Ordered online from Macy's.com; item wasn't what was pictured; returned with proof showing it was received by them; they still haven't refunded me after 29 days! Every time I call, they say it's coming! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. Macy's has changed drastically for the worse and it shows on all of the store closures. That's why Amazon is so successful, if you return any item, you see your refund right away.
I been with Macy's since i was in 11th grade H.S this company used to be so competent now most of the representatives in the call center are rude and unable to help with your inquiries. They lied about sending me a statement i requested one month and a half ago.I called after that month within a 2 hrs call tranfers from one to another they block my account.They have the audacity to ask me for a 4 digits referral they sent in the mail. How will i receive those 4 digits in the mail when one rep named "ANNA" said it was the Apt # that was not updated that was the reason i didn't receive my card and my billing statement. How and where would these numbers be sent to. Macy's representatives are trash,unprofessional,rude and most of these agents language communication is below grade level. Hard to understand you and hard for you to understand them. Call center isn't the place for them.
I ordered from this awful website. Your package doesn't arrive and the custom service doesn't help you with anything. I keep getting the answer "We are looking for your package" since 3 weeks and nothing is happening. Im not getting my money and Im not getting my package. Don't buy from this website.
I bought two things, and one was a $14.89 lip balm. The lip balm was out of stock that time, and they assured me they would pay me back. Ridiculously I had to call them 10 times, each time they said I'll will get refunded. Since it was the time of COVID I was understanding and did not bother to leave a review. But I called now, and they told me that there's nothing they can do since it's no longer in the system. I said I have all the receipts and proof, but it doesn't matter. I know it's $14.89, but it is the principle of the matter.

They have the worst customer service, they dont listen EVER. Arguing with me on the phone. I will never do business with them again.
I bought 5 items on sale (one purchase) for a total of $189, On my credit card I have 5 separate purchases and the total is $77 more than amount on my receipt. Macy's says they cannot do anything to correct this.
Extremely disappointed with the return policy. They did not even make an exception knowing I had already bought a different size of the same pair of shoes. The rep on the phone did not even want to ask the supervisor for a remedy, only kept repeating that this is the new return policy. Macys was always the store where customer service made sure the customer was first and was happy. No matter the situation they will make an exception to please the customer. They have changed for the worst, unfortunately.
I placed an ordered for almost $9000 worth of items. After alot of time and energy and a 30 min call to custormer service I placed the order on line. By the next day my order had been cancelled because their system can not combined mattresses with bedding and housewares and because I had never spent that much at one time on their website they declined by offer. I tried to replace the order with customer service on the phone and literally 4 hours later they managed about $3000 worth of the items. The people were nice but no manager would get on the phone. Phone cut out constantly and their system kept shutting down. The savings may have been worth it for an hour but not for 4. The store physical has no merchandise to see and very small staff. I assume Macy's will go out of business soon.

Today I had a wonderful experience with Brent at the Estee Lauder beauty product counter. Brent was knowledgeable, informative, patient and her expertise was exceptional. I bought a crock pot to help me from starving to death, thinking I'd be able to pick up a few things from the recipe book and get cracking. Wrong no recipe book no cooking guide applying to menus anyway very disappointing. Oh W just go on the website sick of hearing that crap.
The worst service ever. Store manager, sales person, macy's credit card issuer - terrible - They cancel my furniture without my knowledge for days no text message, no call informing cancelling the order. They charge my credit card which is almost 10 days - amount not credited. Every time you call no result. Please keep all your receipt in place if you face the situation like me and be ready to stay on the phone for hours.
I want to give 0 stars which which they deserve, but don't let me, it has to be at least 1.
Do not buy at Macy's, I have been a customer for around 40 years, now they are selling online from another companies, so it is not Macys, and do not have the same quality as before, and when you buy something online does not said anywhere that you are buying from another marketplace, which is not acceptable not to let you know that it is not from Macys. Moreover the returns must be whiting 30 days, I also bought a perfume and try it to return, well I was just going to exchange it only, and because I bought it 45 days ago, they didn't exchange it.

We made the huge mistake by buying a couch from them. It took over 7 months to get it. Then the couch broke down about 8 months after getting it. They came by to look at it and said it needed a new part. They ordered the new part to have it delivered here. The first time they forgot to order it. The second time when we followed up, they finally ordered it without providing a tracking number since it's being shipped to our house. They said it would take up to two months to get the part. Once we get the part we have to call them back to schedule an appointment for them to fix it. I will never ever again buy furniture from macys. I much rather pay an extra 500 dollars for the same thing from a better company with better customer service.
Buyers beware Macey has other vendors on there site I used my Macey card thought I was purchasing from Macey my package got stolen off my front porch and I had to take a five hundred dollar loss they would not refund my money never shopping there again
Macy's used to be my 'go to' place for grandkids kids clothes, gifts, my outfits, etc. I was there so often. But Macys has priced themselves out of my league. I laugh when I look at an exorbitant price for a short sleeve blouse, and everything else. Even the sales and special discounts don't lower the price near the one I get elsewhere for the very similar item. Sad, it was part of my growing up too, my grandma worked for Bamberger's.
