Sold me a defective laptop
September 15, 2020

MDG is a bunch of crooks, I bought a laptop from them and then I had awaited until my current laptop that I've had for a long time to break down and it did then I opened my new one from MDG and the damn thing won't stay charged. No one at MDG wants to own up to selling a product that's faulty, I even contacted the ASUS company and they think it should go in for repair but of course cause it's been a year and the warranty went out as the laptop was in the box. They want me to pay money to get it fixed and that's outrageous when I'm still paying the laptop at MDG and they sold me a laptop that wont stay charged and it's brand freaking new. MDG has this rep talk to me telling me well then you should of bought a protection plan. WHAT? I didn't damage the freaking thing. That's how MDG does to people, make you pay for a protection plan because they know you are going to need it cause they don't sell new or even good laptops that actually work so bravo MDG on your scams. So stay away from MDG people. They will just take your hard earned money and screw you over.

Mdg is legit used them twice first I received a 65 inch smart tv PlayStation 4 and a sound bar transaction went smoothly next I financed a gaming laptop paper work done in a day just waiting for shipping so far no problem easy to do business

I purchased two products eight and nine years ago and each those keep on breaking. Financing cost sure wasn't worth! Although they made inquiries each time on my credit report, all payments were paid and did nothing increase my credit score! Shame!

Sad, but true

Response from the company as a whole is lacking. Have asked several times what the total would be to pay off the debt with zero response to this specific debt. Lost my job due to COVID and was met with zero helpful alternatives to defer payment in my time of need. Despite my perfect record with payments prior to this time. Unless you are desperate for poor quality furniture at horrendous interest rates, i would absolutely avoid at all costs.

I was qualified for a line of credit, ready to upload my verification documents and tried to do so but couldn't give then everything they needed right away or through the online uploader. So I called only to be told they were closed at the time. So I had planned to call today but I already received an email this morning saying that I was no longer approved. Why tell me I was approved and provide me with a line of credit only to decline me for financing later? They didn't even give me a chance to give them the correct verification documents.

They lie and tell you that you are approved and you provide everything to them that they ask and then just turn around and deny you after going through the whole process. They are fraud and overpriced. I would not recommend them. My credit score has now been affected and did not even get my product.

So I'm pretty disappointed in my laptop its not as useful as I thought it would be. I really needed a touch screen and for it to fold and become a tablet. I work with kids that are autistic and i do a lot of work that requires signatures is there is there any way that I can get a different lap top

I work 12-14 hours a day. They call me over and over while I am working even after I have answered and explained that they need to call later. If I don't answer I get a voice message from a woman whom I can hardly understand due to her accent, and she sounds painfully bored.
Maybe add something with a "best time to call". And also, why on earth would a company ask for my online banking username and password? Seems odd.

It's a rip

I made my first payment a month ago and still haven't received the product. Calls and emails have not been responded to. Luckily, my dad is a lawyer. I think we're going to do a class-action lawsuit against them and shut them down.

Was going to order a new computer and some living room furniture. They said free shipping no minimum. So I put my order in and then they add on 200.00+ for shipping fees. Uhhh No thanks. I didn't complete the order but the order still sits as pending on my account and even after 5 calls its still there on my account. The "customer service" agent all but tried shoving this order down my throat to take it.
So a month later I have decided to adopt a family who have 2 kids and I bought them new clothes, shoes backpacks with supplies etc. and I was going to get them each a laptop. BUT... Cant even put anything into my cart... ORDER PENDING... I'm better off getting something from one of my other retail credit accouts. Just a waste of my time.

You get "approved" but once u decide to checkout the fun begins. Nothing they asked for was unreasonable I guess, as long as you dont mind giving complete strangers your banking information but whatever. My wife works at the bank we use and our down payment was originally 32 dollars and change. After sending them our last two months statements it became 161 dollars down. U must be thinking we were overdrawn all the time or had very little income right? Wrong! Our account has never been in the negative for even one night in the seven years we banked there, and in those two months we had deposits totaling over ******* dollars. I live in arkansas btw so cost of living is very cheap. Brand new 1600sq ft house with 2 car garage cost us 1000 a month. Explanation i was given was that our daily ending balances were low. DUH! My wife keeps everything in savings unless we need to pay something. And to also help prevent someone from getting several thousand through fraud and use having to wait days or weeks to get it back. Did they ask why the balances were low in their opinion? Nope they just multiplied the down payment by six and that was that. The reps were rude and acted as if I shouldve expected such a decision. Do yourself a favor and use Progressive leasing, the approval took less than 15 mins and I went right to my local best buy and purchased my products that day. Didnt even mention that shipping on an xbox one s, a switch lite, and a kitchen mixer was... wait for it 150 dollars and that was regular 7 to 10 day ground. These guys have no clue what criteria to consider whatsoever. Thanks for wasting my time today and i would love to compare bank statements with anyone of the rude $#*! people i dealt with. Stay away, better options and way less hassle

I've been trying to get a laptop for over a month now. I've sent in everything they wanted. Spoke to the rep. They took out my down payment of course. I still am in the process of getting approved. I make over $2500 a week take home. This is ridicules. I've canceled my order. Let's see how long it takes to get my down payment back. I went and purchased a nice laptop on my own. This company is a rip off.
