Ok ok, so I knew going in that they charge duties and taxes but I didnt expect it to be half the price of the items. Im reading one thing saying they got charge 25 for $80 then I read elsewhere, they got charge 60 for $90. So I was of course nervous for mine. When time came for me to get that email, it was fricking half price! So I paid 31 for 63 dollars of stuff. Stuff that I could have bought at sirens or urban planet. Or if I want to do online... tobi or boohoo or forever 21. Even fashion nova didnt charge me! I wouldnt be crazy upset if the items were amazing but they didnt even live up to the hype. This will be the last and only time. I think it might be worth it for the USA girls :)
I live in Canada so shipping is either one of two things. Or both.
Its either: 1. Super expensive or 2. Takes way too long.
Missguided happened to be both.
I paid for express shipping, and the company that they use for shipping charges A LOT for customs in Canada. Even though I paid for express shipping, the company they use sent me an email for paying my customs and duties fees, which was sent to my junk mail, so it had sat there about a week and a half and I had no knowledge of even getting that email, since every other company I have ever dealt with, makes you pay for that when the package arrives at your door. But what they do, is hault your shipment until you pay it. My order was only around 55$ CAD and I had to pay around 23$ CAD for customs and duties which is ridiculous ontop if what I paid for shipping already.
The sizing is also super inconsistent, it either fits perfectly, or I could fit two of me in it.
I have been waiting over TWO WEEKS for items that I ordered over 16 days ago. I needed one of the pieces for an event, so I ended up having to spend more money on a new outfit. Not only has it not arrived on time (I'M STILL FRICKEN WAITING FOR MY CLOTHES), it was sent BACK to the UK after sitting in NY for an entire week. This experience with missguided has been absolutely miserable, and I've ended up having to spend more $$ because of their unreliable delivery service.
I ordered two dresses last week and was really scared after reading these reviews, but everything worked out great for me. Both dresses were good quality and came in five days with the normal shipping. I didn't think they my dresses would come in after looking up company reviews, so I actually DM'd MissguidedUS on Twitter and they were super nice and quick in their response and assured me my order would come in on time which it did! Super happy with my clothes and everything about the experience.
REALLLLLYYY sh***y company. I ordered something with plenty of time for it to get here before coachella and now coachella is a day away and it's still not here! Customer service just does not exist with this USELESS company.
I bought things from the Madison Beer collaboration and noticed that they dropped the prices of some of the items I bought. For example, the blazer dress was $102 USD on launch day and now its $85. I contacted them-Missguided refused to make a price adjustment or offer a store credit. Its quite shady to overcharge those fans/customers who bought things when they first launch.
Love their clothes.
Read the all the terms and conditions before you buy. Missugided is pretty clear that there are duty charges due if you are in Canada. Even with duty the prices are great.
They have a good return policy too. Not sure why people are complaining.
Before i began, i live in the US. Missguided has horrible service. You should never pay for express shipping because you'll be paying extra for no reason. You will not get your refund, and when you address the issue that you have with your order, they will hurry and disconnect with you through live chat. Ohhhh yeah, they dont have an actual real phone number, ONLY LIVE CHAT! This company is a SCAM and i have the messages to prove it. I had screenshot the messages. I will be uploading it on all social media platform. The guy didnt even give me the chance to respond back to his message, and told me that he was getting offline because he did not see that i active. I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF READING THE PREVIOUS MESSAGE THAT HE HAD JUST SENT!
I placed my order two weeks ago. I contacted missguided several times and they always say the same thing: contact the courier yourself. They don't care about their customers at all. I still haven't received my package and the courier does not have a number from the US and no one at missguided wants to help me track it.
Oh Missguided... i have now ordered twice from the website, and sadly i dont think i will order again...
First, the clothing items i bought were all of amazing quality! So Im 100% satisfied there. Great styles to choose from, and prices are great!
If you live in Canada BEWARE! Duty charges are just astronomical. On the most recent order i made, i spent $289 Canadian, including tax and shipping. I placed my order on March 5 and received it today!(March 8). I paid extra for express shipping, which was 1000% worth it! But i got hit with a $100 duty charge! So crazy... missguided i love you, but that type of charge is just insane
I placed an order, which did take a while to receive. But once I got my order in I loved the quality of the clothes and they were super cute. I would recommend this website solely based on the price and quality, but if you are expecting your order to come in quickly I would recommend looking somewhere else.
Missguided shows a huge lack of accountability and care to their customers. After having a very difficult time navigating the awful courier they used (UPS) they would only offer me a 20% discount on my next purchase, after failing to meet their delivery deadlines, resulting in hours of wasted time.
I have shopped there frequently in the past and never will again. The customs fees are also astronomical if you need anything delivered to Canada.

RECEIVED A GIFT FROM MY DAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS. THE DRESS WAS DELIVERED TO MY HOME ON DECEMBER 6TH BUT I DID NOT OPEN IT UNTIL DECEMBER 28. I THAN WENT AWAY ON VACATION. THE DRESS IS TO SMALL AND NOT MY SIZE. I CONTACTED THEM VIA TWITTER AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT I WAS PAST THE 28 DAYS (BY LESS THAN A WEEK) AND THEY WILL NOT LET ME EXCHANGE THE DRESS FOR SOMETHING THAT FITS ME. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, SO NOW I AM STUCK WITH A DRESS THAT I CANNOT WEAR. ALL OVER 30 DLLARS AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING BACK! IF THEY HAD ANY BRAINS IN THEIR HEAD THEY WOULD THINK HEY MAYBE SHE WOULD SEND BACK DRESS AND SPEND MORE MONEY THAN WHAT THE DRESS COST . TERRIBLE BUSINESS.
We all know custom fees are a given, but did you know when your complete order is under 100.00 delivery in you dont pay custom fees under 100.00 purchase. I order on Asos.com (U. K based) always order about 80 in total and will do multiple order to avoid anyyy custom fees. How do I order 70 dollar in total purchase on Missguided and I pay 29 dollars. Some way that they are shipping is causing this huge change that I neverrrr ever had a problem with international sites but this one. They have to change their shipping costs and not have people pay way to much so they save a buck. Great clothing items but horrible shipping. I wont purchase again, its a principle they can ship items where we wont suffer but they dont
Customer service is awful and the chat is terrible. It's weird that they don't have a phone number to call them, which should have been the first sign to NOT trust this company. I have been waiting over a MONTH for my refund on a faulty product. I will NEVER spend another dollar on this scam of a company. Cheap material and horrible customer service
Like other shoppers I shop early for the holidays -I ordered a coat for a Christmas present for my daughter on 11-22-17 -they do not -I repeat DO NOT offer any kind of refund if opened on Christmas -the worst policy for online shopping - I will never shop here again-stuck with coat that doesn't fit her at all. No return for smaller size, no refund and no credit. BAD BUSINESS
I love this company and have never had a problem - I have ordered at least 10x and their clothes are always amazing, unique, and flattering. Obsessed with this site. I live in US - not sure where these bad reviews are coming from? They usually have 50% off, which is awesome.
I ordered from Missguided for the first time on 11/29/17 and received an email the very next day to say my package was on the way to me in Canada (tracking no. Included). 5 days later I came across this site only to read the awful reviews which I wish I had read earlier! Immediately after reading reviews about duty fees, I found a similar email in my junkmail from EzClear requesting duty fees in the amount of $41.79 CAD on a $100 CAD order (see breakdown below). Initially I was just as pissed as everyone else, but honestly, I absolutely LOVE the fur coat I bought off the website so I was not as mad when the product came in 8 days after purchase. I just wish I wasnt hit with such high fees. Probably wont order again.
For anyone who wishes to send their complaints to the company: *******@missguided.co.uk I am told they are then passed on to the complaints team. Maybe with enough complaints theyll go back to their old business model which according to other reviewersapparently worked better and omitted any extra fees.

I genuinely believe that this company should not be able to sell to people in the US. I was told by several friends to watch out (indicating they had the same experience) but wanted to see for myself. On November 23rd I placed an order with 5-8 day shipping. It has now been two weeks and I contacted the mail carrier and the company several times and the mail carrier said they never received the label (though they can tell it was created). I wanted to cancel my order since the event for which I purchased the items is rapidly approaching and it's clear that I will not have my items. To contact the company, you need to contact them on social media. They stated a one-hour reply time. It has been four days, with three follow-ups. Not having a phone number is absolutely bizarre and I'm planning taking further action soon.
