I ordered a gown from MackTak and did not understand why it was so small. Then I found 2 tags sewn inside with 2 different sizes. Additionally, the hanging designer tag had the size whited out with a sticker over it. The manager refused to take the gown back saying it wasn't MackTak's fault, even though they state that every gown is checked and rechecked before leaving the store. I reported MackTak to the Better Business Bureau; they didn't even respond their the BBB complaint. Now I know why they have a rating of "F" due to the amount of complaints lodged against them.

I bought a jovani 4247 dress size 4 from macktakmart.com and the dress arrived exactly on time and I was very satisfied with the quality and the on time delivery. The only issue I had was the size. The dress was a bit large for me. When I called macktak within 24 hours they told me the size 2 is not in stock but it will arrive in 3 weeks. So I gave them all my information and I called them back in 3 weeks and the size 2 was on hold for me. The customer service was very patient with me and I easily exchanged my dress with a size 2. The impressive part was that the exchanged item arrived fast too. I am happy with my purchase and I already recommended macktakmart.com to my friends for their prom.

Loved their NYC boutique! Especially since its only a few blocks away from where I work and often times I passed by the store and I never actually entered. So I looked up a dress online and found out that I could make an appointment and go and try it on. The girl assisting me was super nice and I really took my time and tried on a few of my favorite dresses. I'm glad I found this store because now I can find my favorite designer couture dresses and actually try them on and even better get an unbeatable deal!

After 2 weeks of waiting for a shipping email, Had to call 3 times to inquire when dress would be shipped. Was told all 3 times dress would ship next day. When dress still had not shipped, attempted to cancel order. They refused. Dress arrived 2 days before event, it was a whole size too small even tho sized by the posted measurement guide. Free accessories wasn't even close to the ordered earrings. They were cheap metal earrings that look like childrens dress up jewelry.

Avoid this site! I ordered a pretty expensive dress, only to find out that everything was poorly stitched. Parts of the dress almost fell apart instantly with a pull of a string. Also, they use the WORST shipping service ever. TNT express, when you call about inquires their staff are very rude, uninformative, and offer you no solutions. My major problem with this site is, I am from Canada and when I ordered my dress I was told that shipping was going to be covered. Next month I am billed from TNT express a custom bill of $109! Macktackmart.com offers false advertisements and terrible shipping service. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE! Take it from my experience.

I LOVED IT! Ever since I saw a fabulous dress on Megan Fox and I found out it was the Terani *******H, I knew I have to have it in my life ASAP! Eventhough I found it on a couple of high-end sites, MackTakMart was the only one that had it in stock and promised me I will have it the next day! And next day I got it! The customer service was super nice and helpful and they came through for me! I've told some of my girls to also shop from them and they all have been very happy with it!

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY! I ordered a dress over the phone on 02-14-2012 and was told it was in stock in my size. My event was 03-04-2012 so I was only willing to order if I knew it would arrive in time. The person on the phone told me it would ship out by the end of the week. I was pleased with that and ordered it. Long story short, my dress arrived 2 days before my event. 2 days too late because I had already left out of town. According to UPS, it was left at my front door. I live in a building so I wasn't surprised when I realized it had either been stolen or not delivered. I have contacted Macktak numerous times regarding this and have never been able to resolve my problem, I'm always told a supervisor will call me back. I've never been called back. I've emailed and have never received a reply. I'm out of my money and have no dress. My event has passed and I no longer need the dress nor want to do business with this "company". I just want my money back. If your dress is in stock then I don't see why you would have a problem like I did. But then again they lied to me and told me they mine in stock. They are happy to take your money but once you have a problem, they disappear!

I ordered a prom dress for my daughter in the size she had tried at the store; same dress and designer. When the dress arrived it was two sizes too small and after two separate calls to this company they refused to exchange the dress. The sales associate did give me some advice for free..."you can sell it on EBay"! Gee thanks! If they are known for their easy exchanges as the website indicates you wouldn't know it by the service I received. I told the associate that if the dress was not exchangeable it should be clearly marked on the site. READ THE FINE PRINT!

The before sale service is excellent, the selection is excellent the aftersale is APPALLING!. Also beware as the sizes given on the website are not at all accurate. My dress arrived 4" smaller on all dimensions even though I emailed my measurments and was told which size to buy. I did not receive any free accessories, and all my emails where ignored. BEWARE! They would not refund even though it was there fault. Luckily mastercard are dealing with the refund for me.

Wonderful store to shop at! I recently found this store, which is located right next to Lord&Taylor on 38th st and I have no problem finding my favorite dresses in their huge collection at great values. They are very friendly and caring in terms of how to treat a customer and even when they are flooded with customers, they find a way to tend to your needs and find you the dress you want. I especially love the videos of the dresses on their website, makes shopping for dresses online a lot easier, and this way I could choose a dress online and walk in to their store and buy it without being disappointed of any disparity between the picture and the actual dress, as had previously occured to me. Loved MacktakMART!

I ordered a dress from this website for a very soon special occasion and I was happy to receive it within 1 week. However, the color of the dress I received was NOT the color I ordered, and it changed the whole look of the dress. I e-mailed them twice, but received no response. I phoned them, they refused to exchange the dress although it was their fault. They would not admit their fault, they would not help you in the slightest. They only care to take money from you, after that, they don't care>> KEEP AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT HEADACHE

A great store to shop for dresses. They have a huge collection of the latest and sexiest dresses and the people at Macktak mart make shopping very easy and enjoyable for you. I was looking for a Jovani dress which was hard to find almost everywhere and when I contacted them they had it and I went to their 38th st. Store and tried it on and I just loved it, the video of the dress on the website had already given me the idea of how the dress would be in real life and they were just so nice and customer-friendly. Last week I ordered a gorgeous Terani dress off their website and it arrived even earlier than I expected. I loved the fit and finish and the speedy shipment!

I look forward to buying more dresses from their website and I totally recommend it to whoever wants to buy fabulous dresses from a trusted website!

Macktakmart is a great website with even a greater customer service. They have a huge collection of fabulous dresses, ones which I would have had to pay 100s of dollars extra to get at a dept. store. My wife and daughter love shopping their favorite dresses from them because never before did we have a sales representative help us so patiently and extensively over the phone with kind detail to every dress my daughter inquired about and believe me my daughter is a tough one to deal with, yet she was very satisfied with her purchases.

As a matter of fact, she is telling me for a few days that we have to sit down and choose her a nice prom dress on macktakmart because she wants to shine and there are just too many gorgeous dresses to choose from, which is going to make my life more difficult but what can we do, we choose the dress and we leave the rest to the able hands of this website.

My girlfriend had previously shopped from Macktakmart.com. For her birthday I decided to surprise her and order a dress from Macktak since she was so happy with the one she got herself. I wasn't sure about the sizing, but I knew the kind of style she liked, so I called customer service and they were extremely helpful. They helped me with the size and suggested a few other styles to take a look at. The dress I ended up choosing was perfect! My girlfriend loves it and looks fantastic in it! I would definitely recommend this website. It's easy to use and very detailed. I will absolutely shop on this site in the future... but don't tell my girlfriend. ;)

I heard about Macktakmart.com though my best friend, this website was so amazing I wanted to buy anything that would feet me, the prices where good but the best of all the quality. And when I called I had such an amazing service, it was like having my own personal shopper on the other line, anyway I thank my best friend for introducing me to Macktakmart.com.

The first time I have ordered on Macktakmart was to find a dress for my friend's wedding: I went in many stores during a couple of month to find the perfect dress for this special occasion. One of friends who had ordered a dress on Macktakmart advised me to check out their dresses. After having spent a little time on the website to find the dress I was looking for I finally found it and called the customer service for some advice on the size I should get, they have been very helpful, so I ordered my dress. I received my order very fast, and the dress was exactly like I thought: PERFECT! After this great experience and a lot of compliments on my dress during the wedding, I decided to order again on the website and every time I found what I was looking for. I really find their dresses gorgeous and their quality great, their customer service very helpful and gives very good advices. I received each dress very fast and loved the free accessories they sent with them! I really recommend this website to everybody!
