Canceled 365 because I no longer need it for my kids, but instead of canceling they billed me a second time. I called back to get this fixed, was put on hold for 30 minutes, then hung up on. Still not reimbursed. I guess that Microsoft can get away with anyting.
I try to play games with friends, but it says it has to be connected to my xbox. So then I try to get my xbox connected. It asks me to buy something for 14 bucks when I've already bought the game. I say no. It says you need to put in a pin. I can't remember it so I try to reset it. It says go to microsoft account and find it in settings. I go onto microsoft account and there is no settings button. I look for an hour trying to find one, but can't. Then I try to call online but I get dumb chat bots that say something like, "Would you like to reset your password?" I say no I need to reset pin. They say, "Okay, give us a call at this link" the link takes me back to the website where I was sent to get this dumb chat box. It's been an hour, I don't even want to play with my friends anymore. I think I finally got it setup so we could play together, but they lost patience and are offline. So I'm not even sure if the problem is solved or if I've just wasted all this time to try and figure it out. Get a better website. You're trying so hard to make it accessible that it is not an accessible website for normie like myself. I'm frustrated I'm mad, and have had an overall terrible experience.

First i buy their dvd player which only worked with A SUBSCRIPTION AFTER I ALREADY GOT IT. Then when the subscriptions up i cant watch movies without paying monthly or download another DVD player which needs my password i don't have and they wont let me use the email i already have attached to the coun. Today I logged onto my account and noticed the add-ons from my games were no longer ger there. It was telling me I never bought them. I called Microsoft and microsoft told me all my add-ons had been transfered to someone else's account. Microsoft said it was a glitch and microsoft can't do anything about it. I mention that Microsoft "glitch" is legally called theft. They transfered me to a supervisor and the only thing the supervisor said was Fck Off, and then proceeded to hang up. If this is where Microsoft xbox live has gone too, It's time to BOYCOTT MICROSOFT! Mr. Elon Musk, we are waiting for your OS to come out. The people are done with Microsoft.

I ordered a product off of this site I put my new address in and after it went through it reverted back to an old address. It took 11 calls to finally get through to someone to make up up for their mistake and they said it wouldn't be sent out that turned out to be a lie and it was deliver to the wrong address. Customer service was basically useless

My new tablet has epic failures where is makes some strange noise and flashes a message on the screen that it needs to restart! The last time it happened the screen went black and showed the Windows logo and nothing that I did would turn it back on. When I went to seek tech help it said to hold the power button for a full 20 seconds to power it up, I did and everything went dark. Thankfully it came on again when touching the power on. My brand new keyboard has issues with the N key making it impossible to type without misspelling most words. Customer Service is the worst of any company I've ever done business! So much time spent on the phone and exchanging emails on Thanksgiving and had me in tears. I just now tried to take a snipet (screen shot) to add to this review and I can't because Windows 11 has some ridiculous feature that expands tabs that are open to appear as a small screen opened on top of the one you're viewing! Who designs this stuff! I'm so angry right now I would love to throw their products in the garbage but they're brand new!
So I ordered an xbox bundle and it gave me a shipping date. The date came and went, and nothing. Fedex doesn't have the package. Microsoft sent it, allegedly. No answers, but they 'escalated' it for me and have no problem keeping my money while giving me no answers. Not even a gift card for games or anything either after nearly 30 minutes online with their agent trying to figure out what happened to my order. My recommendation: If you want a console, don't buy it from Microsoft. Go find one in person somewhere instead (or go PS5 instead).
Will never use them again. They told me they could stop the shipment to my old address and they sent me a a new xbox to my current address. Well when I talk to the the next day they said they could not stop shipping to the old address. Well long story short i had to pay for 2 xbox and only have 1 because they lied i will never use them again AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

I needed the Microsoft Suite of applications for my new computer. I paid what I thought was a premium price for a premium product. However, the setup wizard kept referring me to the App Store to buy the same product. I already had the code key and paid for everything. When I contacted Microsoft for help, I was directed to a website where I had to pay a fee of $46. I gave this a try and the Microsoft technician's email suggestions were not working. When they requested another $39 for more support, I had had enough. After several hours, I was able to download on my own. I do not understand why the set up wizard did not work on a new computer. With any future computer purchases, I will try other applications as Microsoft Office is too expensive when the set up is so onerous.
For 2 days tried to get ahold of a live person to no avail. So inhumane. Sorry excuse of a business. And I don't even have an account with them, very sad and angry person here. Can't do anything about it except this to try and put the word out.
I created a Microsoft account for a game I was playing about 6 years ago. I would purchase things to move forward with the game. Microsoft ended up charging my card for some Microsoft 365 personal subscription. I have no knowledge about what that is even for. They charged me once last year and once this year. The website makes it impossible for a refund or help with the issue. This was a huge turn off for me. I will never use Microsoft again. I had to close my bank account out so they cannot charge my card. I still have no idea how to close out my subscription I have never used or know how to close out the account as well. Sneaky way to make money off people.

I have owned and/or plaid different games on ALL of the different Xbox consols and every single one of them have a horrible issue with over heating way too fast then making a scary and loud sound then freezing up and shutting off during important times of the game then you end up having to do everything all over again. You would think after making so many different consols this issue would be fixed but nope not at all. So the personally i will not be buying your products anymore until this issue is completely fixed. No consol should over heat like that after only an hour of playing. Most of your games take a lot longer just to beat 1 mission. So where is the since in that?

Answer: Well my first impression is I'm surprised you say you have a college degree. You didn't mention if it's a BA, or BFA, but either degree requires the ability to spell and use grammar correctly. This isn't a school room, but for a college grad to post their thoughts on a public forum that is at a high school level is (if you are a college grad), a sad commentary on our educational system. As for Microsoft being garbage, I do agree. It started out great and Gates encouraged employees to think outside the box, try EVERYTHING and give the product's organization feedback, which made the company number 1 with office software. But, starting with Steve telling employees it's a "terminable" offense to have a Rim phone, makes no sense. But that's the philosophy now, under no circumstances Challenge our products. Don't give us feedback on our app's, just tell us they are better than anyone else's! I remember when MSN pushed Microsoft employees to go to their internal site that has MSN on one side of the UI and Google.com on the other side. The purpose was to CHALLENGE MSN. Try both together then forward your thoughts. The intent was 1. Let Microsoft know where MSN lacks so that 2. They could make it GREAT. Unfortunately, many versions later MSN didn't figure out how to make an awesome search engine and Google is still the King, but that's how Microsoft became great, Challenging their products. Now they're really losing credibility and the public is pivoting to Apple and Open Source.
