I bought a vintage nightstand for € 1750 including shipping. It was packaged quite poorly (wrapped in foil instead of being packed in a stable box) and completely broke apart during transfer -- I basically received a load of firewood. I returned the item, for which I had to pay the equivalent of € 450 in shipping. And then Modern Living also charged me the import tax on the return of € 360, so I am out € 810 with nothing to show for. They didn't take any responsibility for the poor packaging, I would not do business with them again.
