Total scam
My son asked me to buy this key to download a game he only had £12 and this was £11.37 couldn't find it cheaper after paying they then said they can't process unless I sent 1. A picture of my passport and 2. A picture of me next to my passport which I absolutely stupidly did then instantly regretted it.
Anyways a hour or so later I get the key eager to use it went straight to download but the keys already been used then they ask me for evidence that it's been used my licences error messages etc sent that over for them to say we've sent this off to the relative department to look into it! So I opened a atonal dispute and 8 hours later posted the exact same message that they sent my info off to the relative department to investigate! I called PayPal on the end what a bloody mess and they refunded me. But they still have my into who knows how they'll use it please don't buy from them look at all their bad reviews and some fake ones!
So my friends wanted me to play minecraft with them online, i ordered a mule account, and when i got the email and password, it didnt work, says invalid email or password, mmoga had them send a 2nd account and it still does not work, now they say they will not help me at all and its not their problem, all i ask is for them to contact the seller and have them change the password. All they tell me we can not help you anymore, complete fraud!
I decide to take the plunge and make a purchase from MMOGA. Everything seemed to be fine and the payment went through on Paypal. But they didn't give me my key! I got another email saying that I needed to verify my purchase. At the moment I didn't have my phone so I wasn't able to. I needed to wait for several hours before I could get my key.
They say they are doing this because of recent fraud on their site, but at the moment, it feels like they are scamming me.
They held my money that went through and was verified on my Paypal, and Bank, and would not give me what I paid for until I jumped through their hoops.
They say that this will be the only time I have to do this, but this was a very bad first impression and I will never be using their service again.
They refuse to deliver the order or refund unless you supply pictures of your passport and driving license (which they do not tell you before you have paid). No legitimate seller would ask you for this so defiantly a scam you have no idea what they are doing with this information.
I purchased a game account from them. After payment they canceled my order. I paid with ideal. I had send them proof of payment and confirmation from skrill and they just canceled my order. Afterwards confirmation from skrill no response anymore.
Just yesterday I bougth a key for an early access game and didn't realise the key would only be valid on release.
One email to support and a day later I got a full refund, so I say the support and service is quite outstanding.
Otherweise payment is very easy and delivery very fast. So 5 out of 5 from me.
Keep on the good work
Gave me an incorrect code for blizzard balance, once i told them they asked for my account details so they could put the code in themselves, scammers STAY AWAY took 48 hours to even reply to a ticket.
Sadly, I didn't read the newest reviews here. MMOGA used to have a pretty good reputation, but lately it seems like they're asking for private information from more and more users. Demanding a photo of your personal ID among other things after you've paid them.
A very dubious practice. I have now contacted support to cancel my order. I hope it goes over quickly and I get my money back without having to get paypal involved in the whole thing.
I bought the game from another key-seller instead and am now downloading the game. Btw: I didn't even have to send a photo of myself this time.
Wanted to buy a game key off of this website, and like many other users have already stated, I got an E-mail asking me to send a photo of my ID card/passport/Driver's license and a photo of my bank card with my face next to it, apparently due to chargebacks. Hmm. Wonder why.
A quick google search showed they have been doing the same thing to people randomly since 2015. I immediately made a Paypal dispute and 8 hours later got my money refunded. Lesson learned, never buying anything from anywhere beside the official stores. Stay far away from this website.
I attempted to purchase a code for a game. I had purchase from them once before with no issues, but the second time they tried to cheat me. They charged me, but then demanded I prove my identity by insisting I email them a picture of my photo ID before they sent the code. I was not informed of that requirement before I was charged, and I naturally refused. I was not going give the ability to steal my identity to a bunch of people I don't know. I asked for a refund and MMOGA refused to give me one, in spite of the fact I did not receive the service I paid for. So I called my bank, and after THEY talked on the phone with MMOGA customer support, they refunded me. MMOGA then threw a fit about the charge back and insisted through repeated emails (attached) that I transfer them $20 for the inconvenience of charging back after they realized they couldn't charge the card I gave them. Thankfully, being wary of just such a thing happening, I used a temp card that could only be charged once. After multiple emails, I just blocked the email and moved on. Sometimes you get lucky and get stuff cheap, but it's not worth it to buy from such a fraudulent company.
I have just bought fifa 21 code i got the email saying your order is confirmed and i got the confirmation then they emailed again saying i need id with my face my stupid $#*! done that n 1hour later still no email for the code i paid for so im going to have to go to the bank and get my card blocked so they dont spend my money get a new card and get my money back, full of scam do not buy from her.
Last year I bought a game from them, and after the payment they requested my passport as proof of (I don't know) something. I didn't send any personal data. This year, I bought again a game and after the payment was made, even if was 4-5 eur product, they are requesting again to send "as verification" photos from the passport and a picture of your bank account.
This is unacceptable.
Is just a scam.
Take care of your money and privacy.
Purchased fifa 21 game code, the money came out of my account and I received the email about verification. I was hesitant to send my ID but the price was cheapest I could find and I thought £30 lost isn't the end of the world, so I sent the ID pictures to their email and within an hour and a half I received the email with my code, fifa is downloading as I write this. I would give it 4 stars because they don't make it clear before purchase that you have to send ID but I feel like it needs good reviews as most of them are 1 stars saying its a scam, its definatly not a scam and ill use them again as prices are cheapest going
I got absolutely ripped off using this site!
I ordered a game that was pictured it on an Xbox One background, advert said the game was for Xbox One, only for me to find the game was actually an Xbox 360 game.
I asked for a refund but was told that because the game worked for an Xbox One, it was backwards compatible, and I had used the code I was unentitled to one.
If I had known this was an Xbox 360 game I would not have bought it.
Be extremely careful If you do buy through these scammers as their customer service is non existent and they do not waiver or see you point of view. They even admitted that their advert would be amended but would not provide me any refund at all.
Would not recommend no matter how cheap the cost unless you know you will definitely be getting what it says on the tin.
I've been a victim of fraud and it's impossible to actually speak to someone about it. No answer to live chat and emails
I'm using mmoga for a long time now. I saved a lot of money because I bought my PSN cards over this site and I was actually very happy about it. Then about a year ago I ordered again and received an email about verification due to some guys using stolen PayPal. At this point I already used this site for years and I'm just a nobody so if someone wants to steal my ID Infos I don't care. After an hour my order got delivered and everything went as usual. Today I ordered again and they wanted a verification again. I don't think that they want to sell your data or $#*!. They are just scared to get sued again for accepting PayPal without verification. If people would stop to steal other peoples PayPal accounts this wouldn't be necessary. If I order something online I need it Right away. Can't way hours so sadly this was my last order.
Ordered a gamekey here, then they wanted me to verify with id and face photo, which I declined.
Then I got an e-mail saying they could complete my purchase without the verification, so I thought sure let's try this.
So, I received a key, but it was already used, and then the real $#*!-show started, they just kept asking for screenshots...
Screenshot of the code not working, screenshot of my game library, after that I had to contact Steam support, asking when the key had been used, for a screenshot of the ticket and their reply.
This whole process took over a week, and of course, after I had already paid them.
It doesn't even feel like you're buying something, but more like an inquisition.
Usually companies just send you a new code when it's not working.
Their support is just a bad joke too, no support for the customer here, they just wanted to find out what happened to the code for their supplier.
Finally got my refund today, after 9 days of waiting after they delivered the non-working code.
So yeah I've learned my lesson, never will I be purchasing something at MMOGA again.
I was recommended this website by a friend to use instead of waiting for steam sales. As soon as I registered, it asked for an address which is fair enough, but as I proceeded with the order, paymentwall requested that I show my national ID?!?!? I'm buying a game here, not gonna completely doxx myself for that. I closed the tab and received a refund within a few minutes. That should have been the end of it but now I realized that I cannot delete my account, leaving me wishing that I never gave my personal info in the first place.
I purchased rainbow six siege and when I did I got an email saying I need to verify cause of fraud and all that. So whenever I try to call the number they gave me to verify, it's just silence and now it won't let me verify.
I Preordered a game from MMOGA in late March 2020 and in mid September 2020, I was informed MMOGA was not going to be getting the version of the game I preordered in stock. Now MMOGA will not refund my money for the purchase instead only offering a merchandise credit as the preorder was placed more than 180 days ago. I would recommend not doing business with MMOGA as they do not stand by their preorders and will refuse to work with customers to refund purchases for game versions that are no longer being stocked by the MMOGA
