I specifically chose the option to "check out and send later", and somehow all of my invitations were sent out automatically with no additional notice or confirmation before this was done. I contacted customer service multiple times through phone and email and got the standard "we're sorry" responses and a rep who told me that I should make sure I proofread my invitation just in case and that there would probably be no other issues with this product. Not helpful at all.
Do NOT trust that ANY of their products are accurately customizable. There are no words for the amount of run-around I have been given by this company. Poor customer service is an understatement. We were promised on multiple occasions that the custom colored products to match our wedding invitations would be possible. After one shipment that was not delivered at all, a reprint, MANY phonecalls, countless emails, and chat transcripts, we simply cannot get our products to match our wedding invitation suite and bridal shower invitations. I will never have the experience of a neatly matched theme or the vision of the decor at my wedding that I was committing to when I spent nearly 500 on my first round of paper products. As my invitations have already been sent, that is an experience I cannot get back. Save yourself the headache and go with a truly professional and customizable company such as WPD or vista print. Reviewer Nichole put it best when she said "You are sending out subpar stationery products for a once in a lifetime event and are most likely dealing with high emotional and financial stakes.
Unfortunately, she had the experience beforehand to not order her invitations from you. I did not. Now, I cannot unsend mine or retheme by event. When I look back on my detail photographs as other brides do I will only be able to think of how infuriated this company has made me. Shame, shame!
Avoid minted.com. They make mistakes in your order and then you have to wait 24 hours for them to fix their issue. Their customer service line and online chat agents are completely unable to help.
They printed their logo on every envelope of our wedding invitations despite not showing it on the proof. Who wants that? I'm not buying your product so I can advertise your company to my family and friends. It's an under-handed, deceptive tactic that I absolutely don't agree with. I'm heartbroken, stay away!
I ordered 6 different sets of Classroom Valentine Cards for my grandchildren and spent almost $100. Two out of the six sets came in with a problem. One set was not personalized as I had ordered. On another set of cards, the personalization was not set where it was designed to go. Not only these issues, I got a mix of bright white and off white envelopes. So one set of cards had mismatched envelopes. I called and they were very kind to correct the order. When I got the "corrected" order, one set did not have the backing design which I originally ordered and paid for. I once again contacted customer service and was told that they had no record that I had paid for the back design. The custom service rep obviously did not take the time to research my order or they do not keep very good records of orders. IF THEY CAN NOT HANDLE A SMALL ORDER OF VALENTINE CARDS, HOW IN THE WORLD CAN THEY HANDLE AN ORDER FOR SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT LIKE WEDDING INVITATIONS.
We ordered or Save the dates and they came out perfect! I love the quality of work. We are planning on doing our invites with them as well and I have no doubt we love it too.
I like a lot the designs Minted offers, and I was satisfied with the paper and print quality before. That's why i thought i can use them for my wedding invitations. The difference is that wedding invitations "require" the review of a "professional" designer, which I thought was a plus and gave me even more confidence.
After selecting a wedding invitation design, I worked on the editing until I was satisfied before I placed the order. The website and the editor are great. However, the proof for review I received short after was totally different to the one I ordered: font size, font styles, position of the text, case... just everything. Yes, there is a system of review and change request which again is technically very well done, but requesting all necessary changes would take forever. And why should i do it since i already sent them my design ready to print?
I tried asking for a new proof which is similar to the design I submitted, but it was impossible to make anyone understand via e-mail or chat. They would just repeat the same thing: sorry, you have to do the changes through change request.
We are at the 3rd revision, and I assume we will have at least 4. It is so inefficient and such a waste of time, that i can never recommend Minted. Besides the unrequested changes on the card proof, the other errors on the cards show that there are no professionals behind the graphical design review.
I purchased a save the date from minted this past month. The cost was excessive but I really liked the design. My bridesmaids wanted to get my bridal shower invites from elsewhere but I had my heart set on matching my save the dates and would-be invites. I agonized over editing the design to make it perfect. There was no logo printed on the design as I was editing it. However, when I received my proof I was told there had to be a logo on the item and they would not remove it. The logo ruined the aesthetic of the invite that I was very excited about. The result looked flat out strange. The explanation was that all items related to wedding have the option to remove it but bridal shower invites don't count (what?). As a customer who is spending a premium, who was in the process of spending $600-800 dollars on a product, I expect to have the option to edit the design to my liking. Additionally, I found the customer service team to be painfully condescending. They listened to my legitimate complaints and responded by talking to me like I was a toddler. They didn't give any real answers as to why decisions were made, and who made them. I don't understand why minted cannot trust word of mouth referrals like so many other companies and insists on putting an unattractive label on an invite. Why when someone has a very specific request and preference, can't they honor that? The situation should have never come up in the first place and was handled poorly by the staff who I interacted with.
Ordered a print and was asked to select a frame type. I selected a frame and finished the order. When the order arrived there was no frame. I called and was told that a frame was not selected. I asked aboutthe price and oh the frame was not included. So I paid $71.00 for a rolled up print with no frame. What a rip-off. I won't use Minted again.
I customized and ordered wedding invitations online at Minted. Huge selection, great prices, quality products, and could even chat online to get help. Very highly recommended!
I purchased my save the date cards and Christmas cards through them. The quality is outstanding, and the design process is really easy. Very unique cards with high quality paper.
Answer: I was trying to do that but couldn't get an answer or find out. I would say no, not possible. I order a bunch of holiday cards, cost almost $300 with pre-printed addresses. 3 weeks, still waiting.
Answer: I couldn't find that. I ordered 100 holiday cards. Cost approaching $300. Been a few weeks and have no real delivery date. Today is 12/22. Oh well, they will be new years cards instead
