Quick communication when I reached out to Lucy in the Sky. Sadly 2 of the 3 dresses that we ordered we have returned and waiting for the 3rd dress to arrive. We went according to the measurements in picking a size.• Chicago Ruched Side Slit Maxi Dress in Purple, L******* - M The shoulder straps didn't stay on the shoulders and the side slit was to high (top of thigh it stopped)

I was extremely excited to find this website as I was putting together outfits for a huge music festival I am attending called Ultra. One of the dresses on this site, the Eilish Mesh Glitter Three Piece set, was everything I was hoping for and more. It was perfect, exactly what I wanted - I ordered it immediately. I placed my order a month and a half before I needed it, ample amounts of time. The site stated I would receive my dress between March 4th and 11th. This was perfect as my event is march 24-26 and I will be traveling to it prior. As the date approached, I kept looking out for a shipping confirmation email and tracking number. On March 3rd, a day before my order was possibly being delivered, I reached out to the company confused and concerned as to why I had not yet received any shipping updates from them and emphasized the importance that I receive this dress between the dates I was told at the time I made my purchase. The email I received back was extremely disappointing - they told me they have recently had an increase of traffic to their site, there was a delay in the manufacturing of this dress, and it will not ship until March 24th, the day of my event. The fact that this company did not relay this information to me until I reached out to them the day before my order was to be delivered is beyond unprofessional and left me in an extremely compromised position. I am now scrambling to find another outfit just two weeks before the event. They told me I could exchange my order for an "in-stock" item and that it could be shipped within 24 hours, the dress I ordered was still in stock on the site and I requested I receive my original order immediately. They were no help. I received automated email replies and when I called the customer service number, it repeatedly went to voicemail. I can not express my dissatisfaction with this company enough. I don't know how a company could let this happen AND not inform the customer! I am disgusted by this companies inattentiveness to paying customers. Do not give them your money.
Bought a dress….too short, didn't zip up despite sizing up. Found out you can't return for a refund?! Of course they'll say "we have it in the faq's" knowing well no one will bother reading it. I spent $90, and was super exited. Lucy in the Sky, hope you're happy with that money. Never shopping here, and letting everyone know your shady business tactics.

My daughter purchased a dress for $95 that was too small. Store policy is strictly "store credit", not refunds. After checking their site out, it was apparent that everything they sell would also cause sizing issues. I brought this up with the site, and they reiterated what their policy was. I again asked nicely if they would reconsider, as it was an expensive dress and 'Store Credit" would be useless in our case. My 'live chat' was then disconnected, and I thought that was the end of it. I tried once more to contact the live representative, who on connection apologized for the disconnect, and surprisingly told me they had contacted a supervisor and they allowed a '1 time refund" due to the sizing trouble, and promptly refunded the purchase!
I was very surprised and happy for this and I am 100% pleased with the outcome. The associate I spoke to went out of her way for me, and I just am grateful they did. I did not expect for this resolution to end favorably for me!
Do not purchase from Lucy in the Sky. They have such cute styles, but the clothing quality is so bad. I ordered 4 items and once I received 2 of them and saw how bad the quality was. I was horrified. The dresses were way too short - they barely covered my butt. I ordered a size larger and they still didn't fit.

I ordered my item in January an now - 05. March - I still didn't receive nothing. Not even a tracking number...
While initial items were not available, the customer service made sure to communicate and expedite new options! Very Happy!
If you order online and don't like the fit or aren't happy with the quality, they will NOT refund your money...you will only get a store credit for another poor quality dress...their return policy is a scam!

I ordered a dress 2 and half weeks ago with documented shipment receivable Jan 17-24th. With en email from me sent on the 19th of shipment tracking a response came back with dress won't be shipped till first week of February. That is 5 weeks from time of order and not the time frame given at purchase. Now I'm not only out a dress (need is for the 38th) but where was the communication without me reaching out first? I won't ever purchase a dress from this company again.

This site has the cutest clothes, and good customer service. Occasionally shipping has been delayed but other times it's pretty fast! Can't complain too much lol. Would recommend if you're looking for cute dresses for teens or for yourself if you're in your 40s like me and still like to dress cute lol.
Terrible customer service who canceled my order and told me that was what I wanted (all I wanted to know was when the return policy kicked in when your large order is shipped in partial shipments lol)
Sent them an email asking a question (and mentioned multiple times that I understood that their returns were for only store credit). They clearly didn't read the email correctly and assumed that I was asking to get around the store credit (which I clearly was not). Without following up with me, they just canceled my order and told me that they didn't want to further the issue (lol so lazy). When I responded that was nowhere close to the question I was originally asking them nor did I want my order to be canceled, they told me that was what I ASKED FOR in the original email lol. Posted photos of the conversation to show their incompetence.

My daughter needed a dress for her banquet event (in a week) and ordered a couple of dresses from Lucy in the Sky. Then we realized we won't be able to get the dresses on time. Within an hour, I used their online chat and asked to cancel the order. They did cancel it without asking any questions. I received an email stating refund will be processed within 10 business days. 15+ business days past, no refund. I then emailed *******@lucyinthesky.email. Leeza replied and said refund will be posted in 5 business days. Based on poor reviews on here, I was preparing not receiving refund. However, in the 5th day, I got an email from Paypal informed me refund was sent to my account. 2 days later, I received the refund. I give the company 4 stars based on my experience (minus one star for needing to contact customer services for refund).
I purchased a dress in 9/1/22 with a delivery date of 9/16-9/24. Dress arrived 10/4. After the event I was planning on wearing it. I return the dress on 10/18, Lucy in the Sky confirmed receipt of dress and said I would receive a refund in 10 days. No refund was received. I emailed again on 11/7. They promised I would receive a refund in 5 days. No refund received. I emailed again on 11/25. No response.
At this point, 3 months after purchasing a dress, I have no dress and I'm out $64. How is this legal?

My daughter ordered several dresses 2 months ago for homecoming. Our fault for not reading the return policy, but does anyone expect NOT to get a refund for a promptly-returned online order? Only one of 5 dresses arrived on time. I tried to cancel the order three times, but never received a response to my emails. Yesterday I got an email that a dress had been shipped, long after I asked to cancel the order. I emailed them right away and got a response (first time ever) saying they couldn't cancel it now because it had already shipped—this is 6 weeks after I tried to cancel the order. I order online all the time, and I have never had such a terrible experience. Please do not order from this company.

This morning Nov 25th I called to get a tracking number for a dress expected to be delivered today. I sent emails and chatted with customer service several times to ensure my order would be here on time. I chatted with customer service who spent 45 minutes assuring it would be here by Dec 2 at the latest. When I asked several more questions about their shipping policy she finally said The dress isn't made and won't be shipped until Dec. 16th.

Ordered a dress 10/12 in anticipation of a delay (their site said Nov. 5 would be MAX date of arrival). My daughter has an event Nov. 19. I know it's still only Nov. 15 but I do not think this dress is coming. Customer service is awful. Do not buy from them. I have emailed them three times and tried to do the virtual chat but it never works. Also no updates on arrival or even if I will ever get it. I foresee no dress, no money returned and no reply. Really bad.

My daughter ordered her homecoming dress on Sept. 11 for her October 29 homecoming and it never arrived. I reached out to customer service in early October and told it would be shipped on October 25 (2 day air) still it never arrived. We ended up having to run out and buy a dress last minute.
