Don't believe all those fake positive reviews on their site. They sell poorly coded and faulty plugins.
They have a sneaky way to deny refund for faulty plugins by making you physically "return" the plugin, which you can't do (obviously). Once you file a claim they block your account so you can't access the software you paid for. That's a scam.
This company is a joke. Like many on here I am a legit business person who tried to purchase a few items for my website and was immediately locked out of my account. Not understanding why, I reached out to their customer service. These are responses I received. I'm in shock on how this was handled and still not sure why I was discriminated against and why I am not worthy enough to use their services.
Regrettably, after further investigation, we're using our discretion and will not be re-enabling your account.

Terrible customer service. They say they will refund you if product you are getting from them is faulty or broken. So we proved them. After all the hassles they tell they wont return money, only give you credits, probably to buy another broken product. Not recommended
Envato allows the authors of the themes to delete ratings. Here, the rules of Envato are always invoked.
I have now tested almost 10 comments / ratings from a provider and everything that is 3 stars or lower is deleted.
The reviews were critical or very nicely worded and everyone can understand and check them, but they were deleted. That will probably be because the provider has had almost 8000 sales so far. And this is a huge credit for Envato.
The author himself offers a support area, where you could also see that everything that was stated in the review is correct.
It's a shame, I was a customer of Envato for a long time, but since I should still pay the money for a theme that doesn't work as described, I was a customer there long enough.
The company that sells the theme does not display any data on your own homepage, neither company data nor data protection etc. and who would have thought otherwise. The company comes from China, which I found out through detours. So the chance to see the money again is zero.
Be careful, by the way, Envato will lock your account immediately if you activate PayPal Buyer Protection. Now I understand why. By the way, it doesn't matter to them how many themes, plugins you have previously bought. You can no longer make downloads and you can no longer get the codes you previously bought.
***Attached screenshots here*** of their scammer named Ralph (or at least that's the name he/she uses). This paid theme is the equivalent of a trash FREE theme. I requested a refund through PayPal and they said they could not issue a refund unless I first closed the PayPal dispute. They refused to communicate through PayPal, but requested through email twice that I'd close the PayPal dispute. I of course did not listen and sent the screenshots to PayPal. PayPal escalated the claim for me. PayPal then refunded me because they never responded to the claim. Had I cancelled the PayPal claim, I am certain I never would have been refunded.
They sell poorly coded, poorly documented, & poorly supported themes written which they claim are quality checked. They ignore requests for refunds. The only way to get your money back is a chargeback through your bank, and they will retaliate by blocking your account so you can't access any software you've paid for. They are absolute scum of the internet.
5 weeks from making a purchase that I still cannot access. Normally resetting a password is a 2 minute affair. Its been 4 weeks since I contacted customer service there and still no joy.
I have never been scammed - until I did business with this company!
Like others, I wish I would have researched this company before giving them a penny.

Shady market practices, they advertise it at 16$ per month but then switch it on the payment page to annual fee of 198$ billed all at once or 33$ per month on a monthly basis only, more than double, it feels very unethical, why is it not listed like that on the price page only comes up at the payment page? Mmmmm... shady shady shady!, Though probably legal, it is MISLEADING in my opinion. I wouln't have wasted my time shopping to see what is available, if I knew it was 33$ per month apposed to 16$ per month- thats a big difference! Other websites may be more expensive but at least you get what you are paying for, ENVATO ELEMENTS is shady in my opinion!
Has been using them for years with no issues. This last time I bought a template with amazing reviews saying fully customizable. It wasn't. Their customer support ignored my questions even though I paid for a year of support. So I requested a refund from the author. It was rejected.
Then I went to PayPal. Envato didn't respond to the PayPal dispute so I got my money back. Which is great. Problem solved, right? Not really because they locked me out of my account I cannot get to my themes purchased in the past and when I ask them to open it up again they say I have to pay them manually again for that theme I don't want! What kind of business practices are these? It's just awful!
It's just crazy that we going back and forth with their customer service over $79 when I purchased a $1000 worth of template from them and still planning to buy more if I could get to my account. Wasting all this time and effort over $79 is just craziness. This company caress nothihng about their customers and have awful customer support.
I'm very disappointed in https://themeforest.net for allowing Porto to remove negative reviews on their own volition. Pretty sad day. I'll also be contacting Theme Forest to let them know they are removing negative reviews. This is lying to you, the purchaser/customer. Dishonest business practice. You wonder why they have so many positive reviews? It's because they REMOVE the negative ones. Their support team has lied. Their design team has basically robbed me. I paid them $450 for a custom search feature. THEY LOGGED INTO MY OLD SITE THAT I CUSTOM CODED and COPIED THE SEARCH FEATURE I BUILT... What's even worse, is every time they updated the theme, the "custom code" I paid for, broke the search feature. So i had to go in and fix it myself. It took 35 days of going back and forth waiting 2-5 days for a response - only for them to ask a question, I answered in my original request. While the theme is highly functional, the support staff makes this not worth owning. Sad thing is, I've purchased over 100 copies of this theme for my Clients and myself. I will never be using them again and slowly switching my themes over to a new theme. Here is some proof of how bad they communicate.

I highly suggest you find a theme from a different provider, if you need any support.
Skip it! You will be tightly locked into their templates with no maneuverability - AND NO REFUND! Good luck trying. I usually don't spend time writing reviews but, had to do this one.
Very bad experience. The theme sellers cheat with the rating. In case of bad rating, the sellers threaten to stop with support until they award 5 stars.
The themes have always top ratings, after the purchase then the fear that the topics have 1000 errors. You have to invest several months and a lot of money afterwards to fix all bugs.
The support of Anvator is slow and is on the side of the seller. If no one buys the theme, Envato does not deserve anything.

I deposited money into my account, spent a little of it and came back a year later only to find that the money in my account had "expired" and Envato had taken it out of my account.
How is this a legal business practice? It's my money, that I deposited into my own account... That's like your bank taking your money from you if you didn't withdraw it in time. What a scam. I'm also filing a complaint with the BBB as this is a really shady business practice that has to end.
Do not support this business.
I bought a Fastor theme from them to install my Shopify. It is very difficulty to reach help support. I request refund, it has been 21 hrs. No one responded.
Purchased a dated Wordpress theme that does not function properly with WP's updates. Submitted refund request to purchase something else, was ignored for 13 days waiting for "author approval" of the refund. Filed a dispute after two weeks and was told they were "siding with the author" who never responded. Envato sucks, there are plenty of responsive theme marketplaces out there. Spend your money and time elsewhere.
IT'S ANNOYING THAT YOU HAVE GREAT CONTENT, but no one to explain anything to me. Truly Disgusting! I had questions about licensing, editing, ordering etc etc and you'd think they'd be someone I can speak to, but not one single number. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW FRUSTRATING THAT IS?
I bought an envato theme, the theme creators said the website theme was user friendly. It was bogus as hell, especially on an ipad. I asked a refund not even 48 hours later, they decline it and now i have to dispute on paypal. Very bad experience
When you are a new author, they will reject your many good design reasonlessly and repeatedly. No accountability from them like tyranny, though you spend your valuable time to make that design.
But when you upload the same design from any old author account, you will get approval... very very easily. Very unfair and tyranny their approval process. It should be changed.
You will purchase an encompleted themes and unreviewed coding full of errors and they will not give u refund!
