MeetMyAge is an incredibly insane waste of time. It's definitely not worth the $30 discount sign up and especially not worth a $60 automatic renewal charge. And, apparently, it is packed to the gills with AI chat-bots.
None of the "women" I met, who have *initiated* contact, want to talk about themselves, but they do want to hammer you with questions. *Every* time they reply. It's like a police interrogation under a 250w spot light. And they all ask pretty much the same questions.
None of them even want to entertain the possibility of meeting for even a simple cup of coffee with no strings attached, even though they supposedly live in the same town as you. The excuses range from "my schedule is too busy" to "oh, I prefer to keep it light and continue chatting"
All of them repeat back what you just said, all though not verbatim
All of them would prefer to chat endlessly, without any clear goal of establishing anything but more chats.
Their icebreaker questions are awkward & clumsy - I'd be embarrassed to open a conversation with most of them. The in-site notifications annoying and interfere with any "conversation".
I have NEVER seen anything as patently FAKE as this one. You have to cancel with either an email or a phone call - I emailed, so as to have records. Make sure you ask for written confirmation and block your card from any future charges. Canceled after 4 days (don't ask my why it took that long - I dunno myself). Don't walk away from this one - - RUN!
None of the ladies want to meet. They want to have pen pals and just chat. Their not even from the town they claim to be from. They just bait you to continue to chat more and more and not stop. It not the place to find a relationship. If you just want to type and chat with a supposed woman this is your site to be on.

So the likelihood that there was some 14 women sitting poised at their phones/keyboards dying to receive a message from me was a little hard to fathom! I signed up for this website and within a couple hours of being on their realize that the people you are chatting with are not real. It's computer generated messaging. Don't waste your money or your time purchasing anything off of Facebook.

NONE OF THE PEOPLE ON THERE WERE REAL! I asked almost everyone to take a picture of their hand making a peace sign or do they wear a ring and when they would say yes I'd ask if they would put in on their left pinky and take a picture. Not one person did it or Id ask them questions they didn't answer and just ask another question. Its some build in AI thing that just keeps you on the hook for asking question after question. They can say whatever they want, but all the women there are fake. They can't tell you what their favorite restaurants, coffee shops, or loca places they visit, or know. Nobody should every pay premium for this site.

Do not go near these crooks with a barge pole. I joined two days ago and was immediately inundated with messages supposedly from ladies in the Ripley (Derbyshire) area. Whilst being reasonably self-confident, I'm not stupid enough to believe that 43 women, many of them twenty years younger, think I'm the cat's whiskers. The replies given by the fake profiles were all very bland, general, and in the same style. Many gave the show away by using the same unusual words, cliches, and Americanisms. Now that I've asked 'them' to chat in a more detailed, personal way, and to tell me something about Ripley, the interest seems to have waned somewhat! Apparently it is not illegal to post fake profiles, only to use them for fraud, embezzlement, etc. To misquote Mr. Bumble, "If the law says that then the law is an $#*!."

You sign up, get spammed bye...several people some saying video resuest, but to even send more than one message you have to pay for the prmium service...but all the messages you get from the profiles, all...seem ai generated/fake...dont fall for it...this company really should be sued for fake adtertising...

$#*! $#*! service. Tried to oump my charge card without permission, caught by visa secirity. I signed up for 99 cents 7 day trial- then got a $56 charge and $112 charge. Paypal idiots - my VISA fruad people cancelled the carges- my $#*! as bank TD charged me a massive NSF fee -despite my desputing the charges, and the paypal wtout autbrization tried to fire it through my chequong account. Wipe them all off your lst. It is a joke and a conspiracy.

I also agree is scam. There may be some legit people, I'm guessing 25-50% maybe. I tested them and they could not give me the correct answers from questions relating to their supposedly "living area". Also one did divulge by mistake that they weren't even in the same country as me! Too bad it was fun while it lasted, but unfortunately in a fantasy!

The pattern of this scam is easily recognizable very quickly. You will login. You will get one, or two pre-fabricated messages from somebody who will never message you again, even if you reply. Just look at the replies from the representative on here. All of their responses are exactly the same.

Not one real profile all bots or at a call centre. Every person asks the same questions and give same replies. They must be reading from a script. Never give you anything personal or any detail you could easily verify. Basically just parrot back your question as an answer.your credit card will be declined at first if you try and join the second time it will be accepted but the charge will be different. Purchased trial membership for.99. When browsing through site, was offered "free" tokens to use for chats and emails. When I clicked to accept, I was charged $69.99. Called their "24" hour customer service line twice and got an automated message that nobody was available to assist me at the time, so I filed multiples complaints with PayPal, my credit card, the BBB, and the attorney general (consumer fraud division). A representative from the company finally called and tried to get me to accept a 50% refund, which I refused. The reviews say it all. This is a complete scam.

So many women on here that answer and chime in at every hour of the day but have no idea of where they live or the landmarks in the area. So easy to spot fake profiles...
This is a scam. The minute you log in you have tin of "women" by that I mean bots sending you texts. Many profiles disappear after 5 minutes. You can quickly see a pattern, of women messaging you twice within minutes and the no response. At times responses are definitely AI generated. I got my premium account yesterday and have instant regret. I'm going to try to get my money back, wish me luck. Facebook dating, and Bumble are much better, however as a male you won't get as many messages, but the ones you do get are legit.

After multiple tests, it has been proven that meetmyage.com is fraudulent. They will deny it in their responses which are essentially scripted responses that repeat themselves for different complaints. Upon sending a chat message to a potential "match," when you receive a paragraph long response the very same instant you submit your message, you know it's automated. The site uses AI for this. The people shown in your local town do not actually exist. You can confirm this for yourself by checking out other dating sites, as you won't find any of the same profiles as you normally would (many people subscribe to multiple services). The site should be investigated, though they are seemingly protected by a loophole being in another country.
You will notice that, in their response below, they claim to monitor the activity of members. However, they will not acknowledge the INSTANT automated messages sent to the sender. A member would not be capable of this behavior. Automated responses can only occur if the website is programmed to do that. The Meet My Age site is programmed to do that. Attached is an example. The final paragraph is a response shown to be written "a few seconds ago" which was transmitted at exactly the same time the message prior to it was sent. No human can read such a message, think of a response, and type (or voice text) one that long in a split second. Furthermore, the content of the response is consistent with what one would expect from an AI response generator. It seems that these "people" you send chat messages to are always there to respond (how likely is that?).
That said, no, I do NOT have the wrong impression of the site. As a matter of fact, I have a VERY ACCURATE impression of the site. The fact that meetmyage.com has 1.6 stars on this review site (and others) speaks for itself. To the Meet My Age staff: you might think you are clever, but there are people who see right through your unethical tactics. Explain this: A site user writes a simple "Hi" to a member on the dating site. One second later (literally one second), he gets a response like "Hi handsome. How are you. What have you been up to? What are your interests? What do you think about our getting together? I'm looking forward to meeting you and establishing something real. How do you feel about that?"
