Was nervous to try out this service, bought a refurb phone from Amazon, unfortunately was still locked to Vodafone. Not a Vodafone customer, so I thought I'd try this. They are a google sponsored service provision, which inspires confidence.
The negative reviews are simply because you do need to pay an additional £26 to obtain the unlock code after the initial eligibility check (lost or stolen etc). However service is legit, unlock code received by email after about 30 minutes.

This is a common requirement for some handsets, especially if they don't ask for an unlocking code.

Paid the first payment for the checks to be completed, then paid the final payment to get the unlock code. It did say it could take a while but within the hour I got a notification to say my code was ready, entered it into my nans phone and everything was sorted!

Contacted mobileunlock by email requesting an unlocking code for Samsung Galaxy A5 with full details of the phone ie:manufacturer's model, imei number, serial number, device age,.
Mobileunlock replied with thank you email and requesting payment for eligibility checks i replied with card details. Mobileunlock replied saying that eligibility checks had been completed successfully and requested card payment for unlocking codes which i did as requested.
31-05-2024 I received email from mobileunlock with the list of unlocking codes and full instructions how to enter codes to unlock the phone.
I carried out the instructions on the phone as explained and everything worked out very satisfactory and phone working perfectly.

This site works. I was a little apprehended when the site initially told me it will take 14 days for the unlock process to complete but, it was all smiles when I got an email on the sixth day that my phone is completely unlocked. The process is easy and everything is done online.

IPhone was unlocked within 15 minutes which was great, made one payment of 11.99 at the start which I thought was the cost but then got another charge to pay to complete the service of 26.00, which I was not aware but it does give you the option as stated the 11.99 is to check the eligibility. But happy my phone is unlocked now..

So I paid the initial fee, approved. Moved on to the unlock process. I was a bit upset it was going to take five days but I just had to wait. However, my unlock was done in less than 48 hours so I was very pleased.
