Macys is fraudulent company forcing people to have subscriptions not being able to cancel being kept on hold because the website is rigged for tech support for over an hour the people in the store cannot help the people on the customer service cannot help and they just keep you waiting and the website is rigged so that you cannot manage your own subscriptions that people unknowingly get placed onto. Says you can call customer service and they will help however after being on hold for an hour and speaking with three people I am now calling my credit card company and reporting thrm for fuard.

I completely regret using Macy's for my wedding registry. They have messed up with several items, there were constantly glitches with the registry, and I had to sit on chat/the phone with support for over THREE HOURS to correct their mistake. I am beyond frustrated with this company. If you do a search online, they have so many bad reviews. I wish I knew this before setting up my registry here.
Bought the Gucci Bloom perfume from Macy's. It has a lovely, long-lasting scent but it is a bit on the pricey side. Shopping was easy but delivery was a tad slow.
We bought this dining set and the boxes came destroyed like they had been through a hurricane. 1 of 6 chairs came assembled and everything in general came damaged. There was a 4 inch scratch on the dining table and wood and material peeling off of everything. We wanted to return it 1 day after delivery and were told we had to wait 3 weeks for an inspector. The inspector came and said that was the design without looking at everything we pointed out parts and they ignored us and refused to look at everything. We would tell him something and he would say that's the design. Big scratches and wood lifting is not a design. Macys then tells us from the pictures they can only provide a discount but no refund when it looks all used and damaged. We had to talk for 2 hours and escalate it and the best they offered was us paying almost $300 to return it. It's a cheap price for the table but we were not expecting it to be used or damaged. Now we are out that money and we had to get a dining table from elsewhere. Save yourself the money and aggravation of dealing with Macys. Boxes showed that it was 2 chairs for 1 box but this box came with 1 chair assembled. Someone assembled and returned it.

MAGDALENA was going above and beyond to help to find the best bedding for my master and guest bedrooms. It was so hard me, coming from Canada, trying to find the best solutions for my fully renovated condo. With all my favourite colours I presented to Magdalena, she was quick and creative to show me all possible options, explained all differences in purchasing different duvets, pillows and sheets.She was working with me trying to find the best colors palette for my project. What a service!
I left Macy's with all pieces for my place! Happy and excited to decorate!

Purchased the Tommy Hilfiger Performance Jacket from Macy's. It's decent for light weather, but not warm enough for colder months. The shopping process was fine, but delivery took longer than promised.
I paid 657.00 for my movie theater recliner in April of 2022 and waited almost 2 1/2 months to receive it which was totally unacceptable… After having the power recliner for less than one year, the power completely stopped working!. I called Macys and they sent a service Guy out a week and a half later only to be told that it couldn't be repaired. Then I was told to talk to Customer service again and they FINALLY agreed to a full refund since it is still under warranty…. They finally came to pick my recliner up to be returned after another week and a half wait and now 4 days later and 6 phone calls later, they're still giving me the run around as to why my refund hasn't been processed yet! BTW: I live in Oklahoma, and for some VERY ODD reason they returned the recliner to the Dallas Texas warehouse 6 hours away! ….So then I call them AGAIN and demand to speak to a Supervisor that was named LaFrieda and she was EXTREMELY RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM! I better get my refund in the very near future or Macys is definitely going to have a lawsuit on their hands! AVOID MACYS UNLESS YOU LIKE DEALING WITH INCOMPETENT PEOPLE THAT COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMERS! BTW: ALL OF THEIR REPS ARE LOCATED OUT OF THE US AND THEY BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH! GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER MACYS OR YOU WONT SURVIVE ANOTHER YEAR!
I bought a printer about three months ago and still didn't receive it, I tried to contact customer service but no one answers, I don't recommend this at all. I'd give 0 stars if it was possible.
I made and order, paid for 2 day shipping, and it wasn't shipped. I called and emailed customer service, and they are just clicking the same UPS button I have that says UPS HASNT RECEIVED THE PACKAGE. Now they're trying to make me wait 16 days while they "investigate". Ridiculous. They have the same link I do, and UPS clearly hasn't received the item, yet they're making ME wait…. Just shop with Dillards. MACYS.COM is a joke.

Sales person Maggie in backstage said why do parents come to the store with children's like that" to another customer, she first thought I didn't understand English and said that only because my autistic child was crying. That is no one to treat someone who is spending money at the store. People like that should not work in a store.
I bought 2 bras was supposed to have been around 43 with tax and they charged my card 53 I know it's only 10 dollars but the problem is I have called twice and was told I would get a credit and never happened so I just got off the phone with another agent and was told that the agents you spoke to in the Phillipines never put in order number so couldn't credit account a bunch of BS will not use my card again
Mens department 2nd floor. Outrageously rude and obstructive service today. A Tshirt bought 1 week ago that developed a large hole in the seam after a single wear. I was told it didn't leave the store like that so my fault. No exchange or return possible despite having the receipt and said in the most rude manner. Macys has come up with a new type of bait and switch and because of their business practices I will never shop in Macys again. Today I went into the Men's Department to buy two pair of Haggard pants. The pants are always $44.95. I always use my Macys credit card because the company sends me monthly coupons that are good for all products, "even products on sale." When I got to the register I was told none of the coupons could work. They are valid until August 13, but not valid today. I expected at least 30 percent off. I decided not to buy the pants. This was the second time the store refused my coupons. I told the clerk I didn't want the pants. After I left the store I received a noticed I charged $96.28 on my card. I went back to the store and found a manager. She told me Macys doesn't honor the coupons because the pants were on "Special." That's right. They are always $44.95, but they place a red sign over the displays that says Special. Bait and Switch. The bait, the coupon. The switch, special instead of sale. The had the charge removed, cancelled my credit card and will never shop in Macys again. I was a gold credit card customer and that's how I was treated. I recommend you beware of this Macys practice and boycott the stores.
Juliette from the cosmetics counter was phenomenal. She was professional, friendly and managed to complete my purchase without it being her cosmetic counter. I was impressed with her.
First and foremost, I believe that Macy's is the best department store I've ever been to in all my years of shopping! I am an avid and loyal customer for 25 years now and always felt that they were just perfect! But recently, Macy's has changed their return policy to a strict 30 day return, which is a great disappointment to me because there are times where time slips me by and it may be a little past 30 days. I have recently encountered, a problem with an online return. I spoke to a representative within the 30 days who told me that a refund would be issued, and that there was no need to return the blouse I purchased because it was damaged. So I waited and waited for the refund, but nothing ever happened. I called and explained everything to the new representative who found no record of my previous conversation, which completely amazed me! I put in a dispute and Macy's, to my surprise, denied my claim for a silly little $39 because they said it was past the 30 days (and it was NOT). Of course, I will continue to shop at Macy's because it is my favorite store, but I am very unhappy with what happened with my return and all because of its new 30 day return policy. It really was a big disappointment to me because I spend up to $800 a month and yet they gave me such a problem for a silly $39 - just very unhappy about this new return policy!
I ordered 2 pairs of heels over a month ago, only one pair arrived. I have emailed both Macy's and the delivery service Uniuni, nobody knows where my package is and I did not get any refund for it.
