Horrible experience on an order for Christmas. A coat was ordered on Nov. 21st, 2016 and not received until the first week of January. It was a gift for my granddaughter for Christmas. Then after receiving it the zipper on the inner liner was sewn in backwards. I don't know how Facebook allows them to advertise on their site. It is a Chinese based company. Very poor communications and quality of product. I had been sending messages on the same ticket regarding shipping time and no e-mail regarding a delay and now regarding the quality of the product. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY
The quality is horrible. The clothes don't look like the pictures. You have to return the clothes to China and then they only give you 60% of your money back? That's robbery!
Contact paypal if you used they to pay for items they will refund you $ in scam cases, also amazon has a safe shopper help also for fraud. I am working with both now. I would notify fb about the add there but do not know how to report scam to fb.
I purchased a dress on 11-3-16 for a Christmas party. I started contacting modlily on 12-10-16 because I still hadn't received my item. Tracking number was junk and all I kept hearing was please wait, then they tried to blame the holidays on the delay in shipping. Finally I got tired of it and demanded a refund, modlily only wanted to give me a 20% discount on an item I hadn't received. I filed a claim with PayPal and amazingly today on 1-7-17 my package was in my mailbox, funniest part is the tracking number they gave me and PayPal is not the tracking number on the package. They never shipped the item the first time after PayPal got involved my dress was airmailed out of china.
Despite their VERY slow shipping process, I ordered a jacket for my daughter and a shirt. I checked measurements and sizes on the Size Chart provided. I was confident that I had ordered the correct size. When we got our order (a month and a half later) BOTH item were WAY too small and the shirt didn't even look like it was shown on the picture. When I emailed costumer service, they told me (in very broken English) that all sizes are in Asian sizes and that they run 2 sizes smaller. This was NOT advertised on their sizing chart! When I asked for an exchange or a full refund. They told me that they would accept a return if I pay for the refund back to China IN FULL and I would only receive 20% of my money back. WHAT?!?!?! Very very very very poor costumer service and poor business. I will NEVER NEVER NVER ship Modliy again and you shouldn't either.
They took my money and I am unable to get any information on my order. I read reviews for the product on their web site and all seamed good. But now after spending hours trying to get information, I am reading review on this website and learning that it is a company in China. I ordered once from Zully who is also a company in China, and the size large shirt could not have fit a small child. I was not even able to get it over my head. I too was not able to return because of the cost and restocking fees. I guess I have lost my money again.
I'm so sorry I didn't find this site before I ordered the coat. My experience was the same. The coat looked really cute in the photos. I ordered a Medium - it was more like a medium for super super petite people. Didn't fit across my back. Super short sleeves. It was still cute but it definitely wasn't really well made. So I emailed them - super sketchy. ModLily appears to be one person in China who emails in text-speak and plays games with you to avoid having to deal with returns - plus their website is so crappy, I could only see our history of messages half of the times I logged in. After a lot of pestering and threats, the person agreed to refund me if I handled the shipping to return my coat. It turned out shipping the coat back to China would cost $25 (half the value of the coat). Not to mention, there's no brand on the coat itself. I wouldn't call the company a scam if they only sold their stuff making their sizing very clear and making it clear that returns are near impossible if you're ordering from the US.
The sizes are way smaller than normal. My WHOLE order of many many items $170+ worth is too small. They said I can get $20% off orders, or send back at my expense and have %40 deducted. Lose-lose for customer. I like the designs but bad customer service and for sure tiny sizes. I can't even get my head through one; yes it's that bad.
I saw the ad on FB and decided to order. I placed my order on 12/24/2016. I have issued to tickets to request status of my order. The status is still processing as of today. The response I received from the ticket is I need my account number. Now after reading the reviews I'm learning this company is in China and I understand it will take 2 weeks and not 1-4 business days. I'm planning to write another review when my order arrives.
I ordered2x and the size is for a person that weighs 95 pounds, the color is different than in pic. I am not even going to attempt to return to china, I will give it away, big waste of money
I also caved and ordered from ModLiLy, not realizing they were a Chinese company. It took 2 weeks to receive an order acknowledgement, 2 more weeks to receive shipping information, 3 weeks until the package arrived in the US. That was Dec 7th, it is now Jan 6th, and after attempting to track via USPS, filing two claims (still have not been contacted although they state it will happen within 3 days), and countless email exchanges with ModLiLy, they have processed a full credit (which they say can take several weeks to see on my end). It's so not worth the trouble.
I had the misfortune of finding MODLILY on FB and then sadly ordered.
Don't order from them! Sizing is WAY off. They are in China and use Asian sizing dimensions but label deceptively as if they use most common measurements. THEY DON'T TELL YOU ANY OF THIS WHEN ORDERING.
Even worse they are awful to return to. You have to ship to China which takes forever, is expensive and THEN they penalize you 40% of your purchase for restocking! I had $100 loss on clothes improperly sized and misrepresented.

I mistakenly caved to FB and ordered from Modlily. After the fact (stupid, I know) I read many unfavorable reviews and decided to cancel my order less than 2 hours after placing it. Although they were quick to take my money and process it through PayPal, they are now nonexistent when it comes to communicating the status of my order. 4 email attempts and multiple unanswered phone calls later, filed a claim with PayPal. Save yourself the trouble and don't even take a second look at them.
I also bought on impulse from an ad in Facebook, the item arrived but didn't look anything like the picture, is poorly made, and has thread that looks like fish line sticking out in several places. The company advertises 30 day return policy, but to ship back to China costs more than the clothing purchased.
Like others have said, I made the mistake of a Facebook impulse buy. Modlily immediately charged by Paypal account, but I have nothing to show for it -- no order confirmation, no goods, and no help from customer service. I am going to contact FB to tell them they should bar this advertiser, and I encourage you to do the same!
Dont order from this company sizes are not as the seem I wear an XL in tops their sizes are like 3 sizes smaller my neice size 7could wear my tops when i contacted them about return address they would not give it too me
Don't bother thinking you are getting great clothes for a great price. You aren't and you won't. I paid extra shipping costs in order to get my items before I left for a trip. Didn't happen. And when I finally got the order, not a single thing fit. Apparently their sizing chart isn't compatible with normal US sizes. At this point I am attempting to return my order and I am not expecting a good experience. I should have heeded all of the negative comments on the internet and Facebook.
I ordered a dress from this site on 3rd November and now on the 5th January - over two months later - I still haven't received it. I have contacted their customer service department who keep telling me that it has been shipped and should be with me soon - still waiting! Would never ever order with them AGAIN.
Stay far far away from this company somehow someway they make money sending you items that won't fit, you cannot get your money back they will offer 20% reimbursement when you complain not true to size or quality. You will have to find s 13 year old to donate items to

My payment was immediately taken from Paypal, but never received any kind of notification. If I go to the website, it shows I have no orders. Made a "ticket" and sent that out and get an email back, saying it was undeliverable... DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY... I wish I had done more research... but it was an impulse buy when I was on Facebook. I don't know why, with so many complaints Facebook and PayPal are still affiliated with this scam company out of China...?!?!

Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
