I had a terrible experience with make mymaketrip!

We booked a taxi from Delhi to Agra, with a pick up at 4am to make the sunrise at the Taj Mahal. The driver turned up but told us he was very tired as he had been working long hours and we could not sleep in the car as it would make him sleepy.

Makemytrip should not send drivers, who are tired, to take passengers on a 10 hour round trip - this is very dangerous. Therefore, I asked the driver to take us back to the hotel 10 minutes after we had left. For another 15 minutes he refused to take us back - this was quite scary for my wife, sister and myself. I had to call my hotel to tell him to take us back.

I then had to book a car from hotel last minute, which of course was very expensive. We missed the sunrise.

Makemytrip now refuse to issue a refund.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Once you are done with the initial payment there is no point of contact n these people ll nvr call u back. Their customer support number n email id is of no use. Their sales dept is very active until u pay the initial amount. I raised my query 3 times on their support id but no response called them up for 4-5 times but there in noone to pick up the call. They ll simply say "transferring your call to the concerned person" but no one is there. Seriously bull$#*!

I would like to describe my experience with MMT(which is in fact a huge brand name), provides worst customer service, treats customer like $#*! once the payment is made. Lots of faults and bugs in their app and functionality which they didnt care to accept as their mistake.
So, I made a booking for a hotel(non refundable), due to some emergency situation I could not reach on that date, So instead of cancelling there was an option provide to modify the booking dates.
I proceeded with the modifying, No notification, No prompts were shown to me, directly booking was cancelled.
Its been more than a month now that am following up with CC of make my trip, No response, No call backs, No care for the issue raised.
Today wen I demanded to talk with the manager or some senior supervisor, I got a reply back that Its my fault that I tried modifying the booking. So no refund or anything will be provided.
I lost like ******* behind this stupid make my trip.
Now all I can say is Never use make my trip, always prefer direct bookings.

Worst website ever. Never use makemytrip to book tickets. They just take some information by default and then to modify the details they just ask to cancel the ticket and pay a high penalty fee or they ask to pay 153 USD to get the information changed.
Worst service ever. Request you all not to make a booking through this site.
They display wrong information while confirming the ticket and provide some other information to the airlines.
Never use their website to make the booking.

I have used this website makemtrip several times to book air travel from USA for domestic india travel, almost always it charges a higher amount than displayed online just before checkout. I do not understand why. Apart from all the fees, surcharges etc etc already added and displayed, they conveniently charge a higher amount after we pay the final amount. Apart from any international transaction fees that they charge and our bank would charge.

I have paid for Indigo Flight E tickets on 1st October midnight through makemytrip.com. Rs6924 deducted from my axis bank account. But, not received any confirmation via mail or sms. I have raised this issue in their website, but they mailed next day that it will be rectified soon.

I have waited to book air tickets, but they replied that payment is not received.

I contacted their customer care number, but the person didnt attend the query that it is not their department.

At the same day, I got an sms to my mobile *******155 that payment is received.

It created lot of confusion.

Next day, their customer care contacted me and told, it is not their website complaint, but an error from their payment gateway.He abused me that it is customer's mistake.

I wonder how they behave like this much amateur way.

I have transacted from their website makemytrip.com and money is deducted from my account.

Yet, they criticise a customer without any reason.

I have mailed again. They asked bank statement.

I have mailed it again.

I have attached it in initial query at website earlier.

Now 5 days are passed, They are still asking bank statement even after I have send them it twice.

I have not received my transacted amount back.

I think, this company is totally irresponsible and dont value customer's money.

Or they are trying to loot customers in fraudulent manner by pretending.

A good ecommerce firm should be able to execute the transaction without error.

If any error happens, they should rectify it wthin 24 hours and pay back the money.

This is my experience and I think it is high risky for any customer to book e tickets via this company.

Because, they are not all supportive or helpful.

They make a scam by giving discount on inflated hotel prices, and when one cancels the booking, they charge the discount from us as cancellation fee and fight with us saying" policy, we go by the policy rules". Just never ever book via make my trip
All the mmt cash is bogus thats just a bait for all out there looking at the discounts they are offering!
So plz don't ever book via make my trip or else it would be a $#*!ed up trip!

I booked the theertha park hotel via makemytrip website and the booking get confirmed I got the mail and message both but when we reach the hotel to check in the hotel receptionist told us that they are not using online bookings nowadays and we did not receive any money or confirmation about the booking and didn't allow us to stay in there hotel that day we slept inside our car. Is this the way you people give service to your customers? And from last 3 days I am trying to contact makemytrip customer care but couldn't able to do so because of huge traffic is this the way you people running your business? I want my full booking amount and compensation to my bank account or else I will never ever use makemytrip again in my life. After many follow up make my trip team is saying they have transferred money to the hotel and the Hotel is not refunding back.

Horrible experience with the website booking. They cheat harass and just want to make money. Did bus booking from Mumbai a day before. On reaching the pick up spot and waiting for bus for half an hour with famiky bus operators saying they don't have booking my name when I had valid email ticket with PNR number. I called makemytrip they had no information they said wait there for 24 hours to solve the query with family when trip was already planned and hotel booking done. They don't know how to deal with customers. Lost my money and had a mental torture. Never book on this website.
