Why are you taking advantage of Black customers with your inferior, over priced products? IF in fact you are a Black owned company, SHAME ON YOU! ALL of the items I received from Melaninful.net, in pieces and in slow delivery, were cheap looking and cost too much. In exchange for a $85 wall hanging, blanket or beach mat misrepresented and sold as a rug, I was offered not a refund but a $10 t-shirt as a means toward customer satisfaction. How absurd it that? If you are a potential shopper, one word, DON'T! They claim to be in Detroit but their website lists no phone number nor address and communication is via an email personality only who goes by the name "Tashard". Find a Black owned company respectful of the Black community, our pride and our dollar! This one seems to be playing on those very emotions. And/or expectations. VERY Disappointed and Dissatisfied. NOT Recommended! Let PayPal or whoever is your source of payment of your displeasure with this company.

If you are expecting real wax fabric then look elsewhere. I have been to the motherland and I have real wax fabric dresses, shirts, skirts and pants made for me by an African tailor. I was expecting real wax fabric. My fault for assuming. This is just that stretchy polyester material with a wax Ankara fabric print. The sewing is done well but I would not buy it again for that price it is being sold. This is something I would buy for $10 at Ross Dress for Less. Also, it is coming from China so I highly doubt this is really a black-owned business. Also, China makes soooo much cheap wax fabric so they could have used real wax fabric easily. I bought an African inspired skirt on Amazon.com and it was super nice and they used real freaking WAX African print material. This melaninful.net product was definitely NOT worth the sell price. I bought it for $30 and now they are selling it for $45. I will never click on an Instagram advertisement again.

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing with this company, In fact I purchased a t-shirt before and was pleased so maybe this company is different. I question whether or not they are black owned given their products are made to order in China and took a month to be delivered. The dresses I received look nothing like the picture and do not match the description. They look cheap and are not made of cotton. Of course they cover their asses by telling you to make sure of the color and size before ordering because you can't return. Now I'm stuck with two dresses I will never wear.

I ordered four hoodies, waited a week with no communication from seller. I emailed them and they said "
All-over Hoodie is a complicated product. We have to separately print different parts (front, back, hood, sleeves, pocket); and then sew them all together. As stated in the product description, since it is handcrafted for you, please allow 7 - 10 business days to get the tracking code and 2 - 4 weeks for delivery in total.

At this point, your items are being made with love and care. So do not worry! "

I waited and later received another email 4 days later with a tracking code saying my product had been shipped. I check the link with FED EX tracking code and it said tracking number could not be found. I figured ok, maybe the system hasn't updated yet I'll check back tomorrow. I check again the next day same thing. Now I'm upset and suspicious so I email them again. Saying
"I haven't received my package and I can't track it using the tracking number was it returned?"
Their response... "As I have checked, your item has finished delivery by SF Express. Please check your mailbox, or contact your local post office or SF Express if necessary. You can see the tracking here: http://www.sf-express.com/us/en/dynamic_function/waybill/#search/bill-number/*******448

Ok so, first off the first tracking number was FED EX now this tracking number is SF Express... how does that even happen?
Second... I live in Seattle. This tracking number (which I doubt is mine) says my package was delivered to Los Angeles. I like how they try and throw the post office and package company under the bus washing their hands of the situation. $#*! these guys... don't buy from them I filed a complaint VIA paypal hopefully i'll get my money back.

Emailed the site regarding legitimacy of "black owned" to get more detail as in are their products made in America. They would not give a straight answer only canned responses like "we have many different fulfillment centers all around the world. Some products such as classic shirt, canvas are made in the USA, while some complicated products are made by international fulfillment centers". The amount of time it took to receive 2 out of 3 items are received I can guess these came from China sent to Detroit then mailed to me (cost makes sense now). The items seemed to be pressed on graphics where you can make out a square where the screen was pressed. Items are definitely overpriced and not worth the super thin Gildan shirts/sweatshirts they're printed on. I should have read the refund return policy first as they do not accept them as a "made to order" business.

This is extremely disappointing as trying to support the black community you are faced with fraud and low quality items like this. Whomever does their digital graphics for the site deserves a reward because the clothing looks nothing like this.
