All attempts ignored. Message received saying "inbox turned off at source". I'm still getting daily e-mails from them showing great quality items, but wouldn't now touch them with a barge-pole. Isn't there some way of making a formal complaint about them?
This company is in China! Very poor quality. Dress I ordered was beautiful on the site... however it took 7 weeks to be delivered with not even one email explaining the delay. When it did arrive, the fabric was a cheap gauze-like material, totally different color. When I took it out of the bag to try it on, I noticed there were 5 or 6 stains on the front of the dress like food had been spilled on it... disgusting! When I looked into returning it, the process is so ridiculous! I needed to take pictures of the stains. Explain each one... send it back to them, paying shipping costs that I had already paid when I ordered. Then they said they would "review" my complaint and let me know what they decided. Ladies, there are enough good reputable companies in the US to find quality clothing! PLEASE... don't get skammed by this one!
I sent money Dec 2 2016 for two tops. Paid through paypal. Nothing has came. I ask for my tracking number from modlily. Fake number. Customer service number not in service. I am disputing a claim for full refund through paypal.
It has been more than a month since I order and have not gotten anything from them. There is no way to track or contact them! Not worth it. Stay away from them.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I purchased a couple of items I requested a return due to poor quality, but the customer service is horrible. There is no way to speak to anyone over the phone... only correspondence via "tickets" on their website, and they do not communicate well or understand, therefore any resolution is futile. There return policy is a sham because they say "easy returns", but they make you pay for international shipping back to China, which is more expensive than your refund would be. This company has quite a racket going on! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
Don't shop here! Shipping took forever. None of the products were quality, and none looked like the photos on the website. Don't buy here. Feeling ripped off. Bought 4 outfits-- not one is real cute. $100 and have nothing to show for it.

I should have read reviews first. They have soooo many 1star reviews, so I was curious about who would give them a five star review. After reading the 5 star reviews it seems obvious that they were ALL written by non english speakers. Probably submitted by modlily employees forced to rebuttal all the 1 star reviews. None of the 5 star reviews were specific in nature, only glowing praise of the company.

Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
