Canceled the order and do not return the money

Do not shop on macys.com. They canceled four of my orders immediately after placing them, deducted money for each order from my card and have not refunded money from my card for almost a month.
They don't provide support by email, they say call! And I'm deaf!
Be careful!

I usually don't write a review for any stores or products. But this time, I decided to write a review due to the fact that it makes me feel very upset and less than any other individual just because of the way I was treated by Macys. I Placed an order the week of Nov. 16 from Macys for 4 pairs of Diamond Love Knot Stud Earrings. I put the order to be shipped to my daughters address in NJ. I loved the earrings and the way they were packed was stunning/amazing. Therefore, I decided to order 2 more pairs the following week. But this time I decided to get them shipped to my address in the Bronx. However, the earrings were broken and they were packed in such a way that it was disgraceful, just to see the poor job that person that prepared the order did. I've been in this country for 33 years and I've never experienced racism. However, this time I felt it. I felt ashamed and disgusted about the whole situation. I just hope that no one else faces the same experience that I had. The saddest part is that I pay the same amount of money for the same items and what I got doesn't even match the first order. Very sad that in 2022 racism still exist in the USA. Also, I need to point out that I wrote a review of the Items as soon as I received them. However, nobody has taken the time to answer my concern.

I spent a lot of money on Macy's for Christmas and I got earrings that said they were $200 a necklace that said it was worth $200 I took it to the Jewelers they were each worth $10. Then they sent me some old shoes that I paid $60 for. They are total false advertisement

The reason for this review is to warn others so that they might not attempt to make a purchase from this site. Placed a recent order with Macy's online department store for a pair of Women's Carly Steve Madden Double platformed Mary Jane shoes at the whopping price of $66.93 which was unbelievable to begin with. I placed the order, and later was told that it would be shipped out on December 6th which is 7 days from the point of placing it. I found the shipping procedures, and price odd to begin with, but proceeded anyway. As I'm attempting to check the status of my order, all I get is that "the order is still being processed notification". Days after paying my hard earned money, all of the sudden the site now no longer loads via search, or the app. How convenient! Long story short. I won't hesitate to notify the bank of the charges, and scam(s) that Macy's online shopping may be conducting, and of the stealing from patrons that are unaware of their thievery. Beware of making purchases via this website. Everything that glitters isn't gold. Thieves will be thieves all day whether it be Macy's, or any other online department store. Consider yourselves warned.

Received an email that my order had been delivered nothing on my camera's no notification nothing I went to my porch nothing I went to my mailbox nothing when the package was too large to put in my mailbox anyway should've been from what I ordered nothing I made a complaint and was told that they have to refund me instead of getting my items and I have to repurchase items Which is a total rip off because it was a sale item never again will I waste my time with Macy's online

Can Opener from hell!

I received a can opener today from Macy's with someone else's name and address on it due to them returning it and they just slapped my name on the box and sent it out. They didn't bother to repackage or anything the box was totally destroyed with the blade hanging outside the box and on top of that it looked old. The magnet looked crusty and the toaster was dirty. I'm so over these retailers they just want our money at any cost, quality has gone way down. I'm done with Black Friday never again. Black Friday means get all the used items on sale as they get rid of old merchandise. Shame in Macys next time I'm going to an Amazon outlet store might as well! Higher disappointed and I ordered two roasting pans and they looked full size on the website but when they arrived looked miniature, here they go again. Not ordering from Macys online anymore.

Terrible customer service

What in the world is happening to Macy's?! I tried placing an online order & had all kinds of issues so I called customer service to place order, they use offshore people that don't understand or speak good english, constantly had to repeat things, when we finally got to the paying part they informed me there computers had gone down & I'd need to call back in 2 hrs. Called back said they'd placed order & I would get a confirmation, never got one ck the next day still nothing long story short they canceled my order cause 1 of 3 items was sold out. So why would they cancel the rest of the order? Ended up I calling the store many times before I got anyone to answer the phone spoke to the store manager & was able to place order successfully. The whole process took around 3 hrs which is totally ridiculous. Again today I tried calling the store inquiring about an item & nobody answers the phone. Seems they have no customer service & if you do get hold of someone they know nothing. The store looks more like a clearance store than anything. Guess it's time to start shopping at Dillards, Nordstrom or VonMaur, done with Macys.

I got a gift card and used it online as well as using my own funds. All items needed to be returned. I packed them both up, sent them both on the same day. A week later I get confirmation they received one box another week later they received the other. One was bought by my cc the other gift card. This is why nobody can compete with Amazon! It took five phone calls with 30 minute wait times just to tell me I now have to wait another ten days to receive my refund although they already received my returns! Therefore if I have to wait then reorder correct size I'm looking at way past the holiday for my items. What's the point? If I have to wait a MONTH from start to finish, that's unacceptable. I will no longer get Macy gift cards or buy anything online as this has been a nightmare and I receive no help from customer service. Lesson learned, stick with Amazon

Worse store to buy from

We have purchased several furniture items for a new home. We have experienced issues almost every time. Long delays which we can understand given the climate; however, when they manage to come, there is always something missing and they will make several attempts with still parts missing to comple the job. I don't recommend anyone to go through the same nightmare! There is no accountability even at the managerial level! Stay away from Macy's all together. I have been dealing with the Pembroke Pines furniture branch. Our sales person tried very hard but has no control over the entire mismanagement.

During the Black Friday's sale, I placed an order online with my credit card and this order went on reversal 5 times. I called my financial Institution and they advised me there was no problem on their end. I called Macy's customer service and spoke with 3 different customer service representatives and none of them gave me any satisfaction on how to address the issue with my order.

I also placed my order with a customer service representative using a separate debit card. The customer service representative assured me that my order was processed and went through. Within the hour, my order was again cancelled by Macy's. I was also told that i did not meet Macy's verification tools which was never explained to me and why?

Macys customer service was so horrible to the point where It was super frustrating and unsatisfactory. Truly horrible experience.

I bought $*******.00 worth of furniture from Macys in Sept. 2018. Bought a leather sectional couch and got the ultimate protection coverage for the couch it was for 5 years. I noticed a few cracks in the leather and had a technician come and take picture i asked what could be done. He said he was only hired by company to take pictures he doesnt know anything about repairing. When he left he screwed us in his assessment that it was over time repeated wear dog damage mind you it is covered for pets. I have gotten no wear they refuse to send another tech to check or solve problem. The sectional when Macys commercial come on TV the first couch that is the couch i have. So Macys sells you a bill of goods and their warranty company stinks

Never have I ever had such a bad experience with Macy's. My package was delivered to the wrong state, and all Macy's had to say was, oh sorry. So now this "Manny" guy in some other state gets to keep and use my luggage for FREE? I want the order that I placed and Macy's said no. WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO MACY'S? BAD BAD BAD customer service. The only reason this review gives one star is because I was forced to choose a star - Macy's gets ZERO stars from me

Canceled order by macys

I ordered a pair of shoes on 11/19/22 and I needed these shoes by 11/22/22 so I paid for express shipping they took my money in less than 10 seconds then cancelled my order and me I have to wait 7-10 business days to get my money back because they made a mistake so I don't have my money or my shoes I will never shop online or ever visit any of their stores I'm also putting this on social to expose this bull$#*! that they are doing to people and they are not doing anything to rectify the mistakes on their behalf

I ordered an item to pick up at a location. They ended up not having it so they ordered it online for me with free shipping and said it would arrive in 3 days. 10 days later, it still hasn't shown up. They have told me they have shipped a new order twice and still nothing. I think they are lying to me at this point and that they don't know what the hell they are doing. They can't get their $#*! together with their inventory or shipping. Don't order anything from Macy's!

I will like to first start off by saying the reviews I have read thus far is far from a lie. Customer service has been outsource to a country outside of US and its completely hard to get a decent worker who goes above and beyond for you. I order a piece of furniture for $999 on 11/11 and today's is the 11/17 and still no furniture. It was supposed to arrive 11/15 so I have been waiting 2 days for someone to call me from the warehouse according to representatives and management. This ompanybdoes bad business and after this I will never ever shop here again and I will tell everyone about this bad business practice. I will be going on every site I can to write about the lies this company tells from in store to customer service I spoken to about 5 reps in 2 days and no one seems to know where my item is. Never never never shop at Macys. Do not trust management as they are uncreditable. They just wana tell you sweet nothings with notice of promise. 3rd day and still no call from any one at Macys and my item saulys delivered. This is fraud and robbery and I have no problem getting a lawyer about my 1000 bucks.

Label was created, package was lost. Refund was processed never received not even a confirmation # was received, was told refund was denied after l called to get update which means if l don't call never would they process refund for the second time. So now l have to wait another 10 days to receive refund totalling close to 30 days, very rude Supervisor Ken, & representative Angie.
