The process started of ok. When it came to putting in the code it would not unlock informed MobileUnlocks by email with details but never replied.Cost a lot of money for nothing.
Never worked and no customer service over priced paid over 30 pounds and complete disgrace of a company no support at all. And I want a refund.
There was an upfront payment, but after verification, there was a higher second payment that I was initially unaware of. It should be put up front the total cost. It also took 2 days before the phone was unlocked.
I had no problem using this site, very fast and simple. My iphone 11 was sim locked and was unlocked within the same hour.
Paid both my fees and they didn't unlock my phone I contacted customer service and they kept telling me the phone was unlocked even though I kept showing them otherwise
They keep adding charges on were it would be cheaper to purchase an unlock phone. Thaey are SCAMMERS
Not good unlock didn't work, & took a few days longer to discover that.
Used for the speed of service, but wouldn't recommend
Yes, my iPhone was successfully unlocked by this company. However, if not read very carefully, you end up paying over £40 instead of paying the £11 that you may think is the total cost. Seemingly, the £11 was only to find out if the phone was legitimate and COULD be unlocked! Another £30 was subsequently required to do the actual unlocking. At some point, there was a reminder that your phone could be reported and blacklisted. However, there was also suggestion that a nice review would be rewarded by a £10 credit to my card. On reflection, there is a far easier and cheaper way to unlock my phone but didn't think of it at the time. I should have just registered a free PAYG sim and paid for a month on cheapest PAYG, then asked O2 to unlock it free of charge.
The first payment you make is to see if the phone can be unlocked, if passed then need to pay a bigger amount to get the unlock code. When code came through it didn't work, so they ask you to send them an email with the video of you trying, which they don't respond to.
Avoid.
Not good it for longer than you said you said 24 hours it took 40 plus will not recommend anyone to go with you
My experience was good you made it very easy you did all the work which made me feel satisfied
All they did was check the AT&T portal and tell me what I already knew. Then asked for more money to maybe unlock the Sim. I think the positive reviews are form BOTs. DO NOT USE!
The service did what was needed, but a little expensive and the 2 stage approach meant that you didn't know fully at the start what you were going to have to pay.
After initially being disappointed at the time taken to unlock my iPhone 7 (the process took a little over 72 hours), i am pleased that the process has now been completed successfully & I am now able to use my Vodafone SIM in my old O2 phone.
Having the updates on the unlocking page was helpful & there was also a swift response to my initial query, which was also helpful.
Given the success of the process, I'd recommend to others who cannot unlock their phones through old carriers either - just be mindful that the initial payment is for checks & there is a second payment to be made for the unlocking process.
Dear Tim/Judy
Following you last email, I enclose a photo that verifies the phones IMIE that is also printed in it's battery compartment which I sent to you at the beginning of this exercise.
I have since taken a copy of your email instructions & unlock code provided to a local phone shop.
They tried the instructions using O2, EE & Three sim cards. It came up with the same error message as my first SIM.
They told me "if we could not unlock your phone we would give you a full refund", so suggested I ask you for a refund.
Thanks for trying
Kind
Regards
Chris
I dont know it has not been done yet
Initially, after entering the IMEI and phone info on the website, there was a $28 payment request to check the phone for any major issues and or software compatibility. After paying the $28, I received an email saying that everything came back clear, and that I could receive the unlocking codes for an additional $91 dollars. I paid the additional fee and received an email with a link to track the progress. The next day, I received another email telling me that my device was hard locked and the total cost to unlock the phone would be $264 and that I'd receive credit for the amounts already paid. At this point, I became very worried and hesitated before paying. I read through the refund policies which basically says that there was no refunds if you don't try alternative methods but if all methods are tried and it doesn't work then you can receive a refund. So after contemplating for an entire night, I paid the additional amount for a method which required that the phone be connected by USB to a windows device so a technician could finish the unlocking process. It wasn't as easy as I had hoped, but it was not hard either. When I had an issue, the technician was on the line, and immediately walked me through in completing the tasks on my end. Considering that my device was one of the newest models, it was probably one of the most difficult to unlock. It took a couple hours and the technician put in a lot of effort and worked hard on this, so I couldn't even complain. He truly earned every dollar I paid. Despite the challenges, the unlocking service did work, and I was able to use my phone as intended. I was extremely worried during this process, but yes, MobileUnlocks is Legit and works as advertised.
I am satisfied not minding the price, yes it took some time but at the end it worked
The overall experience very good. I was a bit surprised by the amount of money it cost. I was asked for three amounts. All the information given to me worked and the phone was unlocked.
