I was trying to buy a wordpress template for my new nonprofit and they sent me the wrong one, twice! I asked for a refund and they refused. I had to contact my bank and it took weeks to dispute the charges. The links to download the template I wanted downloaded completely different templates and when I contacted them to try and resolve it they wouldn't even respond.

No support. The site does not have a chat feature, there is no contact email address or number. Their advertisements are deceptive. I purchased an unlimited subscription which they advertise on graphic river, except once you pay, you cant download from graphic river it takes you to envato, with limited items (probably the junk of the lot). The business owners have blocked linked in communication, what type of honest business owners cant be contacted?

They remove lower ratings for items to provide fake impression of good items all over their pages. I personally had to leave my low rating for a very badly coded html page for 5 times. They were using extremely weird excuses to remove the rating.

Don't trust that company and don't trust the ratings. Before purchasing confirm with the seller they are fine with refunding if their code isn't as perfect as described in description.

Envato should be brought down by requesting sellers to sell direct. Envato does not deserve the huge cut they take.

Absolute f#¤&%#g garbage

Absolute garbage customer service. Have requested a new password and gotten no response since almost two days now. But the real issue is their faulty products. Bought Urip theme after having seen the demo, turns out you have to also pay $45 for a WPbakery plugin account for it to work like it does in the demo, no mention of that, and when one drops almost $60 on a theme one expects it to complete, 800 carefully crafted icons? Only if you get another $60 account set up, absolute f%&¤#g garbage responsiveness. And no customer support whatsoever, got in contact with one of the reps on Facebook, but seems like he got bored and stopped answering after I couldnt provide a support ticket ID, which I couldnt get cos you cant get in contact with their support without logging in and for that I need that password...

Excellent service so far

I am also surprised by all the bad reviews on sitejabber, I got excellent service from Envato, however the theme developer UX wasn't that good, they never replied to a refund request (they did tell me over email that it's up to Envato) but I still had to wait 5 days to be able to escalate the claim to Envato.

Once Envato took over, everything went smoothly

Reliable customer support

Honestly, I'm really surprised by most of the reviews. I bought my template (croma) last year and I always got quick and helpful support even if I asked thing which not related closely to the template but wordpress overall.

Download wouldn't work.

The download wouldn't work. I tried every effort to contact them with no luck. They will not respond to email and there is no way to get any software support if you're having problems from the website. I disputed it with paypal and of course Envato responded to them and said it was downloaded. So obviously they were both a bad choice on my part. Save your money!

I have previously bought several plugins which NONE of them have worked properly! Their so-called quality checks of the plugins available at this scam market is a F** joke!

To top it they don't even refund you. They add credit to your account, so that you can buy another worthless non-functioning item you don't need. This is the closest thing to a scam I've seen in a long time

I use to buy from envato market place since past 4 to 5 years for my website but since past 1 year there services are going down aND probably now at that point that We as customer have started feeling getting cheated. Themeforest is another cheat name for it

OpenCodez LLC has just lost hundreds of dollars to the evil community called "Envato". After trying to resolve my broken and miss coded items, we got declined for all refunds to hell with this company, so it can go back to where it came from.

OpenCodez LLC needs a refund for every purchase because out of the 15 items OpenCodez bought, only got 3 of them to actually work. This company "Envanto" is a scam and we are kindly asking for a refund of all purchases. We at OpenCodez have damages of over 4 hours of our programming services, so we also want our account deleted after all the refunds have been issued and/or item is deleted from the account. Thank you for quick and professional response on this matter.

Bait and switch demos

I bought a theme based on a demo but what I was sent was a blank theme, not a template. It took days to hear back from customer service and buy then I had to buy another theme to get the job done. The refuse to refund my money for sending me nothing. Horrible service, dont care about people, wish I could give zero stars.

Please AVOID

Please avoid. What you are buying from them is not what you see on their website. I did expect to get proper, easy solution for new website (as I saw on the pictures of their site). I was hoping just to replace text and voila! NO! I got few files with some script, information that pictures are not included and another script and techie text how to fix some google problems that are associated with their product. If you know how to use that scripts why would you need their stuff in a first place? As soon as I realised what I got (10 minutes after purchase) I asked them to cancel transaction and filled claim to Paypal. In return I got few emails blaming me for not reading "small text" and so on. They refused to refund. Fortunately I paid by Paypal and I hope they will sort it out.

Tererible - avoid

Terrible! I was lead to believe that I need to buy a software in order to get my template to work. Contacted evanto and the author, but no one came back to me until I raised a dispute with PAYPAL. Then I was told to close the dispute and they will refund but they refused. Absolutely terrible customer service, and terrible compnay to deal with. Waist of money and my time and template still does not function fully!

After a week after I purchased a product, I was not able to download the whole package (I was able to download only the part of it). I had to get with the solution fast and, after days of waiting for response from Envato, I found a different supplier. I asked for refund. Envato has decided that it was more important for them to keep my few bucks.
