I was on my way home on my cousin Enrique Hernandez's birthday when I forgot to buy the 2 gallon bag of beans at Costco. I hastefully searched Bing for the best beans I could find online to deliver right to my doorstep. I stumbled upon this site and needless to say, there were no beans. On the bright side, I did get my step daughter a bright pink book bag with her name on it so she would hate me just a little less.
Quality sportsman gear and clothing at a good price. They accurately describe all products and provide prompt shipping of all merchandise. I have used them for many items over the years including while I was stationed overseas in the armed services.
I reserved a pair of yoga pants on line following ALL directions. Received an email stating my item was ready to pick up at the Tysons Corner store. Arrived and 40 minutes later was still without my item. First, Emily and Elena were terrific. No one could find the item. Elena and I checked every register counter after calling down to where the items are supposed to be held. After about 15 minutes, someone was supposed to come up from the downstairs area to speak with me. Another sales person told me someone was on the way. Never saw anyone from downstairs. The assistant manager disappeared when Elena told her she needed help with a customer. After 2 or 3 calls on the walkie-talkie, Kathy still was invisible and busy. Tom, the manager, was initially at a meeting and then could not be reached. I left with a gift card which Elena begged me to take, even though I told her chances of me shopping here again were very slim. I can't tell you how many sales people (and there were many) walked by me as I was standing at the top of the stairs waiting for the person from downstairs who never came. Elena was the only one who cared to ask if she could help. She personally went downstairs to check herself only to come back confused. What has happened to L L Bean?

Did not send me my item and I had to fight with them for my refund and eventually take this up with my credit card company (still not resolved). I filed a complaint with the BBB and they claimed that they offered a replacement; this is a outright lie when none was offered. Bottom line: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU PREFER TO RUN THE RISK THAT NOTHING SHOWS UP AND HAVE THE TIME TO FIGHT WITH THEM.

I love LL Bean. They are my go to place to get Christmas and birthday presents for my son and husband. They have a liberal exchange policy. You receive merchandise quickly often overnight. The good we have purchased have been of very good quality.
I've been happy with every purchase, every product, and every interaction with LL Bean. They are the only company I purchase some specific basic items from - like the slacks I wear to work and the solid color three quarter sleeve tops I wear for layering. They are my favorite on-line retailer.
How can you not love LL Bean? They truly stand behind their products and their products (although a bit stuffy) are high quality. WARNING - LL Bean has undergone a transformation from outfitting Maine woodsmen to mincing around Deer Isle millionaires dressed in hoity toity 40 years behind the times fashions. They have every gear you can think of in regards to weather and other apparel too! All for every age! Even infant and toddlers! They have plus sizes as well as petite sizes. Go check it out either online or at a local store if you have one in town. Oh AND BTW THEY HAVE GOOD PRICES TOO!
I just love shopping at L L Bean. Freeport is also an awesome destination. So happy that they will ship to Canada and not try to gouge us with high shipping and handling costs. Love their shoes. So comfortable.

Answer: Fairly easy to get a CS rep via chat or phone but they aren't as conscientious as they once were and seem to use a lot of canned responses.
Answer: If you don't get results from one customer service representative, ask to speak to a supervisor. I emailed my question in and had a quick response and exceptional service. Had I not, I certainty would have gone up the chain of command.
