This is another dating site where they bolck any kind of personal information that you send so you have to spend thousands of dollars on emails where alot of thew emails that the girls are writing are written by employees at the site. Unlike the other scam dating sites like amolatina and anastaciadate some of these women are actually real women looking for a foreign man. I know this because i have met some of these women in person but the thing that got me angry is wqhen i showed them all the letters that they wrote to me they were shgocked and said they never wrote any of those letters so i had spent hundreds of dollars writing to an employee of loveme.com and when i complained to the site they gave me some BS that i needed proof but what more proof was it then to have the girls tell me themselves. They are a joke just trying to milk as much money out iof you as posible

So first let me make this disclaimer I have never purchased a tour and only used the letter translation a couple times and I can only speak of my experience in Cartagena Colombia. With that being said I have watched first hand this company in action and the dedication its owners and staff put into trying to make the best experience for their clients. Originally went to Columbia to try and buy a introduction agency. After spending several trips in the city I became more and more interested on how the service worked. I went to the same place where they put on an event and there where hundreds of woman all shapes, ages, and appearances. Because my passion to live in Cartagena I relocated and lived in the city for more then 2 years I opened a small Internet cafe and helped a lot of the guys who came down for a tour. I done some translations and helped them find different things to do and places to eat while they was in this foreign country. The one thing I did notice is the expectations of most of the guys that I met coming to a foreign country as if they were coming there to save someone from their own life. Even though these women may live in a Third World country or a country that is not what you may feel equal to ours here in the United States they still are living a good life they just want a life with a good man. I seen a lot of the guys that I knew, come and go some came back some came back many times The one thing I can say is they found out things that they could not find back home. Foreign affair does everything that they think they need to do to keep everyone of their clients by keeping them out of the bad spots or the places that may be taken avantage of them and try to make good introductions to good women looking for good men. The mail is a service to help make the introductions and even though the staff is doing the translations I have witness the woman being in the office while the staff reads the letter to them and they send a response. There are more real woman in this service then woman you will find on dating websites here in the USA. This is a good service but you also have to understand that you can't just pick what you think is the best one to your eye and expect them to just want you back just bc you write some letter and pay for translations or take a tour there to meet them. This is a service that will help you meet a lot of beautiful woman that are really interested in meeting men that want a good life together.

This is another dating site where you can not give out personal information to the girls and it works exactly like the other sites where you write a letter to a girl you are interested in and the response you get back is from an employee of the site pretending to be the girl so you will spend hundreds of dollars talking to a girl that does not know you exist. I've been writing to ladies in the Philippines Cebu and Davao only and have actually met them in person and I should say, they were more better in person! Guys always complain about the website being a scam and all that. Well let me ask you a question, have you actually taken the step to actually meet them in person? Personally, I will love to visit there again and also contact those ladies that I have met before. Guys, don't act like a know it all. Don't judge, be a man and travel and see for yourself.

Well from my experience Cebu women answer your letters and all girls are honest and their photos while touched up are a real person. The Ukraine women that's another story have you wondered why there are so many beautiful girls on that site and the photos sent to you are looking like models?. The first letter you receive are mostly sent by staff and all the others are computer generated. Its a land of corruption don't waist your money. Some photos taken outside are genuine especial where the lady has children.

I can't ignore the "experts" that are stating this site is a scam, that all reviews are from paid bloggers and all the women are fake... Amazing that you can sit by your computer write a letter or email "Keyboard Romeo's" and be so stupid to believe that you will ever establish a relationship or meet a woman! Duh! No, you will be alone forever... you actually have to get a passport, a plane ticket, and meet the women in their city during a group or individual tour. But I know the "Experts", and those that are so sure this is a scam, developed their all knowing information and opinions by never leaving their house. But alas "You Are So Much Cooler Online."

This site (www.loveme.com) is for real and if the "Experts" had ever attended a AFA Seminar or viewed the blogs ect they would know that the staff and owners of A Foreign Affair will tell you DO NOT WRITE LETTERS at least not until you are scheduled for a tour and you can say "I am coming to your city on (this date) and I would like to meet you..."

I know this site is completely legitimate and honest. I have used it, and yes I had an issue or two with letters. Just one phone call to the AFA Phoenix office and the issues were resolved and the monies refunded. The two women I wrote letter to in Cebu Philippines were real women, whom I met 6 weeks after we started writing, because I actually went to Cebu... and really met them both.

I too "Am So Much Cooler Online" but I decided you like or love me for who I really am and I took the chance. Good thing I went on the August 2014 tour to Cebu, Philippines and met my new wife Marlyn and we celebrated our first wedding anniversary in May 2016. The site and the staff at AFA are for real and completely legitimate... I would not be married now if not for them.

Anyone who thinks they will meet someone by writing romantic letters and emails will spend a lot of money and still be alone! Making Love through the mail is impossible... I was in the Navy... so I know!;-))

I have been there a member for some years and I do not trust their PPL at all anymore. Recently I have been to Kiew twice and when I addressed my trip to some women from Kiew, they simply ignored this questions as many others when it is getting on a concrete answer or point of view.

Last year I exchanged letters with a nice lady from Mariupol - after we messaged for quite some time I asked her about a meeting and she started to avoid the questions and be evasive. Now I found a "new" profile of her with crucial different information "she" never mentioned back then.

Also I met a woman there from Kiev, now have Skype contact with her and she tries to earn money with the "translation" trick - her profile is deleted in the meantime.

Address a woman to some points in her profile, she will not answer these questions.

Of course their introdcution letter are auto-generated which would be ok in general - but a year ago I received a letter from a lady, opened it and about a year later got the same letter with the exact same text again

I could add many more points - their support also only answers in general "blabla"

Philippines! Great! Real women sign up, true. Real women who are paid staff write the letters to you. They sift through the facebook accounts of real women you think you are writing, in order to make it believable. I have contacted who I thought I was writing, by finding them on facebook, only to find that some of them had boyfriends and fiance's. One woman I did meet in the Philippines said she never received a letter from me or wrote me herself, though it appeared as such on the site. She said they have just cold-called her when they needed her to meet someone. There will be 100's if not 1000's of women you'll see in a couple days, if you just get off the plane. The only upside on the site is that the women are purported to be vetted a bit more, in that they are already in the mindset to move away and navigate all the paperwork.

I was a skeptic at first of the whole international dating thing! But after watching many of AFA's vlogs and reading there many testimonials i figured why not i enjoy traveling and why not take a chance to meet a woman that i could spend my life with, Lord knows i have failed miserably at finding her here in America. So of to the Philippines i went, and what and adventure i had! Not only did i have an amazing adventure in the Philippines but i meet the most amazing woman, and now she is here in America with me.

Awesome service and staff! Fantastic Tours! I have utilized the benefits, advantages and opportunities offered by A Foreign Affair for many years. I have never used their letter writing services as I prefer to meet women in person, one on one. I met my first wife on a A Foreign Affair Tour and that marriage lasted ten great years. We eventually divorced parting friends and going our separate ways, what can I say, S. T happens in this world but no regrets.
After taking several years to regain my footing I am back in the game and the name of the game is the Ukraine. I generally travel with a half dozen profiles of women that I want to meet and generally meet 60% of those women. I should qualify that statement by saying I am now 58 years old and have never dated a woman over the age of 36. I attended a tour during the first part of 2016. This tour was unusual because most of the 20 other men were of approximately my age. This was the happiest group of guys you would ever want to see. They were all dating women twenty to thirty years their junior and not a frown in the crowd. I generally see about 30 men on a tour and approximately 150 to 250 single, beautiful and eager women at each social wanting to meet the right guy. The number of women attendees seems to depend on the time of year as winter draws a larger attendance.

Hey all- Long post.

I've been with AFA about 3 months now. I had tried it once before. My experience-ditch the letters. I would say a majority of the time, the lady you are getting it from has no idea it was sent. I have received those introductory letters from someone I had already traded emails with. Plus, it costs a good bit to get to the point where you can get direct contact.

After the first month, 100 email addresses cost the monthly fee of $29.95. That's a lot of addresses. Are they all good? I'm sure they aren't. Do you get responses? Yes. Is the response rate great? No. However, you do get notified if a lady actually accepts your information. Your choice to follow up or wait to see if she is interested. Side note-I've yet to have any lady drop into the I need money for this emergency, etc.

Keep in mind-when you send an email you must do so from the same email address used to request the addresses. Also-ladies you send email to do not see your profile. Send your profile info in the body and attach pictures.

I had one contact tell me to use AFA letter since they would translate. I told her no, twice, and never heard back from here. Hmmm. Google and Bing have very good translators. Yeah, you may have to restate something to clear it up, but overall very good work. I had one lady compliment me on how i could speak Spanish. Now I really have to learn it.

Granted, this eliminates a lot of ladies. You always have the choice though to contact them through AFA. For me, there are so many ladies that have great qualities that I just don't see the point. I'd rather save the money to spend while I'm there meeting them!

No comment on tours-I've never done one, though they sound interesting, if for no other reason, to visit another country and culture.

All of this is, of course, offered IMHO.

I have used AFA/LoveMe.com several times now. For my first trip I did not start with writing letters, I simply gathered up many profile #'s of ladies I was interested in, emailed them to AFA and jumped on a plane. When I arrived in Ukraine and went to the local AFA office, they informed me of who was available/interested in meeting based on the ladies looking at my profile/photos... 60-70% of ladies were available to meet. The office put together all of my dates so I had a daily schedule of who to meet and where. If I needed a translator, one was provided for a cheap hourly rate.

It was not until future trips when I started attending AFA's socials... WOW! The ratio of ladies to men was 10:1, perhaps higher. From my experience attending a few socials, they can be a bit overwhelming... so many beautiful women in one room there to meet you! Every social I have attended has included being pulled away/interrupted by other ladies trying to meet me... not an exaggeration. As another reviewer mentioned, all contact info can be freely exchanged at AFA's socials and between Skype, Viber or email you will be able to communicate.

For the folks that left all the negative reviews: Get off your butts, actually USE AFA, DO MORE THAN LETTER WRITING! Yes, there are ladies who are scammers(in any country around the world) and simply want money or just want to go out to an expensive restaurant... these are obviously the ones to avoid. All of my dates start with a cup of coffee, simple as that. It's by far easier to weed them out in person than it is by communicating by letters and never meeting them. And yes, ALL GIRLS USE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS for their profile on the website. After all, they are trying to meet a foreign man and want to make their best impression... so be prepared if/when you meet them and they look slightly different from the airbrushed photos you have seen, THEY ARE STILL THE SAME GIRL.

Bottom line: Remember AFA IS A BUSINESS, not a non-profit organization. To get your feet wet with long-distance dating is going to take time AND money, but they are here to help ;)

My name is Kevin and I have actually used the services of AFA for over 6 years. I have been on several trips to the Ukraine with them and have gotten to know the organization very well. I can say that the tours I have been on have been extremely enjoyable and everything as advertised. I have met hundreds of the women profiled on their site in person and the vast majority look very similar to their photos. I do not spend a lot of time writing letters, they actually advise you not to write a lot of letters, instead to go and meet the women in person and that has worked well for me. I have met a few women who were very compatible and I dated for some time. I would highly recommend the site to anyone who is really interested in meeting someone for a real relationship. I would agree with what they say on the site about writing letters, I would not waste a lot of time and effort and money on that, I think you will get much more out of the service if you take their tours and meet the women in person and then correspond. I also want to add that the company is always very responsive to any issues I have ever had, all I have to do is call Liz or Anna or Iya and they take care of any problems or questions I have. I have even spoken to the owners several times and they have been helpful.

It has been several years since I used the services of A Foreign Affair to meet my wife and I noticed that there were some negative posts about their service here, (along with some positive ones as well!).

I know it is a large service and I am sure there will be issues from time to time, as there are with any large service, especially a dating service, but I also know if it was not for AFA I would have never met my wife. We have been happily married now for 7 years and we have the most beautiful child in the world.

I would have never travelled to Peru on my own to meet her and I can't imagine my life now without her. Anyone can find issues and problems with any site out there, especially the size of AFA, and from my experience most people who are happy normally do not take the time to share their experiences on sites like these so you normally only see the negatives.

My best advice to anyone reading this is to call the company, talk with them, get referrals from their past clients who actually used the service, and take the adventure of going over and meeting the different women, it will change your world, it certainly changed mine.

About me, I speak some Russian, Chinese, and Spanish. I have traveled around the world myself and have practically lived in China and Russia for several months. My ex wife, who speaks excellent English, is mainland Chinese.
I want to say that I have been messaging some of these women for several days, and most seem to be legit and sincere. Plus they are spectacularly beautiful.
The reality is that many of them don't know English very well, and the service is expensive.

I have used this service for years and met many real women in Colombia and Peru. I never took any of the tours just bought the email address that were available which saves a ton of $$$. I speak fluent Spanish so I did not need any translation services. Yeah the part that is weird is most of the Chinese / Russian women have no email address available but that I know nothing about. AFA contacted the one I thought was hot and we met, hit it off and had a good thing for about 3 years. But the fact is, you dont really know these girls until you meet them, you may not like her, or she may not like you. Youre not ordering $#*!es online, youre using the site to bridge the distance and possible language barrier. Its a tool, simple as that. I will say that this site doesnt allow for the girls to ask for money, or anything that proposes a scam, and if it looks like a scam they want to know about it, read their stuff its on the website. Try googling the descriptions that are attached to the super models. Lets face it, the super models are the big attraction. What will you find? The same descriptions are attached to profiles all over the internet. If you complain about it to Foreign Affair they will tell you that other websites have stolen their profiles and descriptions. Look closely, the profiles on the other websites are usually older than the ones you are responding to on Foreign Affair. It's a scam, plain and simple.

I'm writing this review because I have read some of the reviews here and I don't know what some of these guys are thinking. I have had an outstanding experience with A foreign affair. I have gone to the beautiful city of Cartagena Colombia twice and the accommodations were first class. From the flight to the local office to the apartment all great! I went on two to three dates a day. With smart, successful, beautiful woman. I meet a particular girl and we went on a couple of dates and spent my last day together. We have been skype'ing since November 2014.
As a mentioned earlier I recently went back and again the agency did a fantastic job. The flight was great. They put me in another large apartment with all of the amenities. The office helped me with dinner reservations and a tour of blanco playa which is a pristine white beach. I spent a week with the same girl and found true love.
